The sharpening on the Samsung is crazy. They should really dial down on the oversharpening.
honestly, I think it ruins the overall quality of the photo as soon as you look closer

You can reduce image sharpening in camera settings in samsung

@@katerinabrave2980 i think you are new user of samsung because samsung have an app camera assistant where u can enable and disable auto hdr and picture softening and quick tap shutter, etc
I am using xiaomi 14 for almost 14-15 days it is the best compact ohone and very impressive phone ❤️

@@bking82 I had it first 4 days .. but the frequency of the fog showing up is getting lesser .. and then its gone on its own after 1 week of usage.. atleast for me

Been using X14 for almost 2 months now. And I am impressed. The photos don't look like taken from a smartphone, so I prefer it.

Samsung is greeny, not warmer
If Xiaomi’s main len doesn’t fog up, it would be way worthy than Samsung.
Every ip68 mobile phone has lens fogging problem（including iphone huawei xiaomi samsung .etc..）. Because water vapor can pass IP68 protection (water cannot). Therefore, water vapor will condense into water droplets under high temperature differences.
I have collected a lot of evidence pictures and I can send them to you if you want.
Does s24 have the april update? And generally what is the update situation on both phones? Excellent video btw, thank you.
Samsung was still on the March update at the time of filming and Xiaomi is on HyperOS 1.0.14.0.UNCEUXM
The Samsung is better for video I think and the Xiaomi is better for photos
May I have a question? Is there a reliable way, how to get from Galaxy S23 pictures without too much sharpening and saturation? Do RAW or 50 megapixel picture format help to get natural looking picture?
I haven't experimented too much, but I'd imagine RAW files will be much less processed yeah

7 Years of Tech Development , you'll only see the processor being just aitt later .. so , 7 Years is not a Plus for me
OneUI is clean .. I know .. but HyperOS is manageable , what's NOT manageable is the 25 Watt charging on the Samsung ..oh lord.. 4000mAh battery and yet it took me like 1 Hour and 15 minutes or more to be fully recharged .. not to mention Xiaomi lasted 1+ hours more Screen on Time
Got the Xiaomi , had a few encounters with ads which can be turned off so its alright .. but the PLUS on this phone compensate the software issue I had ... also the camera quality and options it had suits my taste .. so , easy Win for Xiaomi ..atleast for me

Dewy on xiaomi 14 also here in Indonesia. The hdr is bad, blown out on direct sunlight. The notifications bug is still there, disable battery optimization, and lock the apps running in the background but still happens. This is a bug from 6 or 7 years ago. Whoever said they will fix the hdr blown out on camera, naahh, I've been using xiaomi flagship since mi 3, and yes, their software is garbage, there are no software differences between flagship or their $70 phone, smh

I noticed that the Samsung phones lose the impression of 3 dimensionality that is on the other. I don't really like the over digitized impressions of the samsungs and moreso the pixels. Xiaomi is not sold here.

Hard to say. I usually prefer the Xiaomi photos but theres the lens fogging issue and Samsung has a better portrait effect. Samsung better in video shooting, better mics, better slow mo and low light stability.

In the UK, where this youtuber is from they are the same price so you don't pay more for Samsung branding. Basically in Europe Xiaomi is priced similarly to Apple and Samsung. In Asia it is cheaper but for those in Europe prices are around the same so you don't really pay extra for any of the brands
I like the xiaomi photos. They are not having this annoying green tint like you are in fallout universe.

Picture Quality leans towards DSLR style instead of typical Smartphone Camera that have the Sharpened look post-processing.. also , the charging speed on the xiaomi is PERFECT.. once I forgot to charge my phone , I woke up and see 11% left on the battery , I hook up the charger , taking a bath , had a breakfast aaand the battery's full .. I cannot live without this fast charging anymore .. its too essential and great
AND , it comes WITH the phone in the box along with the case and screen protector

@@victorochidi5558I had 2 Xiaomi 14s and it is true that it is a very good device but the issue of the camera fogged up in low temperatures made me request the return of both, the same thing that happens here in the video 4k and 30 FPS, I am waiting for the S24 that arrives tomorrow because it is not worth having a Xiaomi 14 with that error of the camera that is condensed with the video recording, and I repeat that the phone is very good but for the price and with that failure it is not profitable and even less so in a phone that has just been released on the market
@@daalldavid very true, I never had the issue but my friend did and there was a fix online and he used it and it has never fogged up . Issue was from internal moist I think from glue or something. But it's fixable. I agree with that amount it should be almost flawless and not with something as annoying as the fog issues
@@victorochidi5558 I did all the tests on both terminals without a solution, I put them to record for an hour without the SIM tray, I put them in my daughter's hair dryer for a few minutes also without the tray SIM, I did everything recommended on pages like HTC mania, Telegram channels and without a solution, every time I recorded videos or took photos in low weather it fogged up, and it's a shame because The phone is very good and has very good hardware and size, if it had not been for that error I would have kept it honestly
