Boomer here. Been an Elvis fanatic for 65 years ❤️. There was nothing he couldn't sing and make it greater. The king 🤴 forever.
Been a Elvis fan for the same amount of years and still listening to his music!
OKAY BEEN LOVIN HIM
LONG TIME TOOO.. ALSO LOVE THIS NEW GENERATIONS GETTING
TO K OW HIM😊
Elvis always felt the emotions of every song he sang. In this one when he sings "get it off my shoulders", he bends at the waist as if there's a weight on his shoulders. It's these little things that make him the best singer/entertainer in the world.
Wow ,the way Elvis sings ,you can just see the passion ,and emotion ,and the power in his voice ,just makes you feel it
He even went and signed an autograph during the guitar break. Walked back over and belted out again. I haven't seen anyone who can go from talking, etc., back to singing like nothing happened.
Elvis raw vocals give me chills only a few artist have that.
The King ever.
Elvis was amazing! He sure could sing and his stage presence was incredible!
Man he was Great . His voice and the way he feels the song bending over when he says “get it off my shoulder” I Uv it !
Elvis is the man. Nobody better.
His hand jesters at the end he always tells the group to watch him ...thats when the back up singers got high
This man could sing any kind of music so versatile ! The king thank you Patric more Elvis please ❤
Elvis hits the notes perfectly for this song and this song makes me cry and tear up everytime
Yay! Another Elvis song! 👍😊👊 I love his beautiful baritone voice. Nice song. Powerful rendition. Tks Patrick. 🔥🥇👍📀
Thanks for bringing us more Elvis and more of your kind words for someone that was the best at what he did.
Elvis was AMAZING! Honestly!!
Isn't HE THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!! HE IS SO TALENTED IN ALL WAYS? Thank you for carrying on his legacy.
Perfection, thy name is Elvis! Incredible performance! Awesome reaction, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it
Elvis can sell anything he sings, his vocals are always impeccable! He goes from low to high and back down again effortlessly! Love your reactions to Elvis! 😊
Elvis is the G.O.A.T & he just owned the stage & commanded your attention with his voice & performance....TLC ❤
Elvis had a fantastic band and he was a master arranger during rehearsals. His body movements were used like conductor’s baton.
Right! I also like that about Elvis. He's a true artist. :)
ALL CAN SAY ..HE'S A DIAMOND IN THE SKY.
ELVIS I HOPE YOU FEEL ALL THE BEUTIFUL AUDIENCE STIĹ LOVING
YOU.❤ NOBODY CAN TOUCH YOU..ALWAYS❤😊
FROM VEGAS 1970 / WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES/ IT IS CERTAINLY A MESSAGE. SOMEONE HELP GiVE A LINK 💥... 1973 HAWAII / I'M SO LONESOME I COULD CRY/ THANK YOU ELVIS FANS..✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Thats probably how Elvis felt to make everything go away
Love this performance! The studio version is equally gorgeous, if not even better!!❤❤
I prefer this live version over the studio one, the power and emotion is just incredible 😍😍😍
LOVE IT. NOBODY CAN DO LIKE THE MAN ELVIS..❤
A great reaction to the awesomeness that is Elvis. He produced his performances and was not only the singer, but also the conductor with his musicians ( always the best) and his backing singers, ( always the best) watching him like a hawk to react to his moves and his voice. Especially as he would often be spontaneous and change something or keep going for longer.
Love that you see the Elvis that we fans have known and loved for 7 decades. 💕🕺👌🙏
Wow. Really? Yes, I could tell he was conducting the band as well. I've noticed that about him when I do other reactions by Elvis. Such a great talent that we really should all cherish. At the end of the day no matter what people say when Elvis hits the stage it's all his doing. The man is one of the greatest of all time. :) I truly enjoy reacting to Elvis.
AMEN ❤❤
@@awordfrompresidentpat1484 the people who “say “ ugly stuff about Elvis don’t actually know a thing about the man. They are just picking up fag ends of nonsense they’ve heard over the years, starting back in 1056 when he changed , not only music for ever , but racial views that were so divisive in those times. Do watch “Elvis and the Black Community ” 1&2 to hear truthful accounts. So many reactors say they only knew Elvis as a racist who stole music , wore sunglasses and funny suits, and died of a drugs overdose. The caricature of the man.
