Ikr... injuries which are caused by magic can be cured by magic. But in eyesight case, eyesight is decreased naturally. It's probably like the case of food...where you can't make food out of nowhere.
I think what you said has some pretty good merit to it! It could be that anything not caused by natural reasons, like being born with it, can be fixed by magic. Then there are probably things they still cannot fix. They may have magic, but they would still need to know how to use that magic in order to repair it correctly. Hence why Harry got a rubber arm after the quiddetch match where professor Lockhart claimed he knew how to fix it, but obviously he really didn't.
Peter Pettigrew stayed in wizard family because he was looking for news of Voldemort returns. It's said in books. As for Dumbledore not hiring better Dada teacher. Voldemort put a jinx on job so no teacher lasted longer than year. It means 30 teachers in 30 years give or take. And look on fate of 7 teachers that were there during Harry's years. No wonder Dumbledore had trouble getting anyone accept the job. It's all in books.
About Triwizard Rules, I heard in another video that one whose name emerges from goblet of fire, he or she has to participate otherwise they'll die..... It's somewhat like unbreakable vow.... As for after Hogwarts point there are few other careers such as magic zoologist, diagon alley shopkeeper, newspaper reporter, etc. The whole series is based on mother's love.... So the scene molly kills Bellatrix portrays that it's so strong as to kill the most dangerous death Eater.... And in another video I gotta know that she never actually used the killing curse on Bellatrix... It was some other one otherwise why did she burst into pieces? She should have died like an ordinary person without any scratch and body unharmed.... (exception of Harry and voldemort)
You know, when i was little every time i watch shows that have things that doesnt make much sense, i always ask my mom about it, but the more i grow up, the more i realise to ignore those things, because thinking about it just ruin the show. I like to remind myself "these world have their own logic".
4:06 it was mentioned in the books that he stayed with the Weasleys/a wizarding family because he wanted to be updated on whether Black has escaped or not. He also stayed there because he wanted to know if he was still safe or not.
technically all these things made sense except the remembralls. You will find the answers in the books. and many things that you mentioned were there in the books but not the movies and actual harry potter is the books.
Many of these can be explained easily. The dentist in the clock was never mentioned in the books. It was mentioned in the books that parents can drop of their children at hogwarts if they want.
Well honestly I think Dumbledore never in his wildest dreams imagined a war to happen on Hogwarts grounds, I mean comon !! Who would think that a war would commence on a school ground ??!! Moreover voldemort was only after harry & not the school so he made sure harry was prepared to face him
It’s the movie. In the book there is no dentist on the clock. Also the sorting hat sings its own song each year. I think the surprise is just for the movie lol I don’t recall anyone shocked or surprised in the book.
@@shareit8193 all the books came before any of the movies. The movies are based on the books. Rather loosely based the books at that. Most of the mistakes pointed out in this video are either explained or do not exist in the books.
I remember watching harry potter 1 on a school trip in the cinema and it truly was a magical experience. The way the following movies developed, combined with watching the actors grow at roughly the same rate as me is why I'ts still one of my favourites ever since.
An orphaned boy enrolls in a school of wizardry, where he learns the truth about himself, his family and the terrible evil that haunts the magical world.
In the book catching the snitch doesn't win the game, it ends the game and gives 150 points to the seeker's team. Apparently the game goes on until someone catches the snitch, which could mean that if the team of the seeker who caught the snitch was behind by more than 150 points, that team would still lose. That's a place where the movies really drop the ball.
It really bothers me in the first book that the philosophers stone was supposed to be better protected at Hogwarts than at Gringotts and yet a group of three first years where able to get it.
molly is really powerful and she was from a powerful family, she didn’t show much power when she was at home tho but that doesn’t mean she’s useless. Also businesses and cooks, waitress, and conducters? wizards did this for money aswell
Yeah but it’s illegal to change time like that. Also in the books, all the things that Harry and Hermione “change” are all things that were never confirmed to have happened. When buckbeak is presumably killed, they said that they heard the thud of an axe and Hagrid howling, but conveniently, they never turned around to see what had happened. And Hagrids howling was with glee, not sadness, but they couldn’t hear properly. As for saving Sirius, he had never been kissed yet, just locked up, so they could still save him.
