When no-one else can understand me
When everything I do is wrong
You give me hope and consolation
You give me strength to carry on
And you're always there to lend a hand
In everything I do
That's the wonder
The wonder of you
And when you smile the world is brighter
You touch my hand and I'm a king
Your kiss to me is worth a fortune
Your love for me is everything
I guess I'll never know the reason why
You love me as you do
That's the wonder
The wonder of you
I guess I'll never know the reason why
You love me as you do
That's the wonder
The wonder of you
Hey travis, here's a great song to seranade your lovely wife when the mood takes you. Seriously this is a beautiful song, sung in the zone as you say Travis, he connects and the message comes through loud and clear. man his voice is untouchable in this early vegas era, imagine this live :) wow. I'll have to settle for the wolfhunterz one day when i getb over there - but that will be pretty epic :) cheers, matt
This song was. Dedicated to his fans to show how much Elvis cared for his fans
The King!
Nearly 50 years after Elvis Presley’s death, he has still sold the most albums and singles in recorded music history.
Elvis has sold an astounding 212 million albums and another 135 million singles.
Frank Sinatra came in second with 95 million singles.
Michael Jackson finished 3rd with 79 million singles
One of a kind. Never to be equalled.
Elvis - "Take It James!" James Burton ( LEGEND ) or "Play it James!" James & Glen Hardin are the only Surviving Members of the TCB Band!!!! I Loved Seeing Glen at Elvis 88th!!!! & He was so sweet and funny with his little speech!!! Elvis said in his Rare 1972 Interview He asked: Who is the best guitar players around -- They told him Glen Campbell and James Burton -- Elvis said well Glen Campbell is Out - ( Being No way He could get Glen ) But He said too -- He auditioned hundreds for his TCB Band and wanted THE BEST but surprised him to know the ones he chose KNEW His Music / Style... Going to Vegas He wanted something totally Different --- That the Music would FILL UP the Space -- with the Background Singers - Sweet Inspirations - The Imperials & The Stamps Then too the Orchestra .... James Burton & Glen Hardin are on Facebook!!!! and I Love checking out their pages ... Glen Travels everywhere not sure if he still does but he did performing and James does too but James has been sick He is better.... Pray for James
I’m pretty sure the bass player Jerry Scheff is still alive and a few of the background singers
James Burton also played for Ricky Nelson for awhile on "The Ozzie & Harriet Show." Awesome talent! And, from interviews of heard with him on the Sirius XM Radio Elvis Channel, he seems like a really nice, down to earth great guy as well!
My boy, My boy!
Elvis spared no expense in hiring the best session musicians for his concerts.
I glad you are enjoying elvis music he can sing anything
Calamity is unavoidable...
Jojo reference
That’s Jerry Schef on bass. He’s one of the greats. He did some work with The Doors, too. Very well respected bassist. He was also one of Elvis’ dear friends.
Went to number 1 in The UK, and was a top 10 hit many places.
"It's a mug." Ha ho good one Suzy.
Elvis was blessed with 2 Rock n Roll Hall of Fame guitarists in his storied career: Scotty Moore in the 50s-60s and James Burton in the 70s. After being eclipsed by the Beatles in the late 60s, starting with the 68 Special, Presley responded with a burst of gold and platinum releases. This song was one.
The King The best The only
No one will ever equal the greatness of this man. 💕
Travis this is for did u noticed elvis little smirk when he sang the lyrics you give hope and conciliation well in rehearsal he replaced the word conciliation to constipation lol 😂 and he remembered it during the live performance! That's our elvis always keeping it fun !❤ keep it coming elvis reactions that is !❤
This was No.1 in the UK for 6 weeks in 1970
I love you guys!! Suzie you have the most beautiful smile. 😊
The TCB band were always kicking ass and always on point!!!
I was raised on Elvis because my Mom was a fan from the 50s. So I am loving your reaction videos. You guys always make me laugh and we all need more of that. Try Heart Break Hotel, Can't help falling in love and In the Ghetto ...some of my favorites
Woww elvis fire mazung thank you so much
Beautiful. Thank you Matt
Such a beautiful song! I love it! ELVIS voice is magical! Thank you!
Hi guys, I’m absolutely loving your reactions especially Elvis stuff, I used to be a professional Elvis DJ,
I wanted to hit you with a fun fact that I know you’ll appreciate, Elvis’s TCB touring band were made up of some of the finest musicians he could find and stayed with throughout the 70s, so he’s bass player was Jerry Scheff, and to prove how good these guys were, Jerry was the man responsible for that amazing bass in The Doors LA woman. So next time you play it think he plays for Elvis.
This is one of the sweetest, purest, most beautiful love songs ever written! This kind of sublime songwriting, which uplifts women instead of degrading them, needs to come back. Maybe Angelina Jordan will be the one to do it with her soon-to-be new album of her originals (fingers crossed)!
