Also those who adopted Buell, as the last request from Hamish, was heartbreaking losing her on that mountain side. Knowing she'll be finally reunited with her beloved owner and best friend... and soon... with Arthur 😭 EDIT: I apologize for addressing Buell as a girl, its a BOAH!
0:12 already started it with my favorite scene from the witcher 3, i love that emotional side of Geralt, no amount of potions and mutagens were enough to strip him of his humanity, and all thanks to the exceptional love he has for Yen and Ciri, i like how both him and yen just consider themselves father and mother to Ciri even though they didn't give birth to her since witchers can't reproduce, but when you see the way he held her, and how Yen can't rest her eyes without Ciri, it shows how they not only consider her a their daughter but they somehow fully convinced each other that she is their daughter regardless of anything else... and all this story beces even better when you understand the things they went through before they met each other, Geralt's life was tasteless before he met them, Yen was hopeless, and ciri had idea what life is and why people around her even exist because she was yet to know what love is. I love the witcher, it's not all about swords and mosters, it's also about finding love and finding those people who makes your life meaningful.
@@aliennug not really, it's greatly thinking ciri was gone untill she wakes up between his arns, that was one of the few instances where Geralt shows some emotions

I've watched this video repeatedly, but every time I revisit it, I still experience goosebumps and tears well up in my eyes. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece of a video.
The whole final ride, when Arthur says Thank you to his horse as it’s dying, saying to Dutch “I gave you all I had” and then watching the sunrise. For me this game was a masterpiece and Arthur is one of the best written characters in gaming history.
I just ended rdr 2 and i just don't want to play it anymore after seeing Arthur die and i still can't believe he's dead 💔 I'm getting this werid feeling i don't know how to explain I've never been attached to a character like that.
that part hit me more than his death. I knew he would die, but him being afraid and letting himself be vulnerable got to me so much, especially because I simpatize and emphatize with him
Absolutely cried my eyes out during the end. Got to meet Roger Clark and Rob Wiethoff in person too in August 2019 (as well as Ben Byron Davis who voiced Dutch and Alex McKenna who voiced Sadie Adler). They are genuine and amazing people.
Number 15: Burger King foot lettuce. The last thing you'd want in your Burger King Burger is someone's foot fungus. But as it turns out, that might be what you get. A 4channer uploaded a photo anonymously to the site showcasing his feet in a plastic bin of lettuce with the statement 'This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King.' Admittedly, he had shoes on. But that's even worse. The post went live at 11:38 PM on July 16, and a mere 20 minutes later, the Burger King in question was alerted to the rogue employee. At least, I hope he's rogue. How did it happen? Well, the BK employee hadn't removed the Exif data from the uploaded photo, which suggested the culprit was somewhere in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. This was at 11:47. Three Minutes later at 11:50, Burger King branch address was posted with wishes of happy unemployment. Five minutes later, the news station was contacted by another 4channer. And three minutes later, at 11:58, a link was posted: BK's 'Tell Us About Us' online form. The foot photo, otherwise known as Exhibit A, was attached. Cleveland Scene Magazine contacted the BK in question the next day. When questioned, the breakfast shift manager said 'Oh, I know who that is. He's getting fired.' Mystery solved, by 4chan. Now we can all go back to eating our fast food in peace.

