@@UpAllNight91 Looks like I'll have to grind the piston ring gap. According to the recommendation from Wiseco, the minimum ring gap should be 0.038mm (for a 97.01mm cylinder), and when I take their ring and insert it into the cylinder (it’s stock), the piston ring gap is 0.033m, the 0.038mm feeler gauge won’t fit through.
@@maximzalessky227 Ok. Yeah just a hair on the tighter side. Its close enough that if you wanted to run it without filing it will be ok, just break it in well. Thats probably what I would do as its really close. But wouldn't hurt to file it either.
6:40 the plastics just love to eat that frame :(
Oh yeah. I use shoe goo on my own bikes anywhere I can see thats gonna happen. It surelty saves the frame from that happening. The plastic frame guards are bad at that too.
Hi I checked fuel system on 2020 crf250r. It sprays fuel when injector is out of the bike but when reinstall in and turn it over I can't see it spraying when I look into the throttle body. Is this correct. Bike isn't starting but I think this could be down to low compression.
When you mention that it sprays fuel when its out of the bike, is that out of the bike but connected to the bikes fuel system and terminal or is that on the bench?
@@UpAllNight91 yes when connected to the bikes system with injector out
@@daithimurphy1832 Ok yeah, they can sometimes be hard to see once they are inserted into the intake throttle body. Maybe slide some paper in there and see if it gets wet?
Why the hell Honda doesn't make a 350 I don't know
Right. for me a bigger question is why they dont make 2 strokes anymore
Is this close to the same as a 22 450? Or very different?
Hello. I have a video like this but for the CRF450r. Here is a link ua-cam.com/video/FWt7Ws40Fl4/v-deo.html
@@UpAllNight91 sweet thank you!
@@brodyberry9919 Yes Sir!
Great video thanks. I am on my war to buy the 2025, but it will arrive in 3 Werkstatt earliest. Can you tell me the thread size of the oil drain plug 90084K95AA0 please? I want to buy an magnetic one upfront.
Hello. I'm sorry but I dont have that bike here currently so I wont be able to check the thread size. Whatever drain plug you use be sure to check that it doesnt go in the motor too far and come in contact with anything in there.
@@UpAllNight91 thanks this is a very important hint. I will wait until the bike is here to measure it. I dont know why the OEMs dont use it (beside the costs).
@@barbenfischen Yeah I think its a cost thing. And maybe they dont want us to freak out when we see transmission dust on the magnet lol
@@UpAllNight91 😄
lets use a wisco piston because its much cheaper than the forged honda piston.mated to the expansion rate of the nikasil plated stock handa cylinder. yep this is a true forged piston that the honda cylinder is not designed to expand as much as the new forged wiseco piston will ..so we are taking a chance to lock up the engine for a piston not made to work in place of the alloy forged piston from honda.and by the , after all its not ours ..hehe
I have put in over 1000 wiseco pistons in various bikes. I havent had any issue. It might not be my bike but these are my friends and I ride with them.
@@UpAllNight91 1000 pistons ? that is a lot of friends or why do they need so many pistons ?

just sayin' but today's 250 cc two stroke makes on the average of 50 hp some even more..and in the hands of the tuners like hldeo "pops" yoshimura your 250 cc 2 stroke could do over 100 mph ..in case you are wondering who the hell pops yoshimura was as he designed , built, produced the very first honda 2 stroke called the Elsinore ..ever heard of one ? they were the game changer world wide of the most powerful and lightest weight 250 cc in the world ..they would run circles around this 250 cc 4 stroke and any 250 cc 4 strokes ..2 cycle engines produce boost in order to feed the transfer ports to force the intake charge to blow the exhaust gases out the exhaust port ..its the sound wave of the exhaust reflected off the reverse cone of the expansion chamber that keeps the supercharged intake from escaping out te exhaust port as it was quoted to me by the designer himself , "pops" yoshimura ,..i was yoshimura's apprentice
Dont know anything about him but I am familiar with elsinores of the 70's. I love 2 strokes and still ride them today.
@@UpAllNight91 without Hideo "pops" yoshimura there would never have been a Honda called the Elsinore nor would there ever have been the motorcycle exhaust company called YOSHIMURA the most famous exhaust pipes in the world today ..honda would have never had the fastest 250 and 500 dirt bikes in the world tuned by the most known tuner of all times today .. where have you been living under a rock ? you claim you dont know anything about the most known in the motorcycle industry of all brands the name yoshimura, if that is a true statement from you , you are quit uninformed
