Awesome car. I got chills multiple times during this video. There is something magical and noble about taking an old car and giving it a new lease on life. When you are young the objective is always to get as much car as the banks allow you to have on your income. When you are older you realize great car ownership is less about the year model and specs, but more about utility, how it makes you feel when you look at it, and how little you needed to spend to get that feeling. A comparable car from 2018 onwards would have cost this man hundreds of thousands...close to half a bar and up. This car couldn't have cost him more than R200 000 up to now. Its for this very reason I own 3 cars. A 2014 BMW 7 series, a Ford Figo 2012, and a Sani - 1993. Of all 3 the BMW does the least for me. It sounds insane, but its true. I have more fun thrashing my Figo around corners and rowing its gears, than I have punching the BMW 0-100 in 5 secs. The Sani 4x4 is just a monster. Its sits high on the road, crunches the road...and it evokes a more visceral feeling driving it than anything I have driven up to this point. I bought both the Sani and the Figo for +- 25% of what the BMW cost me...COMBINED. I have big plans for my Sani, and by the time I am done with it I would have spent a hell of a lot more on it than the R37 000 I paid for it 3 months ago. But the bank wont own it, and it will be a one of a kind Sani. MY...1 of a kind Sani!
The LS400 and LS430 was Produced with Zero Defect - No Warranty Claims from Dealers. Several Consumer Co. Confirmed this over it's Production Span. Show me a 25 year old German Ship - "With Everything that's Working" Looks Good. Nice Mods ✌
Stefan, been following you on insta for a while now, but I saw this on the road last weekend and it looks even better in the metal than in photos. Awesome car.
My 87 year old friend had 2. One with 878000km and one that was a Cherry below 100k. Not much difference between the 2. Aircon seats worked on both. Quiet idle on both. Testemant to the quality. My GS 14 years old and still my best car. I have an Audi, Merc, and a new Toyota

Outstanding end result. The idea to complete it with fresh paint was absolutely right to do.
