George, just wanted to say thank you for the time and effort you put into these reviews. I damn near bought an LBT 14L day pack but your brutal honesty in that video saved me the heartache of getting an inferior bag. Definitely, going with the Alpha One Niner! Thank you!
Having this literally changed my life. We realized early on that our baby was showing signs of colic. Well he would be miserable for hours ! This carrier soothes him so much and keeps him close to my heart. He naps in it while I work from home also. I can breast feed him while wearing it! We love it so much we purchased a second one!!
The Ultimate EDC Backpack line up right here. Loved this review George, thanks again for your time and dedication that you put into the details of each one of these packs. Great review!
George, I have seen a few of your vids in the past and found this one today. Just wanted to say I really appreciate the time you put into these reviews and the areas of focus are exactly what I am interested in. You have a really good eye for build quality. Thanks for saving me time on the relentless search for the perfect bag. Cant wait to see what else you come up with. Subscribed!
As a UA-camr I really appreciate the time of detail that you put into these videos. I love bags just as much as I love guns and gear in general. I love the fact that I am introduced to so many more bags that I never even knew existed on the market. The only one that I was familiar with was the GoRuck. I really like the number one option but for me personally I think that would be the absolute perfect travel companion for anyone who travels a lot. It seems to be the perfect size for a day trip, an 2 day trip, or the perfect carry-on size for airplane or train. Onto the next bag review.
George DEFINED I run the Axiom 18 And I’ve been using it for roughly 2 years so it’s really hard for me to find a bag that gives me the organizational capacity in the size that that bag offers. Plus I’ve got ballistic protection and it’s just a great set up
Nice video. Had the opportunity to watch a number of your videos and I've always been impressed. Listening to the description of the Greenroom you said the bag weighs 4lbs. Now, that doesn't seem like a lot, but it is. I own the Triple Aught Fast Pack EDC that weighs 4.5 and I'm 6'2" 230lbs and my first thoughts were - darn I'm going to have to watch what I pack or this bag will just be too heavy for a EDC rig. I think the same applies to the Greenroom (large), good opportunity to over pack and then you won't feel like carrying it. I have the GoRuck GR1 21L bag and your review was spot on. It's a tank, simple design and the wide shoulder straps make it a breeze to carry. I recently did a four week international trip and this was my carry on as well as my daily carry. Not a lot of organization, but fortunately, when I purchased mine I snagged a couple of GR pouches. Like the Greenroom, this bag is hefty before you load it. On my trip as a carry on, it held my IPAD, toilet kit, electronics pouch, and a small travel size CPAP
Great work as usual George! Couldn’t agree more with you on the lineup/rankings! If you’re into something a bit more outdoor/tacticool, Vanquest makes some amazing gear! I have their skycap 46 and ibex35, their quality/materials are top shelf as well!
Thanks for the review. I've used the same Swiss Gear bag for a long time, and was going to upgrade after I got to go back into the office. All of these look like excellent options! Glad I found your channel, great content.
I would love for you to review the AER Tech Pack one of these days. I like the Alpha One Niner, but man that seems just a tad bit too heavy plus their website needs ALOT of work, your video is much more informative than their own website. But nonetheless I appreciate your reviews.
"George don't ruck..." Neither do I bro 🤣. I'm really liking your videos man. Watching your videos is pretty awesome since we're about the same build and I can preview how the bag would look on me
George, just recently discovered your channel and have now watched about a dozen of your videos! I too love backpacks and your videos are great. Keep up the good reviews brother and thanks for all the info.
Still love my custom Rainmaker. To this day, I consider it one of the best looking functional backpacks. Got a custom multicam black one with Molle but without the hook and loop, so not considered the tactical version. I messed up tho, I should’ve gotten the 22L for my daily carry use. I ended up downsizing to a different backpack and use my Rainmaker for travel only now. And totally agree on the back panel. Would’ve preferred a molded back panel. The Rainmaker’s always makes me sweat.
Greetings George! You sell, extraordinarily well. Nearly purchased the Eberlestock Switch because of you (highly probable I still do) have you purchased the H31 Bandit by any chances? I'll understand if you haven't/don't. #likewise
I know I'm a little bit behind on your vids George but I just saw this one and I was wondering what flashlight you were using in your Go Ruck review (at 10:02). I really like the size and look of it! Super appreciate these reviews, keep up the good work George. Oh and I agree w/ K Smith I see your channel blowing up in no time!
Love to see your thoughts on WaterField Designs Bolt Backpack. I didn’t think it would be great but I keep going back to it as a primary backpack. It’s been around the world a few times now and is holding up way better than I expected.
I dont think your link is working for rainmaker, even though you said you don't get anything nice if we click your links anyway.. but.. thanks for the bag reviews and all your details you include for us. I am really interested in the rainmaker for my everyday work bag. I'm a girl so I have a lot of crap + all of my work stuff (1000 pens, laptop, 35 folders, 600 sticky notes, 2000 file folder tabs, 5 pairs of headphones, 3 phone cases, 5 backup power banks, 13 chap sticks.. Just kidding, but I need to be able to carry all that if I want to lol
Would you say the admin panel section has volume to slip a thicker reading book or Bible? From what I can see, it looks tighter and is strictly for stationary, knick knacks, etc.
Just found yah. Only one I've watched but I hope you have found brands like Frost river or duluth... Frost river with their padded straps is definitely better than all 3 of those imo.. send link of you have..I would love to see your opinion
Hi George, love your videos. I was so undecided for my new backpack purchase (EDC and 2-3 days travels/road trips) and your videos helped me a lot, namely the comparison between Ospreys and TNFs. I ended up ordering a TNF Borealis, safe choice I think. Unfortunately I didn’t see this video before the purchase, man those customization options on the Greenroom, you can actually make it YOURS, simple and clean style.... damn hope I don’t regret my choice
Could you get a 40oz water bottle to show how it fits in bags too? You could show the 27oz you always do plus "look it's even big enough to hold a larger water bottle (or not)"
Hey DEFINED great overview of these 3 packs. Fast forward to present day with many other packs reviewed. Would these still be your top 3? Vertx Gamut? Maxpedition Elite? I hope your channel explodes!!! Keep on keepin' on!
Thank you for this! Searching for xmas prezzies for my partner who loves a good backpack with lots of admin and organisation. You two would make the best friends :) haha. Think 1st or 3rd were my faves. Number 2, doesn't have water bottle pockets and this is a must. I've subscribed and will continue to look at your others.
Ehi George great job. Can I suggest you another top 3 for this year? It would be interesting to see your picks for several range of price, let's say under $100, between 100 and 200, and over 200. Hope to help you to create new content Keep it up
Glad I discovered your channel. I love EDC backpacks and have been carrying a Vertx Gammut original for the last year or two. Just order the Alpha One Niner Evade 1.5 after watching this.
George, love your channel. Been Bing watching lately lol. I'm on the search for a smaller EDC bag around 14L. But I really like the shirt you have on. What is it. Keep the great reviews coming man.
another great vid.. I like that you review bags that none of the other popular(100k sub) you tubers go to. I would love to see you have a look at the Thule subterra 30L. Ive tried it on at airports and it seems wonderful but I can't find any good reviews on UA-cam about it.. Keep up the good work... Go Bears... lol
George, do they send you the bags? You pay for all of these? Hopefully the channel does well for you, you put a lot of time, money, and love into this.
I bought the Alpha One Niner Evade 1.5 from your review of it. Never heard of it until i saw your review, they definitely owe you a free bag or something lol.