She can... but she cant. Hermione was warned, that wizards or witches that is using the time turner can NOT let their past self see them or else... you know what can happen to them 🙄
First year students are met by one of the professors who tell them all about this. Remember who visited Harry? Hagrid. Hagrid wasn't a professor and indeed Hagrid wasn't great at remembering things. So this just showed Hagrid's inexperience. If Harry had have been visited by Professor McGonagall then she would have told him.
Lupin was a good teacher because he changed Harry and Hermione and everyone else very well that's why Hermione didn't snitch that he was a werewolf because he was the best defense against the dark arts professor
I do accept that Harry's parents look older in the movies because, well, you know, they are human actors! They age. The biggest problem I have about showing his parents is that we are constantly told how Harry looks exactly like James (except for the eyes). How come when they show flashbacks of James he doesn't look anything like Harry whatsoever. Why not get Radclif to play both parts?
The train counts as an extension of the school. Also, most of the students ride the train in order to catch up with their friends in person before they reach the school. They don't have to ride the train. Their parents can drop them off, they can take the Knight Bus, they can get permission to travel by Floo Powder, etc. The only students who are required to travel by the train are those who are muggle-born, and first years; at least if I read the books correctly.
The Quidditch thing is a bit confusing at first, but gets explained better in the books. Been a while since I read them, so I'll try to remember the best I can... The opposing Quidditch team can have 510 points and still lose to the other at 360 points after the Snitch had been caught. The Quidditch season determines, not by the amount of wins you have at the end of the season, but by the amount of points you've accumulated by then.
Yeah but still why such a big gap? It's not even fair, like the other team would have to be DUNKING on you for it not to matter. It's not good competitively
I think jk Rowling chose molly weasly to kill belletrix lestrege because mollys bogart was all of her children and harry being dead on the floor and belatrix was about to kill all of them so I think that by choosing this charecter it shows how much molly cares and how much anger she felt at the time also it shows she has overcame her fear
I don't know how- But I've watched the movie 5 times and reading the books rn But I'm NEVER bored! Like I am in most movies and that makes it fun! **I'm a Gryffindor btw**
In the Deathly Hallows pt 1 Hermione says that The sword of Godric Gryffindor appeared for Harry in the "Chamber of secrets" but if Hermione was actually a student at Hogwarts she wouldn't say "chamber of secrets" unless they had names for each year. This doesn't make sense to me and really confuses me. I know they are trying to make the viewer/reader realize in what book/film they are taking about but I still am very confused.
Ur thoughts are right but harry was in the 'Chamber of Secrets with the basilisk and Tom Riddle, she wasn't addressing the book/movie name, but where it happened :)
And, you could always charm an ink bottle to keep refilling itself! I mean, isn't that what McGonagall did except, it was on a goblet of pumpkin juice?
2:00 - remember this was in the first film, and security was increased after the events of the first film. Also remember, being magical people, they have a feeling of being indestructible, which can make them complacent.
Not sure the first year students are exactly afraid of the Sorting Hat, its that they don't want to end up in House Slytherin since as mentioned in the movies, that every witch or wizard that has gone bad has come from that house.
Oliver Wood: Scared Harry? Harry: uhmm, yeah a little… Draco: Scared Pottah? Harry: no Harry: I’m not scared of you-know-who! Also Harry: scared of myrtle seeing him taking a bath😂😂😂😵😵
One thing that doesn't make since is that Barty Crouch Jr (disguised as Moody) is allowed to use unforgivable curses in front of a bunch of 4th years in a classroom. The Ministry of Magic specifically states that such use is a one way ticket to Azkaban, but get somehow Moody seems to get away with it with no clear explanation
for some parts of the video i think you did not read the books. for your information Pettigrew lived with the weasleys to keep up on what is happening in the wizarding world. I also think that the battle of hogwarts took place at hogwarts is because they couldn't get 1000 students out of the school in time.
