As a soldier, I was there in Ladakh from 2008 to 2010. Tangtse/chushul- Aug 2008 to Apr 2009, siachen -May 2009 to Feb 2010 and then again to Tangtse- Mar 2010 to Oct 2010. Even after more than a decade, still remember the events with date and places with names. Love from Kerala to all Ladakhis.
I used to imagine how beautiful it would have been when I saw my dad's old army photos in these locations but i just witnessed the beauty of it when i saw your videos. thank you so much.
Hey Tanya, this video is just amazing and heart touching. Your script, filming looks like very realistic ❤ I just can’t explain how I felt after watch this complete video without skipping a single minute.
Was on posts overlooking these villages way back in 1985-86, part of my winter tenure in South Siachen. No roads, no nothing. Foot sloggging and ponies was the only way around. The khurmani around Nubra river and the wild roses higher up the slopes made it a paradise in summer. Better the fragile eco systmen left that a way than swarmed and destroyed by tourism.
This video should get millions views .What a masterpiece. No one makes video like you do.nd that's what make u different. Absolutely loved it.More power nd love to u Tanya🤗💯🤍

Turtuk is also called Sub Sector Haneef in the memory of Captain Haneefuddin of Rajputana Rifles of the Indian Army who laid down his life in the Kargil War 1999 while defending Turtuk from Pakistani intruders. He was just 24 years old and was awarded Vir Chakra posthumously. 🇮🇳
Furthermore, his body could not be retrieved for over 40 days due to incessant firing by the Pakistani army. When the then COAS Gen.V.P.Malik(Retd.) communicated the army's inability to retrieve Capt. I have been to Ladakh region but not Turtuk and this has been on my bucket list for a long time!! After watching this clip I feel like I owe it to myself to go and visit this place!! Salute to the Indian Jawans protecting our nation and keeping us safe, day and night!! 🙏🙏🙏
Turtuk is a small place and I am so glad you went there, through your video I have been reminded of all the moments I spent there too 4 years ago. The number of apricot trees is mind boggling! (did you buy apricot oil? the villagers make it with their hands!) There's a mini-museum in Turtuk that is owned by one of the oldest families there that we were lucky to see. And you looked so pretty in the Balti dress! Love from France 💕
Love this blog of yours 💞 the vibe, the view, the satisfaction 🌼❣️ I'm not able to put my feelings in to words but thankyou cause most of us are not aware about such places n through your blogs we're able to know about such beautiful unknown places 💞🌼
My first time here. I am a Pakistani by birth and now live in USA. My parents were born in India, in Amritsar and I was born in Pakistan, while my children are born in USA. Your blog is excellent and you speak very well. My family lived only few miles away from Amritsar and my late father always liked to visit his birthplace and died with that desire. India and Pakistan are grown up countries and with still some border redistribution can unify the families and eradicate hatred and division. Few days ago, I had seen a similar video by a Pakistani living only few miles away from the border where your video was taken. Not a single word of hatred was uttered by him, and not a single word of hatred uttered by you. My generation has simply failed to bring love and peace between our two countries. It is your job, younger people, fresh from colleges, with vibrant faces and outlook to bring peace and happiness between them.
At the end of the day ,,were still human,, sharing this same land breathing this same air.,,i mean just look at this place is just so beautiful so why can't live peacefully???
Beyond beautiful Tanya 😍❤️ felt a sudden rush of disappointment when this video came to end, such a lovely Vlog and it's purity and simplicity at its best ✨ Thank you so much for this virtual heavenly tour 🤗❤️ Keep traveling, Keep inspiring ❤️
Wow a wonderful vlog... I am from Skardu and very nice to see our brothers in Turtuk and Tiakshi❤. When you tried Balti Dress you looks very very cute just like a Balti Girl. Thank you so much for this love❤ Love from Pak ❤
Dear tanya dii ,this video is so amazing and the way you narrate the story is way beyond words ,even being a ladakhi i feel that the tourist should be like you guys who doesn't harm the fragile nature of our beautiful ladakh and aware others others about it .yeah this is beautiful! ,eagerly waiting for the next video💕🙌
Dear Tanya, just a wise suggestion to you.... Being an army brat I know what is the importance of an border area, land and it's vicinity and i don't think you have to show the bunkers area, location etc it may or may not be safe... I like your content and nowdays many of the the traveller are doing same mistakes.. So I request you to not cover out any border area describing bunkers and all✌ peace out
I always thought one wasn't allowed to cover such areas. Agree with you definitely. Love her content, but maybe such info shouldn't be shared. I could be wrong though. Definitely open to hearing more thoughts on it.
@@ronitroy6942 brother in common words I will explain you, bunker or camp always made at that harsh and difficult terrain so to watch the eyes on enemy movement and activities and vice versa the enemy can't see you easily and if in war situation, (if arise) the first step taken by enemy is to locate ur bunker or camp site and destroy it ASAP....
@@-o-1793 no bro, she is educated , I think she didn't know about the national security guidelines, international relation ....the videos that we see in tv of borders and documentary they have the legal rights and permission so what to cover....In fact for just shake of content she not intended do this.. But just unaware of the security concern, I hope she will edit that part as in the end of the day she is influencer cums content creator...
@@LordSuuYak as an army kid myself, I sincerely thank you for the concern. But as somebody who was actually on ground shooting the video, let me assure you that the shots are from locations where the mountains are clearly observable and quite on the interior of our own land and are edited into the video in random order, where not all are from even the same location. It has been added to the video for representation purpose, to show how difficult border monitoring and the life of soldiers actually is, and not really to reveal the location. It is almost impossible for somebody to pinpoint the location because they are not actual coordinates on a map. Additionally, some images are actually of Pakistani bunkers as well, which are just in plain sight and can be observed from our side using binoculars. :) So I assure you, this video was not edited to create any trouble. 😊
Wow 🤩 Ladakh is just on another level 😍 Thank you Tanya Ma'am, due to your videos we are also inspired to visit these villages atleast once in our lifetime😃