They are actually ashamed to find out for themselves psycho how Elvis broke down the barriers to segregation and had did not ever see colour in a person, only their talent or their needs. He always gave credit ( in print on his record labels to the owners of the songs he sang, which ensured they earned money from his success giving them exposure they’d never have ghastly otherwise. He had to wear sunglasses because he had the degenerative eye disease, Glaucoma , which meant bright lights hurt his eyes. ( so he made sunglasses Cool!!) His “ Funny Suits” were actually works of art and designed so that he could perform freely on stage with his Karate moves and beats to the songs, and they made sure all his audiences ( his venues always sold out 2 or even 3 shows a day!) could see him clearly. He died , not from street drugs ( as implied by the press, but from his dependence on prescription meds that enabled him to function and treated his glaucoma, his ulcerative colitis, his joint pain and his congenital enlarged heart ( all his mother’s side of the family died at young ages ) as now his own daughter has died recently. 😔🙏
So…… please find out for yourself with an open mind what a legend Elvis was and still is. You will not ever find any documentation or recordings of Elvis being anything but honest, humble and grateful towards his fans and his employees who stayed with him right to his end. 🙏👌💕🕺
I have an important request for Elvis...his death date is coming up Aug.16th. Its thumbnail is AMERICAN TRILOGY ORIGINAL 1972. Its shows the impact of his death to the world! You'll see & have tissues.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love this reaction to Make the World Go Away!! Hes is so talented! There will never be another! TCB ⚡
Perfect Request - I was 10 When Elvis Passed Away - I found My Parents Crying which confused me - and they told us kids We all cried and watched his funeral - I will never forget that day - Constantly the news on all 3 Channel ( That's all we had ) it was constant with the TV News Reporting it -- Even at 10 I felt SO SAD -- My Life was Elvis with My Parents -- 45's LP's / Albums Elvis singing Radio Elvis -- Watching his movies on TV -- My Daddy had Elvis sideburns into the early 80's -- RiP Daddy
Pure brilliance!
The guitar player is James Burton, who is still with us.
Elvis just loved to sing and his fans meant the world to him.
The thing that IMHO make Elvis the GOAT of GOATS (and I really like many mucicians like MJ, The Beatles, Eminem, Pavarotti, AC/DC) are , he mastered so many genrers perfectly; blues, rockabilly, rock n roll, Gospel, country, pop, semi opera and he had a stage mannerism not seen before or after (not coregraphed, but just pure natural energy), he could do everything with his voice; hit high or low notes, wisper, , graul, smooth , rasp, powerfull and he had a cool way about him; funny, humble, cool, exiting. Also when he got into the music he always lost himself in it.
Thank you,thank you, very much.God ,bless you, ❤The G.O.A.T.🕺🎸🎤🇵🇷🇺🇲👍👊✌🙏
Great reaction for a great, great song. What else can we say? The King.
Elvis Story Time - In His 1972 Interview ( 45 Minutes ) He talks about hand picking the TCB Band -- and He asked who is the BEST Guitar Player - They said Glen Campbell - He says well He's Out - Glen was big then -- Someone mentions James Burton - Well He auditioned so many but James just stood out and He knew all of Elvis's songs -- and James was worried about the pink Fender Telecaster -- what Elvis would think but He loved it -- My Daddy had a Fender Jazzmaster Electric -- LOVE HOW HE PERFORMS THIS SONG SO MUCH EMOTION --
Oh nice! It's always good to hear the back story of these performances. The entire band, backup singers and Elvis really did an amazing job! :)
Bravo baby..that's the TOTAL package right there! I love how you appreciate him..
Background was Kathy Westmoreland
My fav elvis live performance song ever just so gooooooood
S had it all. Elvis could sing it all the best.
He could sing from a telephone book… I would love it!
A great reaction, thank you from an old fan, since 1976.
I am 72 years old and been an Elvis fan since 4 years old. You can't comment on enough Elvis music, voice and charisma!!!
Me too!
Kathy Westmorland is the high pitched woman in Elvis background singer,
When it comes to Elvis Presley. I'd say try and find another one. There quite simply isn't anyone else. He was a one off. A gift from the gods never to be equaled
Love your reaction! So glad younger music lovers are getting to experience this great music. I bet Elvis never realized how popular he would still be after all these years! Such a great performer.❤❤💘💘💘
So true!
You want to see a BOSS leave a stage can't help falling in love from 1969 and Elvis on tour 1972
Patrick…you are my FAVOURITE reactor to Elvis songs…I get excited when I see you released a new one❣️
Thank you!
