Well... this was cayde 6 death: "A crazy robot that danced while shooting the monsters that wanted to kill him until he got killed by an asshole" for the people who never played the game and it's the first time they see it. "A tragedy" for people who played destiny 2 and loved it like me.
It's a real shame that video games are seen as the lowest form of art, even though they're an amalgamation of all forms of art with the player right in the middle
Videogames are more than every other movie or TV series. In movies you watch the situations and try to empathize with the protagonist, in videogames you are the protagonist, you choose for him, and if he fail it's your fault, and if he win it's thanks to you. Even if you try not to get in the protagonist you get in, can't deny it. RDR2, for example, you don't play a videogame, you live a different life in the year 1899. You become Arthur, and when he dies in the game, a part of you die with him. That's why for me videogames>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>movies and TV series
Still remember when we lost Cayde and how terrible it was. I feel like that's what made Forsaken amazing though, we went for revenge and let out that hate onto Uldren. Now that Lance is gone it hurts even more.
May the characters that protect others and sacrifice for the players, and dies and the characters we played rest in peace and may they go down in video game history as the greatest warriors that ever existed in video games
I know I'm going to sound nitpicky, but I just want tovsay that it could've used a larger variety of sad moments in games. Besides that, it was really great
