I'm 60yrs old in 2000 I adopted a baby girl when she was 6months today shes 24yrs she was abandoned shes so angry she doesn't want to know her parents I can't push bcs it seems like I dont love her so it's up to her by Gods grace I gave birth to a baby boy when I was 42yrs today his 19yrs I thank God bcs my body relaxed and I fell pregnant when she was 5yrs ❤❤
Such a bright story😊❤❤it also shows that adopted kids who have real parents don't miss their birth mom..ok I understand sometimes may be some instinct thst makes them search but generally personally It's what I noticed . I had a friend who looked jst like his adoptive mom whereas his bro who came later did not. Another friend though who didn't get along well got very angry when she found out she was adopted and left to live with her aunt
Since she is so angry, maybe if she were in counseling and when finally getting through to the REASON of her anger, the COUNSELOR ( not you ) can gently ask if she might want to discover who her birth parents are. YOU will have been removed and then with the counselor’s encouragement she can move forward and…..hopefully…..hopefully she will be more peaceful when finally discovering WHY she was given up.

I think the story at 40:58 reeks of a despicable influence from probably their toxic mother who coached them to believe that they were abandoned. I smell something fishy in that story. Definitely toxic women involved.
What happens when the birth mother and father don’t want to meet the child they gave away? What if they don’t want anyone to know that they ever had this child? What about their mental health and desires? Many of these children were given away in a time when the mother and father were promised anonymity! It doesn’t seem fair. The desire to meet needs to be mutual. The adult child shouldn’t be allowed to ruin their now much older biological parents lives because they want a connection into these people’s lives. There needs to be some sort of registry where biological parents and adoptive children can submit their desire to be contacted. Otherwise, it seems intrusive and just plain wrong!
@@Kristenm28 it’s not that simple and if they hadn’t told anyone this child existed but this child has told whoever and whatever just to find their biological parents they have caused incredible mental anxiety and anguish. A registry is the simplest and most humane way.

They just say no, I don't want to meet.

That's your opinion.
@@Kristenm28 of course it’s my opinion. What a ridiculous, inane comment!
