Thanks man!....installing this right now on my 2007 1.8 Civil LX. (Even though you didn't video lots of the stuff, it was still really helpful!). The videos are so much better than K&N's black and white grainy photos on paper, haha.
Ur funny bro i dont many intakes and yeap these sre headaches to install but once u do the reward is priceless when u hear that sound and the power this put on ur car is worth it 👍🏻👍🏻
You did a good job. Yea you need a pair of side cutters to cut the trim around the shield. I used a piece of hose (like that small coolant hose) to connect the gasket where it starts and stops on top of the heat shield. Just shove it in one side and then the other. Will look better. Get a filter wrap for that filter to help keep the bugs out. I cut a hole in the bottom of my heat shield to access the transmission dipstick. I don’t know why k&n didn’t design something for that. I can take just my filter off to check mine vs taking the whole heat shield out too. It is a nice intake system and sounds good too. 100k miles on my intake and still no issues with it.
I related when you talked about the previous CAI😂 I tried a cold air that snaked under. Hella power but kept stalling out on me so had to throw back in the stock box. Tempted to cop a K&N short ram now for my 07 civic EX 1.8 and fingers crossed it works out like yours 🙏
Bro tell me about it I find cold airs for like 60-80$ short ram is like 200$ cheapest ridiculous lol I was getting intakes for 20$ for my Ek coupe what is going on I see these cars on the road all the time how we don’t have aftermarket intakes lol
I am skeptical I have a 15 LX and there is only one exhaust for it and videos make it sound like shit (borla type S) any other exhaust is only for the SI should I do both the exhaust and intake will it sound better?
Depends out how you want it to sound. Skunk 2 exhaust is great to start with but if you install both you will only hear the exhaust cause it will over power the intake sound.

Was it worth it? Just curious as I want to install one too.

And you missed the whole installing part🙄
Can you install this without tuning your car
Yes you can
Where can I find the hoses for the coolant and the valve to intake hose?

Looks like a short ram intake to me with a heat shield. Great video though!
