Thanks, i didn't plan on doing that but i wanted to be able to show what was happening rather than trying to explain it and have viewers take my word for it. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. It helps me in the long run to know what works and what doesn't. Cheers.
Thanks for sharing! I was wondering how the standard look vs the macro view is to a person compared to a flower. I am wanting to see if it is worth it to get for recording like a band or a cheer team, etc.
Qestion is how much $ you pay to have just good focus on first 30cm flower? Beascause i am not sure if this can be use as for macro shots.. to see eye of bee or anything near to it :) I thought that it will far more powerfull
honestly, it is a bit more of a novelty than anything but if all you have is a gopro and you want to get pictures of mushrooms or flowers out on the trail it is cool. For any real macro work, i'll stick with my Sony A7R4 with a true macro lens and proper lighting. the ultra wide lens is what lives on my gopro at the moment but i keep the macro for just in case.
Does the macro lens attachment work as a standard lens when the focus dial is turn all the way to the furthest focal length? I am wondering whether I can use just the macro lens alone when I go backpacking?
@@lohyewcheong I just threw the Macro lens on and took a few photos and a short video in my back yard and it had no problem getting distant objects (trees 100+ feet away) in focus so it should work just find for what you are looking for but just be advised that it does not allow you to go super wide view with the macro lens on. I think it is a cool lens for sure but the ultra wide is what will stay on my GoPro for 90% of the videos and photos that i take and the macro will be the other 10% i think.
Dang, I just watched the video on UA-cam instead of on my computer from iMovie and you are right, it doesn’t do it justice. I think all those meds are actually for the dogs haha. I should just stick to vehicle reviews… there are WAY better camera review chant out there, I was just excited

I'm still rock'n the GoPro 2...I used back when I wheeled in CO. That 13 is lightyears ahead of what I have.
That’s awesome. The oldest GoPro I have is a 6 that I still use but it overheats and doesn’t run for too long. They are pretty tough for sure
I like how you show the setup from a different angle while having the video playing from the camera itself.👍

I think the standard lens would be good enough for that but I am still getting more use out of the ultra wide and liking it more and more as I use it

I haven’t tried to take a landscape image with the macro lens on it but I will check that and report back for sure!

@@flaberdoopinDoes the wide angle view look the same on the distance side of the macro lens as the standard lens?
You got to record and export in 4k; this 1080p looks rough. Also, I see a bunch of meds in the background, what ya on?😅

Spend $1000 on a real mirrorless camera 😂😂😂
I already have a a7r4 but it is big and not all that great/convenient for mounting to the outside of my truck when out on the trails or camping
And $1000 ain’t gonna get you Mitch of a real mirrorless camera
