You need to flatten them out immediately after taking them out of the oven while they're still warm. I used to use an old college textbook to get them all at once.
Yeah I definitely was in no hurry! 😂 I got my self a heat gun and that has worked much better!
@@BonesAndBlanketsStudioVlogs Nice! yay!!! yes heat guns are the best! it was a game changer once I had mines. good luck! this was a great video!
i love those little bookmarks, so cute ❤❤
Thank you, I'm really pleased with them :)
magnetic bookmarkers are my favorite kind! those turned out super cute! 🙂
I can see them becoming my new obsession! Thank you I'm really pleased with them :)
Watch lots of videos on how to do the shrink plastic, you’ll learn a lot
Hopefully you didn’t become discouraged there’s just only a couple things you need to do different and they will turn out great :)
It's a fun craft to do when you get it right. I definitely remember making loads when I was a kid, there's some nostalgia for me with it 😂
I use a heat gun to keep them warm so I can flatten them out 😊
That's a good idea! I did get a heat gun in the end. It worked so much better!
You have to keep them in the oven until they flatten by themselves. Just a few more seconds. I find it easier to use a heat gun, you have more control
Yeah how ever ling the instructions said it definitely wasn't long enough in my oven! I've got a heat gun now and it a million times.es better! 👍
i was browsing your amazon store to find the resin brand you were using in the video, but i cant seem to find it? can i ask you what brand product you use for resin? (i want to try resin for the first time and loved how shiny it looks in your video)
Ah good catch, I completely forget about that! I've added it to the store its in a red bottle as there is a blue one I use sometimes too. Resin is a fun one, I'd recommend looking up safety stuff as it can be a bit nasty especially if you get into making things from resin in moulds. But it's super useful for jewellery ect 👍
@@BonesAndBlanketsStudioVlogs thank you for answering to quickly! ill be sure to check it out, as well as the resin safety!!
@@kitteqq no problem, happy to help! Hope you enjoy resin! 🙂
The6 need to be RIGHT out thr oven when you press them flat. And your postage stamp came out wrinkly cause you took it out too soon
Sorry your shrinkies broke. Maybe you can glue them and dub them "Busted & Disgusted, but maybe can be trusted" The original is a playful saying that means you/other person is to broke/broken, tired, frustrated, or had too much drama to be helpful or trusted. lol "Broke, busted, and too disgusted to be trusted" is the phrase I've heard most. lol
That's a good one! I'd be more surprised if it had gone well and none of them broke 😂
