Definitely doing some self reflecting after watching your videos! I haven't sold myself in my current resume at ALL. Excited to throw my old resume in the trash. You really got the juices flowing! Thanks for the tips and sharing all this knowledge! It is most appreciated!
All great tips on what to avoid (basically, everything I was doing). I absolutely HATE talking about myself, so this part of the process has always been excruciating.
Thank you! I understand-talking about yourself can be really tough for many people. Using gratitude language especially in interviews can help you celebrate your accomplishments without feeling like you're bragging. For example, you could say, "I'm so grateful that I'm fluent in French because that's something I really plan to bring into my government career." It's all about framing your strengths positively and authentically. You've got this! 😊
Your videos have always stood out to me more than the others on YT. Going after pitching myself to a streetwear brand as their ecom. stylist. Going to try and use your videos to help get me there. Thank you.
Okay, we're blushing. Thank you, so much! Wishing you all the best for your new job search. Follow us on Instagram @badasscareers for more helpful tips too.
Perfect timing, I would love some help! I am an Australian who wants to move to France to teach English. I am qualified but I don’t have a visa yet. Should I write a cover letter in French, English or a mix of both? My French isn’t that strong yet so I would probably use Google translate and that doesn’t feel honest. Also, anyone have tips on where to find teaching jobs? Should I find schools and email them directly?
Hey there! Super exciting you are wanting to move to France to teach English! What an amazing career opportunity. This would come down to what language the hiring manager would be after! They should specify language in the job description. I'd love to help you on where to find a teaching job, but I am unable to direct you on this! Once you have a job in mind I can help you to Badass your brand, interview and even salary! Hope you loved the video and let me know if you have any other questions 😊
@@BadassCareers Hey Rosie, thanks for the reply!! ❤ I’ll keep all that in mind 😄 If I Googled some schools in France and directly emailed them about a job as an English teacher, would it be considered rude to write in English?
