Great to see Inspire respond...let's go 2 for 2 I just purchased the FT2...I almost purchased the Force USA...but decided to go with Inspire...the wife, who works out religiously, wanted the Force USA because of the leg press capabilities...I won this argument... but, If you guys will...can you have your Inspire engineers come up with a leg press plate/attachment for the Smith bar...I guarantee it will be a huge million dollar seller.
The FT2 Functional Trainer is available to buy online at Orbit Fitness > www.orbitfitness.com.au/store/gym-systems/multi-stations/inspire-ft2-functional-trainer-free-orbit-flat-incline-bench-ft2obb1101?sku=FT2_OBB1101
I've been searching through all the functional trainers... Force USA monster series, ultra max x305 trainer, brut force PTX, and so on...this training is crazy good on comparisons. The neat footprint and size, short smith machine bar, no weight plates need, no Olympic bar needed as you don't need a manual rack, the changing of the ratio is insane...no need to have to add plates on top of the weight stacks...hell man no need for 150 kilos of weight plates period. Plus the cables don't bottom out so you can do every full range of motion. The only disadvantages are that it doesn't have jammer arms or the core trainer attachment. Need to clarify 1 issue. The weight stacks are only 72.5 kilos each side. When put onto the 1:1 ratio...if you were benching say 45 kilos on each side, does that equate to a 'real' 90 kilos of resistance?
@@ryanbillytate1687 Can you elaborate on this? I can't wrap my head around 2x45 becoming 160? I figure it has to do with the routing of the pulley system but is there a formula? Would be nice to be able to somewhat compare weight to normal benchpress. Also would you say that this machine (for a man of your size) can fully substitute a large standalone rack for squatting?
It's pretty nice but still need my rack to do free barbell bench, incline etc..don't wanna rely on smith machine for all this exercises:( this looks the same as the brute force one, jacked up and french fitness which comes with all kinds of attachments and Jammer Arms but a little cheaper
Apologies Chuck I missed your question. The only maintenance is wiping down the guide rods the carriages move up and down on with a dry rag and a spray off non flammable silicone spray.
Both the Ft1 and FT2 are versatile. The weight stacks are the same. However there are 6 more pulleys and a smith machine on the FT2 plus the bench with preacher curl attachment are often sold as a package on the FT2. If you have the means go the FT2.
So is there any advantage of this over the French fitness with comes with jammer arms and more attachments plus can be used as a rack, dip attachment etc...and it's cheaper? Just curious cause iam looking to buy something
Debating between the titan selectorized lat pull down plus costco ftx OR just combine both with the scs inspire or maybe the ft2. I already have a rack.
If your buying one of these make sure you actually use it instead of having that spur moment of “oh I will train” and then it’s catching dust!! If this is used properly with the right diet your body will be outstanding as it hits them smaller muscles tucked deep within the body!!
Hi there. How do you like that machine? I was thinking of buying one but they have scs smith cage system. It has the free weight smith machine. I’m having a hard time choosing between. One of them Can you tell me why you chose this one over the other one? Can you do exercises on this one that you can’t on the other one? I would appreciate ay info and help possible. I am really stuck and confused on which one to get.
Hey there, the main difference between the SCS and FT2 is that you're able to load plates on the SCS meanwhile the FT2 is a complete cable system. FT2 also comes with a few more accessories!
Smith machine I don't know, benching or squting on it nope maybe other exercises but to rely just on smith machine for your Maine lifts I don't think so..nice functional trainer though
I had a small problem with handles on my m3 6 years back. Called to us, they send me a different set from US to Holland with no trouble at al. I just installed my FT2 now and sold my M3. Both amazing built machines.
You are very right. However Inspire Fitness paid me $250 prize money for this video and hosted it on their site hence it getting 30K views and 200 likes. I agree, the shop I work for has no carpet and is not a studio. It was shot on a 5 year old phone too with no tripod. I appreciate your criticism though. Thank you
Best home gym ever. So smooth and hits every body part. So easy to change exercises. Use it everyday. Had it for two years now and not one issue yet.
Im about to buy one. Are you still happy with yours?
I’ve owned this gear for a month and am blown away at how fun it is. Lov working out with my whole family. Best thing I’ve ever bought
Thank you for doing this quickly and efficiently!😁😍

cant she use the smith bar as a leg press?
@@markjones9479 you can...it's just you're pushing against a slim bar with your feet...it's kind of awkward.
My father has one of these and I bought the scs. Truly great equipment
Awesome machine, been a user for 3 years 👍💪💪💪💪. A little wear & tear now but it’s all good👍🇸🇬
Agreed Gabriel. I love Inspire's products. The FT2 functional trainer is the pride of the range in my opinion. Thanks for commenting.
I’ve just bought one, so hopefully I will do the time on it and stay feet, thanks for the fast demo
Congrats! I just came across this looking for a cable/pully home gym system and this seems amazing. I'm going to grab one too I think

Phenomenal review. Nicely done, sir!!
Ow wow, I appreciate your kind words Roger.
Practically speaking, what kind of maintenance is typically required of this type of system and at what approximate frequency and cost?
Apologies Chuck I missed your question. The only maintenance is wiping down the guide rods the carriages move up and down on with a dry rag and a spray off non flammable silicone spray.
Just bought one of these, hopefully the juice is worth the squeeze Ryan.
Haha I love that. "Hopefully the juice is worth the squeeze" How are you finding your FT2 Ace?
I have the M3 (about 2008) ..considering the FT1 or FT2 ..which is the most versatile of the group?
Both the Ft1 and FT2 are versatile. The weight stacks are the same. However there are 6 more pulleys and a smith machine on the FT2 plus the bench with preacher curl attachment are often sold as a package on the FT2. If you have the means go the FT2.
thanks much..I did and LOVE it. Much better/more versatile machine than the M3 and many more options than the F1.
Love this machine!

Do you any assembly videos? I need to assemble the squat bar and attached the lower/upper flanges.

how does it compare with the ftx?
Very impressed by your presentation. The trainer is quite compact too. Do you sell this in india, if so then please let me know contact details.
Hello Sudhir, Thanks so much. I'm not sure if the Inspire FT2 is available in India, sorry. I believe someone there would import it.

Agreed these are too lovely to purchase and not show the love of using it.
Can you hip thrust with it??
Do you even need the shroud?
I was going to get an M3 and FT2, think I just need the FT2 package. What’s your thoughts Stevo.
Hi Kev, The FT2 package will mean you will not need anything else ever. You are only limited by your imagination.
can you adjust the leg pads for leg curls? thx
