      As soon as possible - it's our top priority right now to get things working with R21. More news once we know more ourselves on when compatibility will be available :) Thanks! Tom

    Does Corona with with Phoenix FD fire yet? Does it still render white?

    • @ChaosCorona
      @ChaosCorona  5 років тому

      It should have worked properly ever since compatibility was introduced - only Foam was unsupported (and remains unsupported), but fire should have been working fine. We'd need more details if you are having any problems - see coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000524006-how-to-report-issues-3ds-max. Thanks! Tom

    I have the latest version of Corona and the fire still renders bright white. Anyone have a solution?

    • @ChaosCorona
      @ChaosCorona  5 років тому

      Sorry, not without having a lot more information, such as seeing the scene itself, or at least seeing screengrabs of the PhoenixFD and/or CoronaVolumeGrid set up etc. UA-cam doesn't allow posting such things in comments, so the best way to ask for help is via the forums (corona-renderer.com/forum/) or the various Corona Facebook groups if you just need help from the community (e.g. facebook.com/groups/183831411996004/). Thanks! Tom

    • @ChaosCorona

      Don't know at the moment - but since most of the video is at an accelerated speed, knowing that wouldn't tell you very much anyway I suspect :) Cheers! Tom

    If i enable caustics, I'm getting excruciating fireflies , not single white specs, the whole surfaces with firefly stains...

    • @ChaosCorona
      @ChaosCorona  5 років тому

      Hi! UA-cam comments are not a good place to discuss issues - they don't allow screen grabs, example renders, and all the other stuff useful to diagnosing an issue; plus, developers can't monitor UA-cam comments and track them. See coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000524006-how-to-report-issues-3ds-max for how to report issues to us, which would be through the forum, email to support, or support ticket. Thanks! Tom

  • @Phoenix-gz9xb
    @Phoenix-gz9xb 5 років тому

    I only have one issue with Corona as of lately that sets it aside from being the best renderer. It doesnt support wet maps for Phoenix. Only Vray, I think. Otherwise, it's the best renderer to me.

      @@ChaosCorona i mean like the ones that Ludvik did. It looks to me that those were very well organized helpful and enjoying to watch because they had a purpose of what to do from the beginning and are long also which means that they cover all the aspects of a good tutorial, not just to show us that we ca have caustics in Corona but we need to se more ... Thanks for all your hard work!

    • @ChaosCorona
      @ChaosCorona  5 років тому +2

      @@brdklt Those are very different tutorials - there are two kinds, one that introduces new features, and one that does a whole project. The whole project ones are much more difficult to create - and not only that, recent versions of Corona have introduced a LOT of new features which we need to catch up on with feature based tutorials! Otherwise someone wanting to know how to use caustics would have to go through 60 minutes of video to find out just that :)
      So for now til we catch up with all the features that have come out, we'll be focusing on these shorter, tool-specific tutorials, as those are the most useful for folks to get up to speed with the latest and greatest features. Longer term, we may see some project based videos again at some point, we shall see :) Thanks! Tom

    • @Gringottone
      @Gringottone 5 років тому +1

      @@brdklt Its always good to have both, right? I don't need Ludvik to tell me how to do stuff, but I sometimes just need to learn about the feature - I can find the application for it later. But yes his tutorial's even tho (I really didn't have this organized fealing like you did) are really helpful and it's always pleasure to watch them.

      @@Gringottone yes i agree! I'm not judging about their quality videos, for general information or not, but i have to give my opinions based on my experience as a Corona lover till day one. I have learned from Ludvik videos so much that i want others also to know what this superior render engine is capable of, that's all!

    Everything in corona is very good more than other render engine
    Just speed render in final is slow if comparison with vray specially
    Must resolve this important issue coz not all work can wait
    Some of our work have a time to wait corona finish a very good render
    So sometimes we move to vray ( i like corona more than vray ) just speed in final 🥺

      @@iskandarich1519 I've used to be a c4d user but for some plugins that i can't work without i had chosen to go with 3ds max wich belive me it's a great and complete tool but what i miss the most is the UI. C4d has the best Ui for me but the layer way of working in 3ds max is a must for me and also uv maps are unbelievably worst in c4d.
