in the video where you trained liked a pro climber for a month, you tried a muscle up and couldn't do it but then the coach gave you some techniques and the you where able to do it right after. Can you make a video about what he told you
@@loganwolf4326 hey, Tom and I would like to put something together. It's a challenge for us to find the time at the moment, but we'll try and make it happen.
24:22 "...so I'm gonna rest for a bit. And while I'm resting, I'm gonna try a problem..." Louis...Louis, that's not resting. That's not how resting is supposed to work. :D
@@astairoid4743 Especially in a sport like climbing, where you would also e.g. talk about resting on a good hold along a route, yeah. He just does it at a level that I can't even touch yet. That's more what had me chuckle and inspired the joke.
Moonboarding looks so cool. As a beginner, it is super impressive if you watch this video and then go to your climbing gym and check out how steep the moonboard actually is and how bad (for a beginner) the holds are.
Having a cut out section at the bottom of the moon board is a pretty nice advantage for those shitty low starts, you have much more room than if the mat was flush to the wall. Wish my gym had that!
Finally, someone who does pushups the right way! lol Seriously though, great video. Just knocked out my first v6 yesterday! Looking forward to getting on your level soon!
To be honest, I don't feel even worth enough of touching a wall after seeing this flawless performance of Louis in the first half of the video. I mean when he starts to cling it looks like his body weighs as much as a feather. His body control is stunning. The video itself was great. I am probably the 8567th person to comment this but maybe you should look for a new mic
Everyone's talking about the click bait title but if you actually know anything about the moonboard you would've understood the title meant that it was Alex Megos' moonboard problems. Easy misconception I guess, but a more clear title certainly would have been a mouthful. "Louis VS Moonboard problems set by Alex Megos" doesn't have a nice ring to it lol
That last problem has got to be somewhere around 7c+ or maybe 8a I would say. Haven't tried it (don't have a moonboard at my gym), but it looks hella hard.
I've climbed for over 25 years and never yet been into a climbing wall, never even set foot in one yet alone pulled on them. My issue is that it looks truly boring as hell, a bit like weight lifting at the gym, which I find mind numbingly boring and what I have likened it to in my head therefor dismissed it as a goer for me. However there is no getting away from the fact that it does seem to appeal to many young folk. Now I'm just figuring that there are many young folk who have never bothered to get out onto actual rock and had they started on rock and in the natural environment then they too would probably find this climbing indoors surrounded by hoards of other people mind numbingly boring as well. I also figure that todays kids probably have their buzz-ometers set far lower than we had back in the day. So what say you, is this the case? Can rock climbers go through their rock climbing life without ever spending time at crags these days. I can see how it morphed into a winter or bad weather option, but today ti certainly seems there are many younger climbers that ONLY climb inside no matter what the weather. Infact I reckon many very good gym climbers could come unstuck and be completely out of their depth in the hills or even at a crag, it does seem completely alien with regards to real rock climbing, hold being marked out, no real fall consequence etc.
Apologies for the audio!! Technical difficulties... new Rode mic has been ordered. Thank you for your patience!
Haha I was going to let you know about the mic. Glad you already have it sorted!
Andrew MacFarlane no worries
So needed!
Gonna check around for the next vid. This one I'll still be unable to enjoy, sadly.

@@tls_9920 East!
I could totally do a V16 if it were underwater.

I call it an active rest and reckon it to be a sensible concept

Louis Parkinson is my spirit animal. Absolutely crushes it in this session.
Louis was tearing it up! Really fun to watch. Wish my gym had a Moonboard now
I do enjoy watching Louis climb. His keenness and enjoyment are infectious. Thank you.

18:13 a wild han solo being frozen in Karbonite
Great video and editing, as eper usual! The underwater-filter you‘ve put on the voice recordings really grows on you quickly ;P
It’s funny to watch this 5 years later

Pinching that hold on the moonboard was the most impressive part
Nice Video, as always. But I guess you did something wrong with the audio😂
I'm going to climb the highest mountain in the UK and throw my mic off the top of it!
Try "One Move Wonder 8A" set by Alex Megos, I think it suits your style 😊

Felipe Camargo did the style first problem... Took about 3 sessions I think
20:05 thought his shoulder muscle was twitching like crazy
Would be great to see Lewis do some Parkour
I'll see if he's up to trying it 😆
Love the videos, keep em up!
audio?
Anyone know the brand of trousers Louis is wearing? Thanks!
Boulder Denim 👍🏻
Damn, that audio sucks, but louis is pretty cool and nice warm up :D
Im definitely not envious of Louis in any other way...but my god would i love to feel what its like to have that natural bodyweight strength for a day
Is this a subtle dig at his carefree nerdy persona?
Didn't know Gune from Titan AE was such a climbing god

I can’t find little morgana on the moon board app!!!
Who designs a climbing gym that has q climbing wall a foot and a half away from a wall of windows...
Believe it or not, the moonboard at my gym is even closer to the window LMAO!
Nce click bait there. Very smart
Too... much... noice... reduction!
Audio fix please 😂

Hey, u should try new gyms like the hangar :)
Wooow really strong.
God these cheesy songs kill me...
*BEAST*
Horrible audio
Where is Alex Megos?
Is this a serious question... try reading again
It says that he is trying Mego's moonboard problems.
Cool video, but click bait title not very much appreciated :/

Its copyrighted rip
Aa ok sorry
