    Hey TJ, REALLY GREAT VIDEO. I really liked watching that. Your explanations of the equipment and orientation of everything was really great. It's the first ice fishing video of the season for me and now I really want to go and do it, but I can't bcuz we have no ice. You're a really great fisherman and videographer. Nice walleyes! Very cool setup, looks comfortable. I stick with more of a minimalistic setup myself. I dont have a snowmobile so I need to consider how much weight I load into the sled. Good stuff!

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  12 днів тому +1

      Thank you! Definitely makes a difference if you have to pull out gear. I go super light early in the season when we can’t get the sleds out yet!

    • @differentfins
      @differentfins 12 днів тому

      @tjsguideservice I bring as much as I can, everything is a luxury. I just need to remember I am the one pulling the sled lol. If we don't get too much I can go a lot further with a lot more. Deeper snow, I stick closer to the access point and bring fewer items. It's weather depending. I am lucky to have dozens of fishing spots where I don't need to walk far

    how much of a better picture do you think the gpsmap 8610 gives you compared to a echomap 93sv? Your screen looks so clear and more detailed.

      @tjsguideservice is the gpsmap better on battery than like a 106sv ultra 2? I have a 93sv uhd 2 and am thinking of upgrading my screen this year to a 10". I am not sure what one to get. I have a 52ah battery.
