The only thing samsung needs to do to really impress is to refine their software. They do not need 200 megapixel camera. They need to fix the shutter lag, tone down their over saturation and beauty mode. That's the only problem I have with Samsung phone.
Galaxy's oversaturation is pretty much gone already compared to how it looked like before. It became the Oppo's flagship phones feature:). Shatter lag issue is common for other smartphone makers, especially in light conditions different from ideal.
@@victorrumyantsev3718 no it is not. Compare to the pixel, the pixel color is more true to life than Samsung. Go take a picture of grass areas of both phones and compare. Shutter lag is still a problem with Samsung. I have both phones and not a fan of neither. I can be real about my criticism of both phones.
As for the Motorola background noise while recording Video. You have to activate (Crystaltalk AI) on the Motorola under Settings -> Sounds ( Standard has it only on for phone calls, not Video recording) . Otherwise a great Video

@@obbbob4911 it's still bad battery life. For example, the iphone 14 pro max has even brighter display, and is still much better with the battery. But I let people use what they want without making them sad, I although use a Pixel 7 Pro.
I've switched between many phones this year but ended up with the s22u again since it's such an overall great phone together with the iphone 14 pro max. But neither of these tested phones are bad in any way and I'd say it's all comes down to personal preference in the end and what is possible to afford of course.

I looked at all these. A good compromise is the Oppo Find X5 pro. Only the Xiaomi charges quicker and that doesn't have the aircharge that the Oppo has. The Oppo also has a built in gimble and the MariSilicon chip. Its probably the best at night or low light images. Super Vooc is a must have feature for me. So out of the phones offered here I'd go for the Xiaomi. (Its also got 8k video)
Very nice and high quality video. I have pixel 7 pro and I'm very happy with it, but video recording is what I use the least and definitely has some problems with that purple sky.
I am using s22 ultra for the past 6 months. And I am glad it is killing other phones which released recently. I am curious to see the s23 ultra and amazed to see how much it can be good at photography
Very interesting! 😃 I didn't always agree, but the dynamics in shadows of daylight photography of the Google are outstanding. I saw Google more or less on par with Samsung in 30x and 100x tele. I don't agree with the 200 MP of Motorola. I saw Samsung and Google ahead despite the numbers on paper, except in the blue vase where Motorola was absolutely top. 😉
So since February there is not always a phone to dethrone the Samsung S22 at the top of the camera, let's hope that in February 2023 the S23 comes to do it
I don't know if he knows, but the 12s ultra has colour changing and he could change it towards what he likes. It's auto for Xiaomi to do photos like that, you have to change it that's all.
If you check newer video then Samsung is last when compared to Xiaomi and google so it seems like he use subjective scoring to make the phone he want win? Or is it because 23U is coming and it is safe to make 22U lose badly?
Great comparison really. Disappointed much with this Xiaomi's good-for-nothing so-called "Ultra" camera's Pics due to low details, soft and even blurry pics compared to other phones mostly!
Google won for me .. as far as I know most people just shoot wide photo in auto mode and goggle came out on top. My gallery have 9k+ photos taken with my phone but I am gonna say 80 percentage of the photos are in wide with auto mode. 15 percentage with ultra wide and 4 percent zoom or close up photos and the remaining 1 is for portrait.

I don't no why but high megapixel cameras give best long exposure pics of stary sky. I have a 108 mp camera 300 dollar phone and it can click night sky, long exposure pics better than some flagships.
Anytime it was close between Samsung and other phone he give Samsung maximum points but not the same for the rest . One example that stood out was the video. Google better cancelation , Xiaomibetter clarity but Samsung still got maximum points for not having as good noise cancelation and the sound was lil low and doesn't have the clarity of Xiaomi
A banger video! All I just want to say is that all the following smartphones have fantastic cameras and all come in the same price range; we can’t even decide who’s better at first glance. Any of these smartphones will satisfy you if you own one, but still, differences are differences, no matter how small they are.
Only problem I have with these type of comparisons is that each phone has its own colour science which has nothing to do with what you can do with photo in post. And considering that android have the pro modes where you can adjust the image prior to shooting means that the images in the videos are stock software...no indication what the cameras can actually do. Perhaps this is a review for those that just want to point and shoot. I'm that case people like that will never actually get the most out of their camera.

This has gotten to a point where it doesn't matter what you buy,just get the one that you see infront of you,coz when Samsung came out all the guys said it's the best ever,3 months later,it's bad,how?and this gadgets are not cheap, and they now only focus on cameras more than they are phones
I don't know, I think this is not a good video. Some photos in the comparison are sharp while others are clearly blurred and not taken precisely, the picture in front of the tree with the sun has way different shadows (first picture face is clean, second half of the face has a huge shadow in it), and regarding the front camera, you apparently didn't make use of any of the settings of the phones. The Xiaomi comes with enough sliders and even a pro mode to dial in the correct light, so too bright pictures are actually an user error.
I would have given google the top point for the second video, the sea side video.... It's adjustments were smooth compared to the others who were jittering while you were moving your hands

Good video, one major thing lacking. I'm a pixel user, currently using the 4. One of the biggest things for me was ease of use. I'm a big fan of pro mode which is no longer on pixels. I've tried pixel, had Samsung's, and last tried 11 pro max. My biggest gripe and salute to pixel, 99% of the time I can quickly open the pixel and almost instantly hey a good of not great shot in any lighting. Both apple and Samsung were slow, blurry etc if in anything other then great lighting. Any of them took great pics when manually adjusting. If I'm in a situation that I want to set up the photo, ok, but the pixel just works. Can't wait to try out the 7 pro. Thanks for the video. Other note, even though the s22 ultra had zoom, in video the pixel 4 comes close when zooming especially for being over 3 years old. The other other thing that happened is the s22 got very hot when doing anything over a minute or two