@@jovon6791 This is a video... about powerful moments... in video games. That quote is referencing a powerful moment in a video game. Are you brain dead?
Non gamers don't know what they're missing out on, it saddens me to know a lot of people still think video games are still in that pac man or donkey kong phase where it's just a fun time waster for kids; but games have evolved into a broad medium of storytelling and world building in ways movies or books wish they could make their audience connect to.
Video games, Books, and movies are all similar in at least one way, they're ways to waste time. At the end of the day, none of it is real, and yeah, it's just a video game. Just like other mediums of story telling, they merely draw you into the story, rather than have you directly participate in it. Sure, you're playing a game, but what you're really doing is just playing a story already written out for you. Think of it as like a more interactive tour. That's why I say to people that it's just a game. While it can make us feel emotions at the time of seeing a story that we're invested in, at the end of the day nothing you just played is worth being mad about, or worth being sad, happy, or whatever after the point of playing, because none of it is real, and it doesn't matter. This isn't referring to the quality of the story, but just the emotional content of the story itself. If a character dies, sure it's sad, but you're of course not going to mourn, it isn't a real person. You can just restart the game and play again, with all the consequences reversed.
I couldn't have said it better myself mate. Hopefully in the near future, everyone can come to appreciate and recognize the art of video games for its creatively compelling storytelling and uniquely design character developments.
This isn’t just pixels on a screen , it tells a story , whether a good or bad , sad or happy , scary or fun it still stuck with us regardless , it’s about the small things , all good stories must end , but we must carry on
Arthur Morgan's death is probably one of the most touching and unique character arch's and deaths of all. May I, stand unshaken... Amidst the crashing world
Not just him, but also Dom. A man you got to grow to love for three games, for him to sacrifice himself, just so he can meet his wife again. With the raw emotion of Marcus, watching his pal die, the one he worked with for so long, makes sense why Marcus would seclude himself in Gears 4.
Not even just his death, but the events leading up to it. There are only two video game scenes that have made me cry like a baby: when Sarah gets shot at the beginning of the last of us and when Arthur’s horse died. And by the time arthur himself died I was already losing my shit.
I remember finishing red dead 2 for the first time and I took the honourable death and all of the time and bonding with the characters the missions the backstories going through the struggles of Arthur then looking at him watch the sunset as he died was the saddest shit I’ve ever seen
Well because we played as him, when John died in RDR it did feel similar. When companions in games die you get sad as well but not as sad as when the main character, that you were with the whole game, dies. (as long as it is a good written one, noone would give a shit about Abby from TLOU)
Had to pause halfway through, playing so many of these games and remembering every emotion I felt and reliving it was the most peaceful thing I have experienced, thank you
My mom used to play DonkeyKong on the Super Nintento laughing and jumping holding the controler. She passed away of cancer. Games can give you not only a good time but the joy of beeing alive even if you just press some buttons. You can be a Hero or an Monster in them but you still feel, something. I love you mom and thank you for playing DonkeyKong with me and introduce me to Video Games.
Your mother was a sweet and lovable person who never ceases to have good time. She left you with the greatest gift as you grow up, to always smile and have fun, becoming the best person you can ever be like she was to you, for someone else ❤
This is the first time I have seen a Gears of War scene in these types of videos. Let me tell you that shit hurts bro. I loved those games and hearing Marcus yell Dom's name while he is talking to his dead wife just breaks you, by far one of the most realistic voice acted scenes ever. Most of these scenes you know the actor isn't acting, and I think that's why it gets so close to home. Well played sir, well played.
Marcus and dom's brotherhood throughout the first few games and how marcus was there when they found his wife just makes his "dooooooooom" hurt that much more
whole 5 minutes in the pure silence catching every word and every moment, taking microseconds to analyse each clip to remember the game, the emotions it gave me. awesome job, mate
"I think i pushed all I can" "It would mean a lot to me" "Im not a good man" "i left a gang after the gang left me" "Arthur, I dont talk about him much, but I think about him, and it hurts" "If it werent for Arthur i would be dead now" All these lines are something i never felt in any game, its just that strange feeling of saddness and baddass mixed together.

I work in a video game store. One day during the run up to Christmas I was putting some stock out on the shop floor, and this family with two kids begins to look at some games near where I was working. The husband is super enthuiastic and discussing with his wife about all these games they could get their kids for Christmas and how happy it would make them. This poor man's wife was considerably less positive. She says, loudly, "Oh no! I don't want them to spend all day on "idiot boxes!"". The reason I pointed out that she said it loudly, and so smugly, was because I swear to this day she was trying to inderectly throw shade at me and other staff, as if her way of having fun was oh so superior to ours. I didn't say anything to her because I quite like getting paid and having a job. However, to this day wish I could've. I wish she could just see this video, and then try and justify how these worlds that game developers create are any less of a masterpiece than her favourite movies. TL;DR - Fuck Karens, all my homies hate Karens!
We should enjoy what we enjoy, video games is another artistic and creative form of entertainment all ages can experience together. Doesn't matter what she thinks, its her lost she doesn't know the beauty of immersive storytelling.
I try not to play games as much anymore because to an extent I don't want to be at the end of my life and reflect back thinking I've spent most my life playing vidya but the stories these games tell me and the lessons they've taught me made me the man I am today Arthur Morgan's and John Marstons story in particular really showed me on what it is to be a good person ironically and try to live life the best you can because it can all end both suddenly and we all aren't gonna be young for long. We're all gonna get sick and die. Anyway the point I was trying to say is these games might be a waste of time if it's abused in my opinion I've gone through that and wasted my teens. But in the right balance these games will take you on a journey and will teach you alot about well life and you might take some good characteristics from our favorite characters and apply them to real life. Also the stories are super fucking good trumps tv and movie writing no show or movie has moved me more than vidya stories hell cod mw3 soaps death had me more cut than some of my favorite movie death scenes. Any way I won't disturb ya.
@@Bruce-mx6sj ive only been playing games for the last 3 months since I dont have to go to college and tbh, i dont feel like im wasting my life. I love playing games and enjoy them, why would be a waste of time do something that you actually like? life is short and long at the same time, so I try to play the most now cos theres gonna be a point in life that i wont be able to play games anymore. This is art and sure, there might be other things that I could do like learn how to cook a gourmet meal idk, but thing is, right now, i wanna be an Assasin running across egypt or a vigilante flying across gotham, or a gunslinger in the old west, not learning how to cook a stupid meal No mean to hate, just point out that games are awesome but shouldnt be played in excess

