Lure Making a Blade bait from solid Brass and Stainless Steel

This lure making build turned out pretty cool but it could have been much better with a little patience. I really started rushing close to the end because I was so tired from all the sawing. It has a great action in the water but I cant ever catch anything this time of the year. I’m so ready for spring!

Nice work 👌 I don't know if due to the time spent on the build you planing to create more of those lures... But would work fine to mix the brass dust with epoxy to use as a filler for the cut slots 😉

Nope I won’t be making another one of these lol. Unless I get a metal blade for my bandsaw maybe. And yes I keep the brass shaving for inlay. Usually in wood. I was just a little lazy with this one close to the end. I was worn out from all the cutting haha.

@@TreysArt That could be a fill in video at some point and would be worth watching. Some of the same skills that blend with lure making anyway ( the metal ones ). Metal can be a pain to work with compared to wood, that's why I ended up becoming a joiner/carpenter 😆 Cutting down that brass would have drove me nuts to be honest, well done for persistence and patience 10/10