Another common mistake when scabbers ,a.k.a Peter changes to human form he has clothes with him but when he escapes in a scene , while he turns back again to the rat form he leaves the clothes behind but that explains when he was exposed by sirious he had clothes ........ Hmmmm intresting 😐😐🤔
I was watching the first Harry Potter for like the 5 time and I noticed that in the book everyone comments on Harry's green eyes but in the movie Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) has blue eyes 👀
I read the books and saw the movies and I learned that everything in the Wizarding world is different, dangerous, but also fun. I want to go to this world and never come back!
In the movies, Harry isn't carrying Cedric's body when he returns at Hogwarts, but when he appears, he does have it. See, the books are so much better :')

The defense against the dark arts teachers wer all last minute pickd since that job is cursed, and umbridhe was given it because Dumbledore couldn't find anyone. These people haven' read the books that much
The reason that no one knew about the sorting hat is because there was a Fidelius Charm cast by the headmaster/headmistress meaning no one aside from them could mention the sorting hat
If you read the books and the Quidditch matches, they are much more intense and exciting than in the movies. You get to know the weather, how people are feeling, and just much more information. So, when you read the books and you hear about the scores, it's more than just catching the snitch to win. Some of the matches are actually really pretty close, even with the snitch in play. Ikr... injuries which are caused by magic can be cured by magic.
I'm so happy that harry potter was made like 20 years ago and people are still talking about harry potter
4:50 Fred and George: Our brother has been sleeping with this Peter-guy for a while now…
*proceeds to ask Ron about his secret boyfriend*
Fixing Eye Sight Spell
Interesting.
Maybe your writer could read the books and check Pottermore before complaining about things that have already been explained.
'What... is a rUbBeR dUcK?'
'Oh.'
Love this
About Triwizard Rules, I heard in another video that one whose name emerges from goblet of fire, he or she has to participate otherwise they'll die.....
For the Scotland back tracking one, I think that the Scottish students are given a different way to hogwarts
With the hat thing, Ron wasn't told he thaught you had to fight a troll
4:06 it was mentioned in the books that he stayed with the Weasleys/a wizarding family because he wanted to be updated on whether Black has escaped or not. He also stayed there because he wanted to know if he was still safe or not.
Three important words that you have to take into consideration: READ THE BOOKS.
technically all these things made sense except the remembralls. You will find the answers in the books. and many things that you mentioned were there in the books but not the movies and actual harry potter is the books.
Your childhood is nothing if u havent watched HARRY POTTER
But didn't the movie come first??or was it the book???
@@shareit8193 all the books came before any of the movies. The movies are based on the books. Rather loosely based the books at that. Most of the mistakes pointed out in this video are either explained or do not exist in the books.
@@emeraldcountess8471 ok
@@emeraldcountess8471 the movie is like a short summary of the books basically.
remous was a good teacher!!!!
For the first one , it is clearly mentioned that even magic has its limits
Well, I've always been wondering what happens when the witches' periods come for a visit. Like do they use pads or not
🤔
Sorry, but I would just as soon not think about that.
Amazing video 👍
molly is really powerful and she was from a powerful family, she didn’t show much power when she was at home tho but that doesn’t mean she’s useless. Also businesses and cooks, waitress, and conducters? wizards did this for money aswell
If hermoine had a time turner she could’ve easily gone back in time before the war to warn Harry or dumbledore she had soo much power
No but after for third year she gave a time turner back to McGonigal
@@Maayrakk Yep, and also in Order of the Phoenix, the time turners were destroyed.
@@nrlstatistics4898 Yeah
Yeah but it’s illegal to change time like that. Also in the books, all the things that Harry and Hermione “change” are all things that were never confirmed to have happened. When buckbeak is presumably killed, they said that they heard the thud of an axe and Hagrid howling, but conveniently, they never turned around to see what had happened. And Hagrids howling was with glee, not sadness, but they couldn’t hear properly. As for saving Sirius, he had never been kissed yet, just locked up, so they could still save him.
She can... but she cant. Hermione was warned, that wizards or witches that is using the time turner can NOT let their past self see them or else... you know what can happen to them 🙄
About platform 9 3/4:
How do Muggle Born students know how to get there in the first year?
