Travel beyond with Ethereal on a back-breaking journey to some of the less explored places in Ladakh. This time leave Zanskar behind and reach the villages called Dah and Hanu (Hanoo). These are situated near the Batalik region and this area is also known as the Aryan Valley. It is called so because it is believed that many hundreds of years ago, these people came to Ladakh from central Asia as soldiers of Alexander's army and stayed back in this region.

That's the most I enjoyed on this trip. People were calm and happy. I felt so relaxed, no worries of anything when around those people and at this place Dah.. 😌🧘

We visited Dah Hanu 5 years back, and stayed with the lady shown @ 5:07! Visited the school with her grandkids. It was the most memorable part of our whole trip! Beautiful video!

Some of these are in Nepal , uttarakhand and Himachal . however I am not sure if all these are same as those in ladakh but they look very similar .And may be these are same as the three region are closer to ladakh and migration is a thing .
Wonderful video. The best part what i liked is that people use of have fun, laughter and enjoyment. Its now we have so much of challenges, which are of jobs, exams etc. The reason why i wrote wonderful, because this video showed the traditions and culture of people living in a different location on mother Earth. Learnt a lot. Nice videos - my personal thoughts.

“Aryan” does not indicate Race. It indicates a state of character, or culture. And opposite of Aryan is NOT DRAVIDIAN. It is “Mleccha”. Our scriptures categorize those people North of the Vindhyas as the PANCHA GOUDA, and South of the Vindhyas as the PANCHA DHRAAVIDAS.

Open racism against ladakhi(Mongol race) by these people but in Drass the sunni dard/sheena never show any racism to the balti mongol people who are Shi'a. The is the difference of thinking.

The descendants of these people are found in hilly states of India and West Nepal. The cap wearing by women, their hindi accent, way of talking, singing, dancing is very similar to Khasan people of Nepal. They have also culture of marrying the brother's wife if he is dead it's still followed in Nepal.

I just wanted to know how their language sounds like all this time. I'm from Gilgit, Pakistan, and speak shina (dardic language) that's why I was just curious to know which language they speak but tbrh their urdu/hindi accent is completely different than ours.

Aryans never looked like Nordics, because they're originated from Siberia and settled down in the region between South Russia and central Russia later invaded Afghanistan. They're mixed with Dravidian and different small tribes. The first script they brought from there was Sharada script and the descendant of Sharada script is Tankri script.
Typical aryans looked like them even in our portraits, Aryan are shown having very long nose and small eyes with less facial hair. The other traits of brown skin, hairy body, bigger eyes and wavy hair came from Dravidians to Indians.

You guys need to update yourselves on “Aryans”. Historians have taken us for a ride a lot on the Aryan advent theory. Whoever wants to sound knowledgeable on Indian History starts by harping on the theme of Advent of Aryans. Historians are somehow infatuated with the idea of wars and invasions as essential to the march of civilizations. So they talk about Aryan Invasion, which seems to have suited political manipulators interested in turning Dalits against the sawarn Hindus for vote politics. But we find most of the sawarn caste Hindus dark of complexion. Maxmuller being a Sanskrit scholar and a prolific writer somehow floated the idea of Aryans as aliens from the cold west come to settle in India. One marvels how that genius scholar couldn’t bring himself to pose before a very pertinent question; how come the cow eating white race from cold regions became cow worshipers after settling in India. My take home tip from my study on this issue is that Aryans were native to India. Imported goods are super quality, but Aryans were definitely indigenous.
As for the people along the borders of the undivided India resembling westerners, that was because Alexander’s sudden demise called off his so called Great world conquest. Every soldier was relieved of his uniform and pips. Like they say a sailor has a wife in every port, jocundly signifying that those mercenary soldiers of the horse back era, once marooned in far off lands took a wife and settled wherever they were at that time. Their genes are seen proliferated in the families like the ones we see in this video.
So , happy news for us is, we didn’t come from anywhere. We are we , the Aryans, we have always been here.