I think you have the wrong video

Number 15: Burger King foot lettuce.
The last thing you'd want in your Burger King Burger is someone's foot fungus. But as it turns out, that might be what you get.
A 4channer uploaded a photo anonymously to the site showcasing his feet in a plastic bin of lettuce with the statement 'This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King.'
Admittedly, he had shoes on. But that's even worse.
The post went live at 11:38 PM on July 16, and a mere 20 minutes later, the Burger King in question was alerted to the rogue employee. At least, I hope he's rogue. How did it happen? Well, the BK employee hadn't removed the Exif data from the uploaded photo,
which suggested the culprit was somewhere in Mayfield Heights,
Ohio. This was at 11:47. Three Minutes later at 11:50, Burger King
branch address was posted with wishes of happy unemployment.
Five minutes later, the news station was contacted by another
4channer. And three minutes later, at 11:58, a link was posted: BK's 'Tell Us About Us' online form. The foot photo, otherwise known
as Exhibit A, was attached. Cleveland Scene Magazine contacted
the BK in question the next day. When questioned, the breakfast
shift manager said 'Oh, I know who that is. He's getting fired.' Mystery solved, by 4chan. Now we can all go back to eating our fast food in peace.

Greatest story of all time
Non gamers don't know what they're missing out on, it saddens me to know a lot of people still think video games are still in that pac man or donkey kong phase where it's just a fun time waster for kids; but games have evolved into a broad medium of storytelling and world building in ways movies or books wish they could make their audience connect to.
Well said.
You can just restart the game and play again, with all the consequences reversed.
yeah to bad that the loud majority of so called gamers arent the type of people who see videogames as an medium for varied story telling
I couldn't have said it better myself mate. Hopefully in the near future, everyone can come to appreciate and recognize the art of video games for its creatively compelling storytelling and uniquely design character developments.

With the raw emotion of Marcus, watching his pal die, the one he worked with for so long, makes sense why Marcus would seclude himself in Gears 4.
ua-cam.com/video/AfkMme9c3LE/v-deo.html

They dont get it

This is art and sure, there might be other things that I could do like learn how to cook a gourmet meal idk, but thing is, right now, i wanna be an Assasin running across egypt or a vigilante flying across gotham, or a gunslinger in the old west, not learning how to cook a stupid meal
No mean to hate, just point out that games are awesome but shouldnt be played in excess
Kratos saying “I Know” hit me right in the heart
i've never played those games, but that has to be one of the best delivered lines ever in gaming history, and it's just two words. damn
@@hitpnt7972 yea that line and when Arthur said I’m afraid in rdr2 are my favorite lines in gaming history

Seeing Arthur die hurt a lot. At least I got the high honor...
The high honour is so saddening but the low honour is like a punch in the face and being left sad afterwards
That's the way it is..
I've never done the low honour way. It just feels.... wrong.
I achieved every ending. Heres a list of the saddest.
1. Help John high honor
2. Return for money low honor
3. Help John low honor
4. Return for money high honor.
Im still on first playthrough. 380 hrs. Started 2 months after launch on console. I dont want hin to die. Its too hard
This is the best goddamn, "It's just a game" Tribute I've ever seen. Bravo dude.
"It is a good life we lead, brother." "The best. May it never change." "And may it never change us."-Federico and Ezio Auditore"
That line and then remembering everything he lost along the way is pain
13 years old. Blew me away. My favourite game of all time.
Bruh I was just thinking about this quote this morning
Where is Ezio auditore , connor , altahir
Oh fuck I was thinking how this scene hasn't made it in any of these that I've seen. Such a beautiful and sad moment.

A fools game is making quotes, and crying over something that never happened, it’s just an animation, and it’s completely fake
Lees death is still the only video game or movie death to make me cry

On the third playthrough of GTA 4, never gets old.
Niko! Let’s go bowling!!
My favourite quote from GTA IV
That’s a good one
I never cried at Arthur’s death or Johns death, but when the credits showed photos of the lives of the other surviving gang members after Arthur died, when it showed Mary and Arthur’s grave, I couldn’t hold it. I just had to cry. Rdr2 is always going to be one of the best games ever, it always will be.
Mary's grave?? Arthur's crush Mary? How did she die I thought she moved on from Arthur.
@@thepaperninja3123 it showed Mary visiting Arthur's grave. Mary's alive
Not crying at Arthur’s death is a crime
@@tr1mxx1no, it’s because I have already played rdr2 multiple times. The first time I did cry, but every time Mary at Arthur’s grave gets me.
