Soft Talk: Depression, Suicide, & The Power Of The Right Music

- Good evening folks.
I'm sorry for this not being a more ASMR specific video, but I really had a strong desire to just make this one, so that's what I did.
Unprocessed, unfiltered, raw video. I decided to try and verbalize a lifetime of experiences to simply explain the message that for those who suffer truly dark, hopeless depression, sorrow, and all encompassing negativity for absolutely no reason whatsoever, that for me, music was the closest thing my mind can grasp onto as a savior of sorts. The right music at the right time can literally save a life, at least it has for me.
This is my explanation of that message, my story and how I have put that theory into practice my whole life. Not a perfect solution, but a damn strong one. The idea for actually talking about this in detail all started from someone's Instagram post that I shared on my own.

For those like myself who might come across this now, tomorrow, or years from now, I hope the message finds you well and you perhaps already do or might learn to embrace the power of the right music when you're on that brink of collapse, when the foundations are cracking. I have made it this many years of my life with that darkness sometimes winning it's battles against me, but it has not and will not win the war.

Like u said Words cannot describe what depths music can touch its truly spiritual or can be. It can evoke any type of emotion and even deeper its also feelings and thoughts.
Many of us crank up our pain with most depressing music we know added on top of feeling empty. Not eating may be an eating disorder but it too is to feel empty as well.
For me this chanel is a little gem in the inmensity of the net. Depression is always so hard to describe so ty for sharing your view on it.

I've come to realize most people are not mentally ill. A lot of depression comes from narcisistic abuse.

Secondly, I must thank you for the video. Not many content creators are open to such topics, but speaking of them, means teaching people of them. And it is always good to know as much as possible, for these are topics that all of us at least once have thought about.

Even when suicidal looked to me especially brave (i'm nihilistic, i still believe it) i listened to the most depressive music (Xiu Xiu, Matt Elliott, Camarón de la Isla...) and it never took me to any other side (quite the opposite). You see, you're not so unique in this matter (i'm just kidding).
