I really hope you keep going with this campaign, it's very enjoyable! :D The difficulty spikes HARD after the Deepwater Guard and Onyx Watch, so I do recommend combat testing against the nastier designs of later factions before you run into them in the wild (assuming you haven't done that already). 👍
You should record the building process, it’s something I weirdly enjoyed during Mart’s stream and I think it would bring some extra content to enjoy. Crazy work btw!
As someone who just did, I recommend it! It's a steep learning curve, but there are plenty of guides, patient veterans, and actually a lot of good in-game tutorials. It's also way easier if you've watched some videos like this on it, since you'll have some general knowledge on how stuff works.
@@viscinium I am currently playing it :D Started with learning how to build planes, fuel engines, missiles and some basic AI controls and detection. Next up getting proper advanced cannons running for Munition defense :D
I've come back to FtD after getting my medication fixed, it's so much easier to learn when you're not in a drug induced brain fog. I plan on making a cargo, bomber based on the Catalina flying boat because 1) it looks cool AF and 2) in WW2 it was the most successful sub hunter, did a little cargo bombing and was a frequent cargo carrier. It'll probably look like crap and fly half as good as CHUNKO. I recon some large laser-guided bombs with ballast tanks and magnets should do something to both subs and ships.
i think your next ship should be either a submarine or a light cruiser. I'm kinda a fan of the British Fiji-class light cruisers. You would think that as an American I would favor the Omaha or Atlanta classes but on my list of favorite ships the Fiji class is in my top 10 and the Omaha and Atlanta classes are in my top 30. These are aesthetic ratings btw.

hello there borderwise. fancy seeing you here. really enjoy your videos. nice going on the custom campaign stuff
That plane loaded with sonar buoys, depth charges or long range torpedoes could be an asset in combat.
I love how youtube disregarded the title and just thought you were playing trailmakers
Oscilating turret ship when?
Can't wait for the next episode!

Unedited raw footage of him building and saying whatever he's thinking or music layered over would be nice.
0:54 “weather plane” for “weather surveillance” in the Steel Striders and Scarlet Dawn airspace.
I don't know, weather there's quite rough. Wind speed's so high that chunks of tungsten come flying at 1700m/s, real bad time for planes.
Stumbled in on an HR meeting at the beginning of the episode
9:49 What is that gremlin laugh my guy😭😭😭
Man ,you really make me want to get into FtD....
Steep learning curve, but extremely satisfying.

in the game option theres a speed multiplier for the camera speed so you dont need to use zoom all the time
