Hero 9 huh. Dang, I bought the Hero 8 Black. POS. Overheated at snap of fingers in 15 minutes. Difficulty connecting to phone app. Sudden powering down that required removing, re-inserting battery. Maybe if I had the 9, I wouldn't be bitching as much, lol. Anyhoo, sold it and got an Action 4, much better.

The only thing that I find worthwhile in the GoPro Hero 13 is the waterproofed door replacement that keeps your GoPro H13 working in for long hours, since most of my videos are very long driving sequences in the Greek wilderness. However, my DJI Osmo Action 4 and Insta360 AcePro allow me to shoot for over 1,5 hours nonstop at 4K25 with their batteries, which basically fits the time that I take breaks from driving my tiny car. 400 fps in 720p is crazy in 2024? Really?
Gopro just put themselves out of business with yet another disappointing release. The competition is tough now. They really needed to step out up. They didn't
Same GP2 processor and the same sensor as the gopro 11! i skipped 12 for this very reason and i will be skipping number 13.thats an unlucky number for some, especially gopro who wont be getting my money this year.yawn
Seems like it could have been a firmware update
Or a new sensor performing better in low light conditions
Its an update for their wallet. They just added stops so all the existing accessories won’t work. Same processor. Same image sensor. Exactly same actual size battery that won’t work with the old gopro. Rip off
Up selling trap
nope, no 1 inch sensor, no thanks
If you're going to use DC Rainmakers footage you should at least put his name on the screen.
We used both each others footage, we helped each other film. For instance, in his video, I’m filming him doing his cannonball. Vice versa in my video.
Indeed, we were on a trip together and took turns taking a shots of each other. Appreciate the concern, but we’re basically each others stunt men. 😂
@@Dcrainmaker DC you are my favorite reviewer and thought DesFit was stealing your footage. Sorry to the both of you.
DJI will end up buying Gopro 😉
Bullshit you bot
Well... i guess gopro wants to be behind in the competition. Osmo>Gopro
👍
Man i just bought a hero 12
Good for you, like that you will not be compelled to spend hundreds of dollars on costly accessories you will probably end up not using 😊
Return it?
They have fallen way behind hard to believe
Still an unreliable garbage camera. GoPro is quickly losing their entire customer base to DJI.
This is such a nonsense take. Enjoy the upvotes, though!
Lol. Claiming things without knowledge nor experience = insanity. Work for dji, fanboy?
@@cailife Buddy the reviews don't lie and their stocks speaks for itself.
@@Stevenafoe I had a GoPro hero 9, about half my videos was uploaded with it, the camera was unreliable garbage. DJI has yet to fail me, no freezing, battery inflation, overheating, SD card corruption etc...
DJI cameras can charge to 100% in 30 minutes while GoPro cameras take 4-5 hours to charge to 100%, that ALONE is proof that GoPro is garbage.
@@Waldo1122 no, it’s not proof. Slow charging battery, who cares. Might be stupid, but not garbage. You having issues with one old camera, also not proof. Plenty of folks here saying they’ll keep the gp9, as it seem to work great for them. So gp9 issues might be your fault (like using cheap/bad not recommended sd card etc). So, zero evidence for gp13 being garbage like you claimed.
Try again…
Same processor, so disappointing
Great review on a terrible product. GoPro has really stopped trying to do anything new. Incremental upgrades and software fixes. Stay tuned for 500 videos about it over heating.
It's media mod is rubbish ,company has to make herself .
Last product before go bankrupt...
