Here I was thinking I was fancy with my thermos full of chicken noodle soup hahaha. These set ups are really cool. I hand pull my sled so I'm always trying to find the right balance of weight and cool features.

Not sure why I never thought of magnetic strips for tools. I'm always trying to find them spread around the shelter. Will definitely be incorporating this idea this year. Thanks for covering this event.

Alex, do you know where the family got or how they made those custom shelves they have in their Clam X300 and X1200 ice houses?

Similar to the old guys loading system, I use a Harbor Freight 2500 winch. I mounted it to a frame (old bed frame I cut and welded together), and secured it to the front of the bed with the hooks. Nice thing with that winch is that it has a wireless remote. I extend the hook, latch on to the house, hit the button and it pulls it right in. All while standing off to the side and watching. Very slick, and don't break your back lifting it into the truck bed.

This is probly cooler then seeing all the new product releases lol seeing what everyone invents or comes up with is very cool , but the older gentleman grew up back when if you wanted something , you didn’t buy it , you made it or improved it to your liking , cool to see what the older gentlemen come up with ,

is it to much to ask for a 4 in 1 or 7 in 1 type jacket and bib/wader set with all the bow hunting, tactical and ice fishing features like good fit, camo, waterproof, windproof, zipper under arm, side arm access, silent fabic, harness port, stretch thumb hole cuffs, hood and neck gaiter, tactical pocket placement and float tech or do we have to keep buying seperate items? Should fix that imo...and why arnt shelters lined with mylar or some heat reflective material? Itd save weight and cost no?

Hey Alex! Love your videos and the tips you share. Could you make a video on what you recommend for new buyers this year/best bang for your buck, specifically for LiveScope or Panoptix? With Black Friday coming up, I’m planning to buy whatever the best deal is, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on what you would get in 2024 for around $2,000. Do you recommend a LVS32 bundle or Panoptix PS22-IF Ice Fishing Bundle, building your own set or spending the extra money on a LVS34 bundle.
