Great review! I agree with your assessment of the '25 Honda CRF 250r. This bike handles and corners very well. That is the biggest difference that I noticed between the 2025 and the 2022 CRF 250 I had before. Engine power is great with more bottom power and nice pull through the mid to top. Suspension was very good out of the box, but I needed to stiffen the forks a bit since I'm heavy (225lbs) for a 250. Overall, Honda made some very nice improvements to this bike, especially in the handling and stability...typical great Honda rider ergonomics...and more power. Love this bike!
He didn’t necessarily say that. He just said the the bike has a much more useable third gear, and a lot more bottom to mid range and that the top end just stayed the same. I’ve gotta say though. From riding a ‘23 kx250 to riding the new crf250r, the third gear makes a huge difference. Power feels very smooth and just carries it through each gear.
@@Superdisco199 yes, the shock and forms are pretty stiff out of the bog for off-road/enduro use. You would definitely need to change out the shock spring and change the fork oil or springs.
Jumps could always be better at Switchback. Make sure you try Adrenaline Ridge by Elderton PA. New Honda is nice, look forward to getting one
Absolutely. I’ve been two adrenaline ridge twice. I want to go again. Just tight timing.

mxengineer??
Nice ride dude currently saving up for this bike
Yah it’s a sweet bike. The handling is outstanding.
Thanks for the vid, so still a bit stiff for offroad/enduro use I'm guessing from the onscreen comment?

How much engine braking is there? Does it roll in nice?
The default and aggressive map feels Ike there’s a little more engine braking. The tame/smooth map is a little more free in my opinion.
It rolls into to Rita and corners so well, the handling is probably the best I’ve ever felt on a dirtbike
bro cased almost every jump
I did not have a great day of track riding. Was fun riding the bike tho. Plus, new bike, technically not mine. So I decided to take it down a notch😂
