The thickness does slightly affect due to your grip being wider when holding the stick. The stick is still invisible but you can see a small black oval which is around half the diameter of the stick inside your grip area. For the normal invisible stick, it is also there but not so obvious.
What this "selfie stick + tripod" creates a circular black effect on the video..? Because all of my 360 video doesn't clear (without black effect) like many people.. Sorry if my English is so bad.. Thanks..🙏
I bought the new insta 360 stick (the pull version 23-120cm) that you have also in the video and added to it the folding telesin aluminium tripod. Basically the combo is lighter, thinner and i also still can use the 1/4” thread in the bottom if i want. Insta 360 should have thought of a folding tripod too...
The telesin seems like a good combination for the thinner selfie stick. I have a tripod base that folds up as well but is non aluminium which makes it heavy. It also does not flush with the stick when closed.
@L P sounds like a great idea. I'm also looking for a way to integrate a folding tripod at the base of my insta 360 standard selfie stick. I heard telesin is a great alternative but not sure which one to get. Do you mind linking the one you bought please?

can you attach a wrist lanyard and can you use the pole for snorkeling/diving? (in salt water)
On insta360 website, it is not recommended to use their selfie sticks in sea water as they are not waterproof and may rust.