First year students are met by one of the professors who tell them all about this. Remember who visited Harry? Hagrid. Hagrid wasn't a professor and indeed Hagrid wasn't great at remembering things. So this just showed Hagrid's inexperience. If Harry had have been visited by Professor McGonagall then she would have told him.
We never know what spell Mrs weasley uses in the book to down bellatrix. A lot of this is movie mistakes. Y’all didn’t read the book and it shows lmao
Molly didn't use an unforgivable curse.
The train makes me confused hermionie wasnt on school and used magic
The train counts as an extension of the school.
Also, most of the students ride the train in order to catch up with their friends in person before they reach the school. They don't have to ride the train. Their parents can drop them off, they can take the Knight Bus, they can get permission to travel by Floo Powder, etc. The only students who are required to travel by the train are those who are muggle-born, and first years; at least if I read the books correctly.
Harry Potter is my childhood and everything I really love every video that you have done @TheThings
There is actually a dentist in diagon alley😌
i think fred and george didnt know who peter pettigrew was, because they didnt know anything about harry's parents or sirius
Hermione was 14 when she had the Time Turner. Her birthday is September 12th.
even if Harry potter was the most insane book series ever i'd still read it lol
I think jk Rowling chose molly weasly to kill belletrix lestrege because mollys bogart was all of her children and harry being dead on the floor and belatrix was about to kill all of them so I think that by choosing this charecter it shows how much molly cares and how much anger she felt at the time also it shows she has overcame her fear
“They look like 30”
Them: EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
I don't know how-
But I've watched the movie 5 times and reading the books rn
But I'm NEVER bored!
@@ashwaryaahuja3985 Oh now I understand, I was just at first confused :) :)
A magical safety net during quidditch match’s would have made a massive difference.
:)
I can obviously see that you only have seen the movies.
And, you could always charm an ink bottle to keep refilling itself! I mean, isn't that what McGonagall did except, it was on a goblet of pumpkin juice?
Even after 10years, people still talking about Harry Potter & this keep going on & on
2:00 - remember this was in the first film, and security was increased after the events of the first film. Also remember, being magical people, they have a feeling of being indestructible, which can make them complacent.
Nah don’t disrespect molly she had the power of love on her side
I never thought of the lack of jobs in the wizarding world up until now. But yeah, it doesn't make much sense
They do make sense we just don't understand much in harry potter, and i know this is just for content.
For the scabbers Weasley one, Peter became a rat so he can get information and give it to Voldemort
Not sure the first year students are exactly afraid of the Sorting Hat, its that they don't want to end up in House Slytherin since as mentioned in the movies, that every witch or wizard that has gone bad has come from that house.
Oliver Wood: Scared Harry?
Harry: uhmm, yeah a little…
Draco: Scared Pottah?
Harry: no
Harry: I’m not scared of you-know-who!
The thing about the dentists... Ron’s family is just careful and the others are stereotypical brits
I like that Harry had glasses Bc he wouldn’t have looked right without them
I’m surprised Wizards don’t know about Dentistry and rubber ducks.
Nonsense, there are hundreds of career options in the wizarding world
Didn't read the books I guess.
7:15 - These were not just regular owls. They were magical owls with far more power and understanding than their muggle version.
Neville forgot his cloak
It would have been better to have based the comments on the books rather than the films, i.e. source material
Is it only me but I'm just wondering why Dumbledore didn't use liquid luck to help Harry's parents to survive.
I was watching the first Harry Potter for like the 5 time and I noticed that in the book everyone comments on Harry's green eyes but in the movie Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) has blue eyes 👀
Daniel had an allergic reaction to the green eye lenses he was supposed to use
@@TheLordkiba thanks did not know that explains a lot
I read the books and saw the movies and I learned that everything in the Wizarding world is different, dangerous, but also fun. I want to go to this world and never come back!
