Just want to add a clarification here:
"Marko is not "crush" as the video states, Marko goes by the username "marox" on both the subreddit and Discord.
Crush is a former dev and separate individual that for some reason people still believe was the lead developer, which was never the case." - SORRY I MADE MORDHAU MISINFORMATION LOL. A lovely reddit mod so kindly imformed me I was in fact wrong, that man is not crush, I can NOT believe Google would lie like this ....(lol)
I've hit peak #mordhau nerd and made a Mordhau retrospective. Hope some people enjoy this, it was a lot of fun to work on. Shout out to all the people featured in this video, there are a lot. I will have a section below with relevant @ 's and links.

I recently got back into Mordhau thanks to friends and videos like yours. It can be really discouraging whenever you just want to try to relearn the game and get better but you always end up against level 200 plus players that kill you before you can even land a blow on them, but at the end of the day I'm just role-playing and having fun before worrying about getting good
🩷🩷 glad to be a part of that ! I know that feeling for sure, but whenever I stopped worrying about “getting good” and just having fun, that’s when mordhau is the best :)
Great video! The amount of time I've spent laughing my ass off at goofy and surprising things has been wonderful. The climb from getting my head cronched in every other second to only once a minute has been rewarding. Mordhau will only be dead to me whenever another game can truly replace it, and that's certainly not happened. It actually really says something that people are disappointed in the lack of content or support for the comp scene. It means there's a base game there that people want to get more out of.
But there is always more. FLAK's new servers are great. Demon Horde has been great. This game keeps me logging back on.

Duke of york servers are fun, but they have a very weird (somewhat cult like) relationship with stalin or so I've heard

Honestly thought I'd never see another mordhau video to be completely honest, level 226 and no intent on stopping. Even after five years it's still a game I genuinely enjoy despite all its many flaws. And I appreciate what you said to new players, if any are reading this do what you think is fun, don't listen to toxic sweats

I play off and on and it’s definitely not dead, community can suck at times though.
I remember I was on a duel server once, and one player who was 16 - 0 was talking trash to someone who was like 3 - 15. They fought and the lower k/d player immediately won, he typed into chat “sleep”. Never forgot how hard it made me laugh, and I am usually always laughing when playing.

So true! I’ve kinda started growing away from mordhau personally since the main reason I kept playing was to be kind in chat make new friends etc but that was taken away from me over a mistake and now I’m permamuted and the mods just don’t care, I’m basically an ant to them. But that’s just me I know the game is def fun for everyone else and ay that’s good enough for me. But to me it just seems like a waste of 1700+ hours

Некоторые хотят общаться с людьми, с которыми они встречаются только в мордхау, а другие наслаждаются чувством превосходства над другими игроками.
На конкурентной сцене и на различных серверах подобных сообществ ваше положение и уровень уважения к вам зависят от вашего умения играть. Для некоторых это может стать открытием, но после 200-го уровня требуется в 10 раз больше опыта, чтобы поднять следующий уровень. Поэтому 210-й уровень мог бы быть 300-м, если бы не увеличение требуемых очков. Теперь живите с этим знанием.😆Если вы видите игрока с уровнем 250 на сервере, знайте, что на самом деле его уровень соразмерен 700. Лично я знаю одного игрока с уровнем 275, который мог бы иметь почти 1000-й уровень, если бы не поднятие планки требуемых очков опыта для прокачки.

Damn... 75% of my steam friendlist is made by Mordhau or former Mordhau players. And this means that are more than 100 people.
With mine, that’s like at least 115 average players :) everything will be ok after all!
@@LILBeeyt00 dunno pal, every time i reinstall mordhau i get some new ppls to play with since the majority of those who are in my friend list don't play no more. Like on 100< ppls that i friendlisted from mordhau, only 7 are still playing and only 4 are weekly playing.

I think a lot of the players left in mordhau are pretty cult like and are willing to stick with the game for a few more years but a lot of the people left are split between more toxicish and rude veterans and the chill veterans, and the toxic ones are no doubt pushing out the more chill relaxing guys. I think what can keep the game alive is players creating mini-games and teasing other players on servers. Sparking some sort of slight joy for people to remember why they hopped on, especially duel servers. I really do try to do dumb things like placing .food in a random parkour path, or getting chased by like 7 ppl. But even I'm slowly getting pushed away. I do like the new demon horde update and hope that the modders make some cool stuff out of it. Although, most of the bigger guys in the mod community have already left. Great vid btw (*_*)!!

Ngl doe, my favorite goofy outfit are the referee one, I remember 2 years ago coming across one organizing duels on a random server and it was so fun.
well rip chivs 2 i mean i still play it but when i checked the reviews of chiv 2 and got mixed reviews which i belive everyone is quiting cuz its now boring this game is but devs promise to add a custom server to allow modding the servers with some mods as they did with first chiv, but mordhau is actually a better game in my opinion but i still suck at it with chambering and getting fainted all the time which its gotta be lots of learning to do, oh yeah and not gotta get used of those people who using the dwarf perk cuz its kind of stupid in my opinion just saying.
