Oh my gosh, this book is the stuff of dreams. I don't know why, I guess similarly to when you thought of the Tinkerbell movies, but it just activates the back of my brain and so many shows I watched that took place in forests, and how beautiful everything was from the architecture to the fashion to the leaves and flowers always flying around inexplicably. I LOVE THIS.

While watching this, i was reminded of my own, tiny, sketchbooks/notepads (i use em as both). I have one that i planned for use for DnD things that looks really nice and cool and cost a little extra, and one from dollar tree with a fun cover. Guess which one is more used lol. There is exactly one page with an unfinished (and honestly not very good) drawing of fire in one, and I'm running out of room on the other. I should buy more time sketchbooks from dollar tree lol At first i grabbed my nice one, then i got stuck as to what i should draw (bc i am not continuing that flame). So instead i continued a feather doodle in the dollar tree pad, that will eventually look like a pheonix feather bc i hc Tango of the Tek variety as a phoenix hybrid bc wings cool and Team Ranchers be winged bois in my writing (Jimmy is obviously a canary, as per common fanon) Now i have a quill and half of a vane drawn, but i still need to fix that line lol. I can't really draw people so my (good) fanart consists of objects or symbols that represent things, like a cool clock type thing that i need to finish for Limited Life and a crown I drew for Techno a year ago that will be a tattoo someday, and now this feather that is looking pretty promising Sry my ADHD rambling got the better of me lol, i just love your creative project videos and they really make me want to create, so I started rambling about my creating as a sign of that. ADHD be weird sometimes, but i love that about me all the same lol
I feel if you used this for a Ren faire you could run around making notes and asking for people you find interesting for their accounts so you have memories of the faire That's just an idea I thought of 😭
You should try paper making sometime! It's good for recycling paper and if you get good at it, you could use it instead of old sketchbooks or printer paper. (Not forced ofc) but I personally got into paper making because of your ranboo book video because i didn't have enough blank paper. Totally recommend though!

I honestly would just have that video on a loop in the background because you're such a gosh darn delight. The book looks awesome! My two favourite things--books and trees!

This was a super cute project and I almost love it more that the leaf is felt! As someone just getting into leather myself, they apparently have leather paint! I am waiting to experiment to see if it's really any different than plain ol acrylic.

UCF's pretty cool and would highly recommend. However the bookbing class I took there was pretty simple and I think they only have the one. Still fun but don't base a whole decision of collage enrollment on that one class.