I have a question about the movies too, how come Harry can’t see the skeleton horses until the 5th book/movie? He saw his parents die when he was 1
In the movies, Harry isn't carrying Cedric's body when he returns at Hogwarts, but when he appears, he does have it. See, the books are so much better :')
we love slytherin
. Because JK explained that she wanted to make it that wizards/witches could be cured/treated for injuries/ailments caused by magic, but standard muggle injuries/ailments are more difficult to treat with magic. She wanted the distinction between the two.
2. The “dentist” part of the clock was never mentioned in the books - this was a discrepancy in the films.
3. I think some kids know about the sorting hat - but other families choose to keep it a surprise 🤷♀️ in the books Fred and George had wound Ron up by saying they face a painful test or something along those lines.
4. Pretty sure the three headed dog would have done a pretty good job as opposed to the rickety old wooden door that could have just been blown up.
5. How do you know they did get the train lol?
6. Again, a discrepancy in the films - not the books.
7. They’re literally wizards and witches 😂 bit different to a normal school.
8. It’s happened, World Cup - victor Kringle caught the snitch but Ireland won.
9. Ron had been staying with them - something I don’t think was mentioned in the films.
10. It did scar Ron, it stayed with him for a while and he mentioned it from time to time, especially in the book, he was freaked out. Fred and George probably didn’t really know who pettigrew was considering they would have been very very young when he supposedly died. Maybe just thought he was a student they didn’t know 🤷♀️ doubt they spent much time staring at Ron in bed on the map 👀. Oh and you’ve gotta think there would have been 100s upon 100s of names on that map and they were only using it for the secret passages so might not have even noticed his name.
11. I’m guessing “accio” would have been taught in charms maybe? We don’t really see much of charms class.
12. The slytherin rivalry goes back to the founders - and in deathly hallows (the book) a lot of them do come back and stand on the side of good.
13. DATDA was a cursed subject ever since old Voldy applied for the job and didn’t get it.
14. Time turners had to be ministry approved.
15. It’s not really relevant?
16. Can’t send a parcel or the daily prophet through a mirror 👀.
17. Any name given by the cup has to compete, It’s a binding magical contract similar to an unbreakable vow, and if you break and unbreakable vow - you die🤷♀️.
18. Multiple job options in the ministry, shop keeper, wand maker, teacher, author, alchemist, astronomer, multiple jobs at gringotts, broom maker, executioner, journalist, owl trainer, quidditch, multiple jobs at st mangos, the list goes on…
19. Molly was the perfect person to kill bellatrix- she did so much damage to her family and friends and it was personal, for an unforgivable curse to work you need to mean it, and molly meant it.
20. Modern muggle technology doesn’t really work properly at hogwarts, and besides we as muggles have many useless pointless gadgets, maybe a rememberall is just one the many gimmicky items the wizarding world possesses 🤷♀️.
In short - read the books kids. 📖
The defense against the dark arts teachers wer all last minute pickd since that job is cursed, and umbridhe was given it because Dumbledore couldn't find anyone. These people haven' read the books that much
The thing that Neville forgot was his uniform everyone was wearing their full uniform but he was not
The reason that no one knew about the sorting hat is because there was a Fidelius Charm cast by the headmaster/headmistress meaning no one aside from them could mention the sorting hat
These theories are mind bending
We love harry potter
Defenetly
We do 😍
If you read the books and the Quidditch matches, they are much more intense and exciting than in the movies. You get to know the weather, how people are feeling, and just much more information. So, when you read the books and you hear about the scores, it's more than just catching the snitch to win. Some of the matches are actually really pretty close, even with the snitch in play. One of the reasons it's so important to read the books!
Scabers lived with ron so he could hear if voldormort was back in power so he could rejoin him
What is the function of a rubber duck, always gets me laughing.
some of these answers can be
answers: dumbldore hired dangerous defense against the dark arts teachers bcs they were the only one who signed up, hagrid said “people say the jobs jinxed”
7:25 - if you bothered to show the rest of the scene with Barty Crouch, you will have heard him say that it was a binding magical contract, the moment Harry's name came out of the goblet but also the following scene with Dumbledore, Snape and McGonagall, where Dumbledore takes Snape's suggestion to allow the situation to unfold, so they could understand what was happening.
8:35 is anyone else is still wondering it’s his robe or in other words clock
