What a great idea to sand with a nail filer. It is softer and more consistent than sand paper!

idk if you've ever heard of this but using an xacto blade to sharpen your pencils can help them not break so much. It's more time consuming but it really works my prismacolors never break. Sharpening can break the lead on the inside because the lead is so soft.

First time I'm seeing such a cool diy project I could do with my very limited artistic abilities. Good thinking with the additional resin on the back... looks much nicer and the thickness helps the charms last longer I guess.

Mod podge tends to do that, try doing a layer of clear nail polish before mid podge, idk if it will work, but you might as well try

    • @wstrong1981

Does it have to be mod podge or can we entirely replace with clear nail polish?

    • @Isabella-nn6ls

W Strong clear nail polish cracks over time and people recommend to not use nail polish for shrink plastic!

you are supposed to use the sharpie first, when you go over crayons or pencils you will notice it smears more and isnt as dark sometimes because the wax is hard for sharpie to go over. Trust me years of using these things any anything and everything i could sketch on taught me this.
