In daytime 220 is perfect. In the evening i must mix 120 and 220..to lighten 220 a lil bit. This is the only foundation for me that perfectly match. Even dior warm olive still too yellow for me 😅😅
I use the same tone natural beige 220 maybelline in dream urban cover, and soft tan 228 when I’m tanned and both work amazing for me! The best ones so far. I also use 300C anastasya Beverly Hills luminous foundation and 2W Dior forever skin glow ❤️ Ps still trying to find out rather I’m warm, neutral or cool haha all my life I thought I was warm, but I’ve been struggling with finding my shade, either it’s too yellow, too orange or just not right for some reason. Depending on the brand I’m warm, cool or neutral 😂 Loved your channel ❤️

Orange and yellow colour looks good on me so as navy blue and dark green. Gold jwellery compliments me. My Mac foundation shade is NC25 but that doesnt compliment me. Maybelline 128 makes me grey huda beauty 330N latte is slightly orange for me, hence makes my face muddy...... I am having a hard time in finding foundation.

Ashley Clark yes I have :) the shade I use for Fenty is 290 warm olive I believe! It’s one of the first videos I did - a short review on Fenty:) If you go to they website or Sephora website, the descriptions will specifically say “warm olive” on the shades with warm olive tones.
Hi nice to meet a fellow olive undertone! Mine is leaning towards warm olive, medium skintone and I look perfect in Maybelline fit me with the shade 128. I always thought that I have warm undertone, but somehow yellow undertone looks too brown to me. Maybelline fit me 220 it is too greyish to me
my natural skintone (the parts that dont get sun like shoulders/thighs/torso) is basically a pure olive beige color and its insane how hard it is to find foundations and concealers but especially pressed powders. jfc

Hey absolutely! I am on the same boat as you but I had some help from others explaining Merriam styles to me. I can definitely put a video up and try to explain as much as I can :). Hmm... I’m not sure cause yellow doesn’t work on me... the only possible answer I have is maybe you either are yellow undertone or you have really warm radiant olive skin- which means you are on the warmer side of the olive spectrum which Merriam styles explained in her videos. Thank you :) I actually just box dyed my hair and I used the ash blonde colour to have that chocolate brown colour on me.

I own 3 ex1 shades and none is perfect on me. One is too orange, other is too yellow, and another looks closest to me just a bit too light. Was a losding battle for me with ex1 unfortunately. I'll still use them up but I'll look for another after.

If you are in India and have access to PAC foundations, I would suggest trying them out. They make olive skin tone Indian skin tone friendly foundations. Unfortunately, I am not in India and therefore I cannot get my hands on it now but you should def check it out.
This morning I used that trick of adding my green primer to a neutral light foundation to change its tone. OMG it worked. It WORKED!