It's a lovely vLog Tanya, you have always been inspiring to me since you started as I believe keeping it authentic is something which really makes people connect more to the place. More power, keep shining and keep us inspired 🌸

Informative and beautiful to watch. Several questions: what is the population of the area; how do the natives survive, source of income, does the area have electricity, who and how do they make electricity in this area; how do they get around?
Bro come to Tyakshi turtuk and see 😂 Turtuk is sub Block of Nubra valley which has 6 villages Turtuk have nearly 5k And Tyakshi have 1200. Source of Income - Govt. Services ,Army, Tourism, selling fruits like apricot and walnuts and vegetables. Yeah 24/7 from last year in summers and 5:30pm to 11pm in winters.
Hi Tanya, your vlog is awesome I enjoyed a lot music & scenery was good. Tanya I was shocked when I saw Indian bunker's. I think it's not a good idea to showing up Army bunkers publicly. I saw some other UA-camr's they weren't allowed to take pictures or making video's of Army area. Even we shouldn't show our bridge on video's. I want to request to you If possible please edit your video & skip the bunkers part? Keep it up. Best wishes from Tokyo , Japan 🏯
Dear Tanya, your video was lovely yo watch but sadly border disputes between the true countries have divided families, it would be so nice for the ppl if you could use this forum to ease the border restrictions so that ppl.would be free to visit their near and dear ones in the two countries
The village is beautiful…. God has definitely created it with leisure and in a good mood. Also I love the way Kashmir people speak Hindi…. Sounds so polite.
It is to sad 😞 that new Indian generation has almost forgotten Hindi and are frequently using Arabic words in their language. Some of the Arabic words they use in their Hindi are new to me or May for others as well 🙏🏻

These areas were under Pakistani administration before 1971 but sadly we lost our land and people to Indian army in the war. Now, the families are separated and from the past 50 years they haven't met😴. In Baltistan there are many people who came from turtuk, tiakshi nubra and ladakh during the war and got stuck here because of the new border demarcation. Just like kartarpur corridor this border should be open so that the separated families get to see their loved ones again❤
Lol, this whole subcontinent belonged to the Hindus before 1947. But you don't have any sympathy for them. We hear Hindu girls in Pakistan getting killed everyday.
So, the location is not really visible because the bunkers are placed in the video in random order from differnt locations with really zoomed in shots. You can never tell where they are placed in real life :)
@@TanyaKhanijow mam you are an engineer and educated , your explanation is so Baseless , for a content and travelling please dont compromise with our nation security 🙏...please edit that borders part I request you...

