I absolutely love this bread recipe! Its so easy to make, and best of all its delicious. I hope you like this recipe as much as I do. Thanks for watching!
Great video. To the point without a lot of chatter. Great instructions and you are very easy to listen to. I'm going to try this with spelt flour. I'll have to reduce the liquid content a bit, but it should be really good.
2 years since you posted this so I'm not sure you'll see this BUT.......FANTASTIC!!! This recipe has been printed and put in my book as 'THE' recipe for cinnamon raisin bread. Sometimes you look for and pick a recipe that isn't at all very good but this one...this is THE BEST! I used your tip about double pans which worked beautifully and I'll always credit you with this going forward. The heel slice I sampled and a bit of a crisp for the crust but it wasn't tough or chewy, my GOD this is a good recipe!!! Thank you for sharing!!! ps: I was going to take 1/2 to work and share but it's Saturday and I'm now rethinking this option! Bravo!
Thank you for this delicious nnd simple recipe. I made it and it was by far the best cinnamon raisin bread i've ever had in my life. I stretched the dough out very thin, which led to lots of layers like a croissant, except better because it had raisins and cinnamon!
Actually, we do appreciate grams, it so much more accurate! Thanks for posting metrics! It's a great recipe and lovely presentation! I've made this many times, and this time I made into rolls. They came out awe🎉some. Wish I could send the pic
@@AQuarterBaked What a delicious recipe. It is like one of those huge cinnamon rolls (without the icing) but who says you can't whip a batch up. Say...2 things. 1. My bread baked in 30 minutes to a nice golden brown. I had set the timer for 30 minutes just to make sure it wasn't browning too fast. The aroma was letting me know it was done! 2. Why did the swirls not stick together? I patted everything like you said. The oven temp was a perfect 350*. Will try another of your recipes. Thanks again.
@@sirgnome1114 I'm so happy you liked it! For the gaps try rolling it a bit tighter. If you roll it too loose the dough doesn't stick where you added the sugar and can cause gaps. Rolling it tighter can also slow down the rise time just so you know.
Thank you for recipe and THANK YOU for using metric measurements! I use a scale for ALL bread recipes. I actually just let my guard down and tried a recipe using "cups" of flour. Of course, I had a brick ball of dough. I usually start with a lot less flour than called for, but I don't know what I was thinking...anyhooo, I'm sticking to metric recipes from now on. Thank you again! Can't wait to try!
Here from Preppy Kitchen...my mom loves cinnamon raisin bread, I'll be making this for her! The dough recipe being in grams was quite cumbersome to convert... if you could just say the measurements in tbls, tsp and cups or print it out tat way like you did the filling - it would be helpful for us home bakers without a digital scale!
Yay! Thank you for watching, and I hope your mom loves it too 😀 I usually make this recipe in a 3 loaf batch. When I brought it down to one loaf the numbers got a little wonkie. I was afraid you may get different results so I went for exact grams instead. I can relate to your dilemma and will definitely keep that in mind for future videos.
Thanks for metric measurements! I switched over to metric years ago; It so much more accurate, except for temperature. I still use Fahrenheit. My family and neighbors Love, Love this recipe, this is my fourth loaf!
I love raisin bread toast for breakfast and I really like your recipe. It is easy and I know it will become one of my faves to bake. Thank you for sharing!
Excellent presentation, very professional too. Can't wait to try this recipe. I usually buy the Ezekiel raisin bread, which is delicious; but it's like $10 a loaf. Me thinks your recipe is a better option in that regard.
You make it look so easy. I'm going to try this and hope it is as delicious as it looks. I will be kneading by hand since I don't have a mixer. Thanks for posting.
Hey I made this bread 2x. Once for my dads birthday, and another time as a date idea with my girlfriend. Thanks for such an awesome easy recipe. Also thanks for having the ingredients in metric for us Canadians :)
Hi this is the first video of yours ive seen and I think your style is super easy to follow, clean, and enjoyable to watch! I made this today and it came out wonderful! Thank you for sharing! 😊
So happy you're enjoying the recipes! I'm working on a apple pie, but I do have some scone recipes on here. Butter pecan scones and cranberry orange scones. The butter pecan are my favorite.
Do it doesn't. The only thing that is changes between types of yeast is whether you have yo bloom the yeast or not. The rise for the dough is not connected to yeast type.

@@AQuarterBaked it didn't rise, came out like a door stop/ a friend of mine took it today to feed to wild turkeys. lol I made a second loaf and it's perfect! I gave him a couple slices to take home for breakfast!

Yes!!! Was so appreciative for metric!
No that's the worst part I'm over here with my freedom fraction measuring spoons and now I gotta go buy a digital scale like a dope dealer. 😂😂

Could extra raisins be added? I love that part of the bread
@@chayilsherrod3213 yes you can add extra raisins if you like. You may need to let it rise a bit long but not much

😊
If we’re using instant yeast though doesn’t that eliminate the need for the second rise?
Do it doesn't. The only thing that is changes between types of yeast is whether you have yo bloom the yeast or not. The rise for the dough is not connected to yeast type.
Why do you add the butter after the mixing ?
New subbbbieeeee
Thanks for watching!!!
I always wondered how the swirls got in the bread. I know now.

Can I use all purpose flour I don’t have bread flour on hand
You can use all purpose. You should mix it a little longer to develop the gluten too.
