Like the other commenter said, the jlpt isn't the end all be all. I've actually mostly ignored the jlpt because it feels to me like the jlpt is mostly designed for those going and living in the country, so the speech they cover would just mostly be in regular life kind of things. Things like magic probably aren't covered super well in it, while things like regular stores and jobs would be covered to no end.
Yay for more N1! Feel like I've seen this one quite a bit in VN's like Steins;Gate but I've always shrugged it off not really knowing what it meant! edit: just so happens that 1h after watching this video, I coincidentally encountered this grammar playing Tsukihime: 「 物質という物質、粒子という粒子。」 :)
First of all, a big thank you for making such a video. I also have a request: please make more videos like this. They are very helpful for N1 level and easy to understand.🙏🙏
I never really understood the criteria behind the placements of the pieces of grammar in the JLPT. This one's so easy, and seems to have a pretty applicable range of uses. Is it because it's particularly uncommon or something? I'd place this on the N3 if it were up to me.
first piece of N1 grammar.. feels like the beginning of the end
There is much more grammar outside the N levels that is used frequently you will have to learn

Sonic has N1 language lol
Someday it would be rad for someone to make a frequency list for grammar. It’s a huge blind spot for learning Japanese.
Finally N1! すばらしい!
いう is one of the most tricky verbs in the language. This grammar point covers a useful collocation. Looking forward to more 😁
I didn't realized you have content in this format as well, it's pretty clean to undertand grammar like this!!

OMG YESSSS, N1 video!!
I'm N5......いきましょう😂😂😂😂
oh hey i just saw that grammar in my anki card a couple days ago, cool
Is 今度という今度 a bit like 今度こそ? It feels sort of similar but there might be a big difference I'm missing.

Someone could please say to me where I can watch animes with legend in 日本語 ?
Animelon
Damm... there's been a lot of people not being forgiven in this one... kinda funny.
Im not remotely close to N1 yet but this video is well made enough to understand the concept as a N5. Not sure when I would see it used IRL though.