Love this blog of yours 💞 the vibe, the view, the satisfaction 🌼❣️ I'm not able to put my feelings in to words but thankyou cause most of us are not aware about such places n through your blogs we're able to know about such beautiful unknown places 💞🌼
There so much depth in the beauty of Ladakh , which is bliss to the soul❤ . Thank you Tanya 😊 , it's definitely my dream place to visit in future .
The opening dialogue was amazing. Couldn't expect anything less from an army-man's daughter!
This comment makes me so emotional! 🥲
At the end of the day ,,were still human,, sharing this same land breathing this same air.,,i mean just look at this place is just so beautiful so why can't live peacefully???

Dear tanya dii ,this video is so amazing and the way you narrate the story is way beyond words ,even being a ladakhi i feel that the tourist should be like you guys who doesn't harm the fragile nature of our beautiful ladakh and aware others others about it .yeah this is beautiful! ,eagerly waiting for the next video💕🙌
Thank you 🥺🥺
Dear Tanya, just a wise suggestion to you....
Baat toh sahi bola bhai.
Ye aise nhi manegi aao # chalate hai " #BoycottTANYA " for showing bankars.
Waiting eagerly 😍💗
Love! ❤️❤️
I am very glad to see this village again. I had been to this place in 2014. Thank you so much for refreshing my memories... Take Care & God bless you.

At 14:49 , thank you so much for spreading good message not to step on the prayer flags and not to throw trashes on such areas. please help in keeping Ladakh clean and Green.
It was my absolute pleasure witnessing Ladakh. This is the least I could talk about. 😊🙏
One of the best narration I ever seen or heard ! just lovely .
Tanya ji, one of the best episode I watched among your tavel videos till today. Your narration always kept me watch video without skip any part. You take much effort to bring new scenery everyday. Thank you. Kashmir and Ladakh always my dream place. Thus is my first ever comment on your channel.
Awesome scenery and experience! I hope one day the Pak occupied Gilgit Baltistan ( just across these mountains) part will also be re-integrated with our Republic...those places are also mind blowing...u can watch on online travel vlogs...

Hey, i am a travel Vlogger too and love the filming style of your channel. But we can't mess with safety of army for our vlogs. Please see if you can re-upload the fresh ones after removing the bunker shots...
Those were Pakistani bunkers bro...
@@spoonfedx3505 she showed the Indian ones also. Bro!
She won't, she has repeated the same thing again in the next video..

Informative and beautiful to watch. Several questions: what is the population of the area; how do the natives survive, source of income, does the area have electricity, who and how do they make electricity in this area; how do they get around?
Bro come to Tyakshi turtuk and see 😂
Turtuk is sub Block of Nubra valley which has 6 villages
Turtuk have nearly 5k
And Tyakshi have 1200.
Source of Income - Govt. Services ,Army, Tourism, selling fruits like apricot and walnuts and vegetables.
Yeah 24/7 from last year in summers and 5:30pm to 11pm in winters.
Tanya you have really gone out of your way to bring this dream come true place near to viewers like us ,thank you
The landscape of india, I am in love.Thank you for a nice beautiful video
Hi Tanya, your vlog is awesome I enjoyed a lot music & scenery was good.
Tanya I was shocked when I saw Indian bunker's. I think it's not a good idea to showing up Army bunkers publicly. I saw some other UA-camr's they weren't allowed to take pictures or making video's of Army area. Even we shouldn't show our bridge on video's. I want to request to you If possible please edit your video & skip the bunkers part?
Keep it up. Best wishes from Tokyo , Japan 🏯
New to your channel..and I m too impressed ❤️
Thank you!

India didn't Capture Turtuk, India gave freedom to Turtuk. Kindly keep note of this.
I think he meant, india captured Turtuk from our opposing “strong hold”. No other malicious intention was involved in saying that. 😊
Dear Tanya, your video was lovely yo watch but sadly border disputes between the true countries have divided families, it would be so nice for the ppl if you could use this forum to ease the border restrictions so that ppl.would be free to visit their near and dear ones in the two countries
I m so proud for our Jawans .. Great salute to them...Jai Hind
The village is beautiful…. God has definitely created it with leisure and in a good mood. Also I love the way Kashmir people speak Hindi…. Sounds so polite.
খুবই সুন্দর একটি গ্রাম, দেখলেই মন ভালো হয়ে যায়।
