enjoyed it and learned a lot, thanks!
Yess, great video!
Thank you, glad you found it useful! Tom
First and first like! Please do more of videos/tutorials with Corona for C4D :).
Oh, definitely, those are being developed right alongside the Max ones :) So we'll keep right on creating these. Thanks! Tom
wow, so great effect
Thank you! It is something that, up until now, has been rarely used in renders, but by making it easy, accurate, and fast (compared to other approaches), it's now possible to use this more often! Thanks! Tom
Corona =Happy Rendering
Yes!!!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Thanks for this helpful tutorial. learned a lot. please do more tutorials on corona c4d
Glad you enjoyed this one, and for sure, we are continually working on new tutorials :) Thanks! Tom
wow, I've looking so many content like this for C4D Octane Render. I definitely think it's time to change!
Glad you like the content! You can try out the fully-featured 45 day trial (can be used commercially) by downloading from corona-renderer.com/download to put Corona to the test in your projects. Enjoy! Tom
@@ChaosCorona tks man 👊🏻
Great to see C4D getting some Corona love. One comment on the pool scene. When you show the difference between the sunny HDR and the cloudy HDR, this seems realistic to me. Of course you wouldn't get much caustics on a cloudy day, just like in the real world. Right?
Yep, you are correct! That part of the tutorial is about what kind of lighting situations work best to get really nicely visible caustic effects going. Thanks for chiming in! I'd also like to apologize for a late reply.
Thanks for the tutorial @coronarenderer, is it possible to share the scene materials? I'm especially interested in the pool scene
Hi! Glad you enjoyed the tutorial! Sorry, it's not possible to share the scenes, as they contain third party assets that we do not have redistribution rights for. Thanks! Tom
Thanks for the video. I have a problem how I build the water texture so that I get the same result as in the clip. I did everything as described, unfortunately without getting the result. I suspect the fault is in my water material. What can be seen the water material Reflection, Refraction and Volumetrics. But is there no texture or noise material? How were the waves created? Or is the noise material on the water surface? Could you explain that in more detail
Hi! For detailed questions like this, that really require sharing of your scene set up, the results your getting etc., UA-cam comments don't work - please post over in the forum, best place would be the I Need Help at forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?board=49.0 - also, when posting there, please include mention of which version of C4D, which version of Corona, and so on.
For water set up btw, nothing is needed other than a shader that goes into the bump or displacement that causes the ripples on the water. To understand what you are getting though we'd need to see example renders of your results, and know more about how your scene is set up, which is where UA-cam comments breakdown :) Thanks! Tom
I need Fstorm's displacement in Corona instead of caustics
Everyone's needs are different for sure - which is why we have the Feature Requests section of the forum :) corona-renderer.com/forum/index.php?board=5.0 - thanks! Tom
(also, Corona 5 has the all-new 2.5D displacement in it too, already available in the daily builds, which offers significant memory and render time savings - check corona-renderer.com/forum/index.php?board=40.0 for those)
hello guys is there a way to create targeted lights with corona lights?
You could probably set up some sort of look at using C4D/mograph/ etc. Best bet is to ask over on the forums, where people can share their tips on how they approach it. You can also use native C4D lights too, if needed :) See corona-renderer.com/forum/index.php for the forums! Thanks! Tom
@@ChaosCorona i saw a tutorial with an older version i think in 3ds max and it used corona lights with target, if i m not mistaken
@@ciprianvalparaiso Indeed, Corona Lights in Max can be set to Targeted or not, but this is not possible in C4D, primarily because this is not how it is usually done in the C4D UI. However, we'll add it as a "feature request" and give it some consideration in the future to see if it is possible! Thanks! Tom
@@ChaosCorona keep up the good work
@@ciprianvalparaiso Thank you! We shall, for sure :) Thanks! Tom
I feel like it’s Jim from the office
well I guess at this point I should mention he was one of my favorite characters on the show. Don't really hear it myself but appreciate the comment, haha! Nejc
@@ChaosCorona haha great show! You’re glad I didn’t say Toby but all jokes aside
thank you for the tutorial I was looking for accurate caustic rendering I’m definitely picking up corona and C4D when I can afford it.
@@zeropointpoly Oh I don't know about Toby, I'm definitely more ecstatic about my everyday than he is :) Glad you've found the tutorial useful and hope to see you aboard the Corona train! Nejc
how about 3dsmax
Right here ua-cam.com/video/dYxePEJU3LQ/v-deo.html
Please upload this scene, for training. Thanks
Hi! Not possible, sorry - it uses content (models, textures, etc.) that are purchased and cannot be redistributed. Tom
