Gotta love companies that understand that simply being GOOD TO YOUR CUSTOMERS is the best advertising there is! Props to you for calling out their good service!
"I'm on a boat, everybody look at me cause I'm sailing on a boat" Hahaha props for knowing that song. Brings me back to my twenties me and my buddies heading to the beach blasting that song.
Hahaha YES! This is the comment I was waiting for! I love when people catch on to things I say mostly under my breath. That song is phenomenal! Was definitely the anthem for a couple summers!
I think I spend $30/$40 a month on the aerator. I made a video on it at one point where I spoke about the electricity consumption. That could help you come up with a cost for your utility rates. The dye runs about $60 and I drop that in every 60 days, so call it a dollar a day. The bio blocks go in every 45 to 60 days. They are about $60 each and I use 4 each time. The depth of your pond would greatly play into these figures. Ours is deep. Probably about 23ft.
Love your pond. Have watched from the start. You’re doing a grand job keeping the water clear. I can’t keep my 16 x 10 foot pond clear of the dreaded blanket weed. It would be so great to see your pond full. But how you achieve that? I have no idea. Bamma Bass dug a well I think. Might be worth looking into. Keep up with the fun videos. 😊
Thank you! It does bring us a lot of joy. Mother nature can sure be difficult some times. I hope you get it under control! I've considered a well. I may have a potential solution in the works, but nothing is baked yet.
Great video. I used the liquid cutrine plus this spring with a sprayer and it worked about 2-3 feet from the bank, the rest is still there. I guess i need to try the crystals like you have. Also, those snakes get up under those boat benches and then come out when you are out in the water 😂 I had to bail out one time and swim back, it was ugly. Not a fan of snakes 😂
Haha my grandpa used to have one of those. Loved it! My wife would flip. Haha. Glad you're here! Hope you stick around. The pond was always a dream of mine too!

@@IndyFarmLife NICE! Surprised no one else picked up on it. Guess us pond guys think alike lolol.
Can't wait for you and Adam from hometown acres to build his floating dock!
He and I haven't discussed that yet this year. I'm sure he would be down for some free labor! Ha
I love how it's so clear by the edge of the pond. Do you treat it every 2 wks?
Thanks! Early in the spring/summer I had to about every 3, but now that my bio blocks have caught up, I haven't touched it in over a month!
Great video and beautiful pond! How much would you say it cost monthly to maintain a one acre pond? We are looking at a property with one! Thank you!

Haha well I'm glad that didn't happen to me! I am yet to try the liquid version. The granular stuff has been good for me
Between the three of you guys, you really make a guy want to own a pond….😂
All the cool kids are doing it!!
Looks like a smurf pond, is the blue dye to reduce algae?
Haha, yes it is! Plus for it to be aestheticly pleasing.
@@IndyFarmLife I always wanted a large pond and a big bug light above it to feed the fish. Cool pond, I just found you so I guess time to binge.
