Thanks for your love and support towards my career 😘😘😘
When I want to be calm and take away my mental problems usually I listen these magic songs
Ich liebe diese Musik von diesem Ausnahmetalent
Einmal so singen können, und dabei Schlagzeug spielen zu können, traumhaft
This type of legends should live for ever to give happiness to generations to come with his God gifted talent . Humble, Simple , Genius.
A tad bit over-dramatic don't you think? He's an entertainer. Not the Buddha.
@@39095 a bit over dramatic…., seriously?
He has accomplished so much in music and enjoyed fame and fortune. But he has been so underrated for the press, critics and people like you. Sad
@@lorenacabrejos7203 That's great. But he's just an entertainer. You guys act like the human race would stop evolving if we weren't entertained. That's sad.
Vale
No other like Phil Collins!! Great singer and drummer. Love love him!!! You rock!!!🎵🎵🎵🎵❤️❤️❤️
A lot of people don't realize how hard it is to drum and sing at the same time
I have tried and it’s really hard
Talented man with incredible voice big up!❤❤❤❤❤
Long life Phill. I have been listening to this song since I was a kid.
I’ve just listened to this on repeat six times and I get goose bumps and chills goes through my body when the drums kick in each time!! Crazy!
Same. Just the same
Same me❤
The execution and timing of his transition from singing and walking, to drumming, is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen in my life.
Alan Yates you sir are a.legend
@@gareththomas7673 thanks Gareth. I simply never tire of this. Just watched again now!
He probably memorized certain points on the stage where he should be at certain corresponding points in the song.
@@DJ-ov2it yes I would say you are right, and doesn't it flow seamlessly.
Alan Yates ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!! He is TOTALLY EPIC 👍👍👍👍 loveeeeeeethis video!!!!!!!
Phil Collins is a genius...I love this song...i will listen to it til the end of time..
Those guitar riffs are absolutely chilling! Daryl Stuermer is a monster 🤘🎸
Give me goosebumps them riffs, amazing 🎉❤
The best live version of this song by far, and the guitarist is fantastic too 🎸
did u you see the one from 12 years ago. with the blue lights on the stage and the lang beard bass player?. haha sorry didnt know how to tell which one. but to me that one is the best. and its the same guitar player. but if u have seen it and u like this one more...he its all subjective...just maybe i thought u should see it if u havent. anyway. have a good day and this song will never die.
The one from 2004 (I think) is the most epic! My favorite is the one from the “No Jacket Required” HBO Special.
@@rashiednurmohamed6452The bassist is Leland Sklar and the guitarist is Daryl Stuermer. Both are extremely talented!
A true combination of singing and drumming, makes it one of the best songs ever performed
Absolute brilliant, thats all i can say, will never be another Phil Collins
On of my favorite songs of all time love it 🎉🎉
That 🎸 opening.. is fkn haunting! Love it
Daryl Stürmer
The crowd just stops and listens. Love it

Total boss. When he walks out I think class is now in session. Epic
This is probably one of the best live performances I've ever seen or heard, Phil Collins is class
👀🗣🗣💎🍸🥂🍾
Happy Birthday Phil Collins! Been a blast enjoying your music, and what an inspiration you are with your music and Genesis. Wishing you all the best and to everyone a great year! Honestly, what a great track this is, along with the others!
While I wait anxiously for Phil Collins to pick up his sticks, I crave for Leland Sklar's bass to simply add magic to the drums - man! I can replay the drumming to hear just the 2 of them compliment each other!!!! KUDOS!
Esa entrada de batería dios !!! Desde que la escuché por primera vez ya hace muchos años me sigue poniendo los pelos de punta ❤❤
I grew up with this guy. To me, he is a legend. My hat off to this man.

What a treat to watch and listen to a master musician making phenomenal music look so simple and effortless.
Thanks my dad for always playing phil's song so I knew how great old songs compared to nowadays
I know that saying thank you for telling me thank you well I hope you like the music like I do my precious
When I was a child…my parents, specially my dad would raised the volume …Insane vibes & memories 😎✨🫶
WOW Phil you’ll be remembered FORVER ! When I’m feeling low all I have to do is listen to you play the drums and I smile
The pain in this mans voice is transcendent. For those of you who dont know, this song is about his divorce. Masterpeice.
Really?
@@TartarianTopG yeah not about a guy watching another guy drowning
It was written during a difficult time in his marriage, but that is not what it is about. Here is Phil with the story behind the song in his own words:

Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight | The Story Behind The Song
@@hankharty9673 I see what you are saying and he does claim there is no meaning behind the words. What i would say, is that he wrote the song in his empty house after his wife took his kids and his dogs. I clearly hear pain among other things in this mans voice when he sings this song. Perhaps its subconcious perhaps it truly has nothing to do but I use my jugdement it this is what i see and hear. Nothing is about nothing. He wrote lyrics that perhaps he has not taken the time to find their meaning, but they are not jiberish.
He debunked that himself
