Dear Doctor Mike: The zombies, spiders, skeletons (what you called guards), creepers (the green sad patient), and bats all spawn when a place isn't lighted correctly. They were not placed there on purpose. Plus, the unfinished logo was actually supposed to be a clock. Also, I love your videos, please keep it up, and BY THE WAY, we did reach over 100k likes so please build your own hospital.

I absolutely loved Dr Mike learning Minecraft
It brought so much joy to me, remembering me as a young teen learning Minecraft when redstone wasn't even a thing, discovering new things, etc.

Dr. Mike has problems with the game's lighting engine. Literally skeletons are spawning under glowstone which doesn't even glow!.
The only light source which seems to work are torches

To be fair, though, he's right about the flame. Glowstone, redstone, and lanterns (depending on the version they were created in) would improve the situation.

The 'bushes' are slimes. They're a mob and when you kill one, it multiplies until you kill all the tiny ones (AKA the cores)

Doctor Mike, Those animals, insects, and Creatures you see in the hospitals are Naturally spawning. The fire on a stick is one of the only light sources except glow stone But glow stone needs levers or pressure plates. Pressure plates only work when you step on them Immediately after you get off it turns off, and if the glow stone Is spaced apart levers need to be placed on EVERY glow stone which is a lot.
