Cleared CFA Level 3! Thank you Joe. Just coming back to the resources I have used/watched and thanking people who have directly or indirectly helped me pass, no matter how small the help. ❤
I have to do L1 and L2 twice to pass....L3 looks like a diff ball game...plus I am 37 this yr......I'll think about it over the weekend on when to take
would you mind i ask a quick question, for questions to justify why 1 out of 3 statements are correct, do we need to explain why other 2 statements are wrong?
Congrats on completing the program! For Level 3, how many months did you take to prepare? And about how many hours a day? I know the CFAI info can really be a whole lot so I'm curious how long it took you
Hi Joe, Thanks for this video. Can you help me with the grading rubrics which you have mentioned in the video. Also, some of the previous questions which CFA Institute has shared with everyone. Can I find these 2 documents on the study portal or the institute website.
Hi Joe, I am planning to appear in Level 3 after a huge break of 4.5 years. Could you please guide me on how to plan accordingly. Additionally, I am concerned that the concepts in levels 1 and 2 may be tested again. Would it be sufficient for me to read the CFA level 3 curriculum without going over Level 1 and 2 curriculum again? Considering 6 months for upcoming exam, this seems to be most stressful point for me while registering for Level 3. Please guide
Hi Nabeel, everything on the exam will be in the Level 3 curriculum, no need to review levels 1 and 2 unless it’s for your own understanding. My best advice is to do all the practice questions in the CFA curriculum and mock exams, and practice answering the essay questions concisely. Good luck!
@Joe Maule, CFA Thank you for motivating me and providing me with useful information. I have access to CFA curriculum. Will practicing those questions be enough to prepare? Would it be better to look for extra practice questions online. If yes, please suggest some useful links.
I have my exam after 6-7 weeks. I have 300 online questions left to do and 6 mocks. I already did 1 mock and scored 36% on it. I've never gotten such low score on any mock I've done from previous levels. Im finding myself completely lost on how to answer the short answer questions. I don't know what to do anymore. I've really lost motivation. The short answers questions are really tricky. I find myself only able to solve and review on avg. 20 questions a day. Those are mixed short answer and essay. I dont have time anymore and I'm really panicking. Please give me tips and advise on what to do.
That's awesome, good luck! Sounds like you've gotten through the content, now I'd just make sure you've practiced answering essay questions quickly and concisely.
Given the size of the curriculum Do you recommend using Kaplan with CFAI EOC and case’s questions? My exam is in 5 months and I don’t believe I’ll be able to finish let alone review the material due to its sheer volume. I am considering using Kaplan and cfai questions just like I did in l2
@@JoeMaule yea I mean The curriculum is huge So far I finished behavioral finance and I am almost done with economics and their questions I am so behind So do you believe I can do it? 😂😅
Good luck everyone. Let's finish strong with Level 3!

About 2 hours a day for 5-6 months. Some days less, some more. Increased it a lot during the last month for the final push.

Hi Joe, just finished my 2nd read + all blue boxes and EOC questions, twice. I only have 3 weeks for practice. What are my chances?

If you’re pressed for time I think that’s a reasonable approach
