*I love border towns for some reason, I sort of enjoyed the Hong Kong to Shenzhen border crossing as you can just walk across the river after getting off the metro (inside building) it was a bit more difficult with getting the visa than just booking 2 connecting flights such as Taipei-Shanghai-Hong Kong then getting a 144 hour transit visa. The visas for shenzhen usually run out by 11am but they did make some exceptions for anyone else needing one but Shanghai is way easier and it doesn't take the entire passport page when doing it through the airport and it's also free instead of 80 GBP*

Karl, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this video, Being an Indian, I can probably never visit this place, and as a fan of Mountains, This is more than my heart can take. It is beautiful, and your filmmaking abilities are next level. As a solo videographer you do an amazing job.
Change the country!!!! Take American citizenship,
A lone woman was riding a motorbike in the mountainous area of Pakistan. Her bike broke down and she was helped by a local to toe her bike. This shows how safe Pakistan is for foreign tourists.
I'm from Pakistan.. I live in Canada.
I appreciate you doing this.
Incredible ride.
Maybe you can be free from islam in Canada!

I’m from Pakistan. I never been that area I living in New York so no I know when I go back Pakistan I’m gonna definitely visit that area. I know Pakistan is beautiful, but I don’t know that beautiful wow.

Riding to the World's Highest Border Crossing. Thank you very much, Karl Rock, for your excellent video. I can only go there in my Dreams! I am an overseas Pakistani from London, England.
Absolutely gorgeous. I have seen other videos about this area and the geography is insane.
Watching from Gwadar Balochistan ❤
beautiful place..too bad it's gonna become another DHA 😢
Funfact : Despite being the furthest and farthest region of 🇵🇰 . Gilgit Baltistan have highest literacy rate of over 80% in pakistan without having a medical or engineering college . Crime rate in these districts of Gilgit are almost negligible. I wonder if we had downtown cities like facilities we would be on another level as a society/community 😊😊

Fascinating to imagine this place was a part of India before 1947,I wish good luck to the people of this place, youre lucky to have such a wonderful place, keep it beautiful 🇮🇳🙏
Wasn't Kashmir an Independent state before '47?
@@hazaka97 If We consider Indian subcontinent as segregated land of thousands of princely states then yes,But if we consider it as Hindustan then Todays India,Pakistan,Bangladesh,Some parts of Afghanistan was one country !! Now people might have subjective opinions,We know if we look at present scenario then Everything is separated, but still its fascinating for me to imagine the whole sub continent as one !! That's why they used to say Hindustan was a Golden Bird at that time,it was flourishing economically...!! Those who wanted separate land based on religion they got it,but History and geography can't be segregated.
@@hustler3577it was never a one country, The word Hindustan itself excludes many princely states like GB itself that wasn't Hindu ever, rather Buddhist before islam. So what's the point? Why should they be considered a country?
@@huzifavesos If you were independent always, then why are you in pakistan now ?As i said it can be subjective, bcz at that time there were no political territory marking a countries border, there were empires which were unstable so they could be invaded easily and people did not have constitution or anything to have the sense of nationalism or integrity.we should not get into a debate bcz your place is already in pakistan,be happy,But i am certain it was a part of Hindustan(India).
Yes it was a sikh state under dogra sikhs..@hazaka97

main difference that i get watching people of indian side and pakistani side of kashmir is that people on pakistani side always say WELCOME TO PAKISTAN and keep gilgit or kashmir on second point , meanwhile Indian side of kashmiris start convo with WELCOME TO KASHMIR despite better infrastructure . i feel like this proves that infrastructure and money can not buy or change your years old mindset of your motherland
yeah because we kashmiris ain't indian lmao, it's a pajeet delusion bud
@@hp8029 you're right. You're not Indian. The land you leech off of is Indian.

Kashmir belongs to its founders The Kashmiri Pandits.
As a gilgiti , we own this country as we are living among our muslim people of indo aryans .. Nobody or any army personal make us feel like we are different when we go downtown cities , We all are Indus people ..
Kashmiris are dardic people who are different from dravidians , up , biharis . Your government or army oppress them if they speak by their heart . Lastly kashmiris are muslims and indian are majority hindus .. So more differences then commonalities !
@@studyali1067 you are absolutely right