❤❤❤
Amazing reaction. Love it 💕💕💕💕
The way you say Elvis, was said that way, in the movie "Grease". Stockard Channing's character, Rizzo, sings a song, and one of the lines, is "Oh, Elvis---Elvis---let me be", and she says it just like you do; so, if you've ever seen "Grease", that's where you got the pronunciation. ❤️
Fire
check out "I’ll Remember You (Aloha from Hawaii, live in Honolulu,1973)"
I love this song! Great reaction guys
elvis king
Hey Travis listen to the song Any day Now by elvis off the album From Elvis in Memphis you will both love it Amazing vocals
Btw "hey Elvis" it's also song by Brian Adams
It's always nice to see a reaction from a true heterosexual man,..Travis.. because it brings me back to my days when my brother's would play his music and my father would listen to and even with these strong Men in my life,...they weren't afraid with his songs, along with his talents/gifts, he was 1 good looking man. There you go ...you can serenade Susie by dancing with her at the next Wedding you go to. By any chance, did you serenade her after this or have you had a moment to do so since Matt's suggestion? And Ty Matt...always a pleasure to hear your choices of Elvis.❤🎤✌🎸🎹
Yet another fun reaction to a great live performance by Elvis. Loved it all except, and it is not your fault and I know it has to happen but the 2 15 second adverts always annoyingly happen when I am fully absorbed - such is life.😊😊
"Alevas" is from the Grease
The way your pronounce Elvis is from the Milton Berle TV Show in 1956
Just catching up on all your Elvis reactions, which I'm really enjoying. Liking your different take on songs I've heard a million times. For instance, in this one I'd never even noticed the bass line by Jerry Scheff 😊 (concentrating on Elvis too much!❤)
I love Suzi's reactions to the music
Hey guys I love your reaction as always to Elvis. I saw Elvis Presley in 1975 at the Norfolk scope Colosseum which sold out in a couple hours. He did a second show and also sold out in a few hours. My favorite part about the whole concert was that song. At the end of the concert he sang the wonder of you and when he hit that last note he fell down to one knee and flung up his left hand. For the first time in the whole concert I took my eyes off of Elvis and started looking up at the Colosseum Ceiling expecting it to start unraveling. The place went completely berserk to add on to the moment. It was almost scary the way the Colosseum shook. Elvis was something!
Wow !!!
Calamity😐
Oh Travis, just grab a real plate and woo your wife !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, singing The wonder of you !!!!!!!!!!!!
Even though the words in this song are seen as a song for one person telling another what they mean to them but Elvis saw it as a religious song the wonder of you meaning the wonder of God
Yeah, no!
@@annmariering6606 yes
The only connection to it being a Gospel song was that Baker Knight, the writer of the song, had started out to write The Wonder of You as a Gospel song but by the time it was finished felt that the song had evolved from being a gospel number to being a love song, and that it had a 'Perry Come feel' to it. Elvis sang it as a love song because that’s what it was, a love song!
@@annmariering6606 well u have your thoughts and I have what I've read about from various sources in the Elvis world including Pricilla but I guess the only person who would know for definite would be Elvis himself
“Play the song, James”…Outstanding!
Up Port Vale FC our song sing it at kick off
yall can't escape calimaty
Soft and wet go beyond🫧
Too bad you didn't know you could have had 2 songs on 1 video -- "The Wonder of You" & "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me"
elvis didnt become the greatest musician by accident. His musicians were the BEST at that time. That low voice was the lowest Bass Singer in the world, he got the best guitar player, bass drummer , piano, it didnt matter to him about money, it was about being the best for his audience.
I must admit, I loathe these types of songs/music, LOL, but somehow Elvis makes it believable and still, manly. But normally, I absolutely, wholeheartedly loathe these songs. 🤣
"Will tou dance with me, Of course I will! I love you beautiful people!!!
Just one thing I’ve learned. When Elvis went on tour, there were 84 people in all. He was paying them all and covering all expenses. That included orchestra, choir, backup singers, his entourage, and stage workers. For much of his career he was in the 95% tax bracket.
All of that brings a lot of responsibility and stress.
Sure, but that was all taken care of by his managers. Elvis
didn't worry about his $ much, but he did feel responsible
for others, but i doubt if he suffered from stress of finances,
even though Uncle Sam ripped him off good.
For 97% of that, it appears as if there was absolutely zero effort on Elvis' part. I can't count how many times I've said that about his entire career and although I didn't even exist yet to see him, I have researched him my entire life and can confidently say this. Everything was so seamless and dangerously potent, it's surreal. Like the perfect mistake was made and it was phenomenal. The scariest part is, I honestly don't think Elvis actually ever truly went pedal to the metal at full blast. Like he knew it just wasn't necessary.
The dinner tables in front of the stage , that Elvis very much did not like are long gone and replaced with regular seating. The big booths had also been removed from the showroom but if you were to go there today the booths are back since the last major remodel. The hotel with that showroom formerly the International and formerly the Hilton is now the Westgate in GIRILas Vegas.
Love your Elvis reactions!! You are a fun couple
No one ever looked or sounded better than Elvis kids.
There is a rare clip of Elvis rehearsing this song where he sings: "You give me hope and constipation..." So now every time I hear this song...
You two are the cutest ever. Beautiful Elvis, wow, the hair the skin, the eyes the voice, gee whiz what a loss when he left us. Thanks for this great reaction. Be Blessed.
LOVE YOU TWO...ALWAYS AMAZING!! 😍
Love this song 🎵
Calamity will come
Yeaaaaa!!! Keep up the Elvis songs. Love love love yalls reactions. 💕💕💕💕
The accented “Elvis,” was from Lisa Marie would mimic the fans. She’d call her daddy sometimes. Elvis would laugh, but told her to call him daddy.
Funny,he one time sang hope and constapation, and could almost not stop laughing himself.
zymjams says this is his favorite Elvis song
As Always Love Seeing Your Reactions To Elvis Presley Guy's
Thanks Matt
You really owe it to yourself to get away from the typical Elvis songs that everyone has heard and know Elvis by only these songs. Try “we can make the morning”. I’ve actually had this song on repeat for like a week straight and few times! Another one, “when I’m over you”. I’ve repeated this one many days in a row as well. Ooh, ooh! How about “where do I go from here”. “If I were you”, “I’m coming home”. There are so many that I do t understand why they didn’t become popular. Enjoy the ride!
Still the King
U guys are great.....thank u