@@awordfrompresidentpat1484 Patrick, this is my first request….would love for you to react to Elvis singing “My Boy” (studio version). It will capture your heart …you will not be disappointed. Also, pay no mind to whoever says you talk to much….you speak from the ❤️. Can’t wait and so excited….look forward to your reaction pop up on my notifications . Sending you love and light from Canada ❣️
I love the passion he sings with in every song. The great James Burton on lead guitar. The band and all the back up singers...
Fantastic!!! Thank you for reacting to Elvis songs and helping keep his legacy alive.
Thank you and of course.
Classy reaction to a classy song. Quite right to ignore the rubbish that is spoken and written about Elvis as it would seem from those closest to him he was a genuine, fun and giving guy with no racial bias.
Thank you so much!!!!
This song is masterpiece! ELVIS voice so beautiful, his vocals range is phenomenal! He could sing anything! He felt every word ! Thank you so much for this fantastic reaction!
He makes it look so easy!
Great reaction to an awesome song nobody could sing or can sing like Elvis the passion and emotion just fantastic thank you Pat 😊
Of course. :). Glad you enjoyed.
Beautiful! Love this song with Elvis singing it. He is so good to look at also . 4:25
The KING. Amazing reaction. More please 💕💕💕💕
The song was originally done by Eddy Arnold and up until Elvis I thought it would never be surpassed!!!
Thank you Patrick for sharing☮️ Talented Elvis, beautiful song ❤️
Thank you. Great song💯⚡❤
TROLL!
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 takes one to see one, eh old boy....lol 😂
@@Elvista well lets not forget, you are the one that called me a troll for commenting on Elvis comments. So I called you out. And now you have the title of being a TROLL FOREVER! BOOM ! I WIN!
He lost his mother whom he dearly loved. He draws into that.
The doctor here. This rendition makes my top 3 Elvis songs. Just a wonderful performance. The back up soprano singer is Kathy Westmoreland. His male group was The Imperials then JD Sumner and the Stamps quartet.
Millie Kirkham was with Elvis when TTWII was filmed so was on this - Kathy replaced her after TTWII was filmed when he went on tour and thereafter.
Elvis, that is all.
Love your reactions to Elvis. You are so on point on his vocals, passion, and performance.
Thank you so much!
As Elvis got older and Elvis right from the start wanted to be a ballad singer and my word he was the best at it such emotion ❤ and feeling you just felt he was singing to you personally the one and only never to be bettered. Great reaction thanks alot😊
Amazing Elvis reaction. One of my favorites ❤
Written by Hank Cochan...Ray Price recorded in 1963 went to No.2 on the Billboard charts Eddy Arnold had a bigger hit with the song in 1965 a signature song for him and his only top ten pop hit. Elvis does a great cover of it.
Elvis chose his band, The Guitarist is called called them the TCB Band (Taking Care of Business, Elvis' motto) The guitarist is James Burton, Ronnie Tutt on Drums, John Wilkinson Rhytm guitar, Jerry Sheff Bass. Glen D Hardin (piano) although sometimes some musicians were changed if they had other stuff on - He also used Joe Gershwin and his orchestra.. His backing singers were called the sweet inspirations, for a short while when he went to vegas 69 Whitney Houstons Mom Cissy Houston was a member of that group. He had a full Gospel Quartet also The Imperials, with JD Sumner singing Bass, all very respected musicians in their own rights. JD was someone elvis saw sing as a kid he would sneak into his shows and told JD one day i will have you singing for me... Elvis kept true to that... The high Voice singing in this performance was liekly Millie Kirkland, later a lady called Kathy Westmoreland took that spot. Every single one of them have nothing but good to say about Elvis. Infact, he refused to perform one time because someone there ahd a problem with his backing ladies being Black and he told them no them no me! There is a lot of lies about elvis being supposedly racist, far far from it as people who actually knew him would attest too.. so much about this man that the world needs to know x
Elvis sang and recorded so many songs it would be difficult to talk about them all. The ones not showcased much we fans call hidden gems. I recently heard Elvis singing the first time ever I saw your face and was blown away by it. The most beautiful rendition of that song in my opinion
A big Country Hit for Eddie Arnold. Elvis adds his touch of flair that Makes it his own... from the February 1970 engagement at the International Hotel. Another live performance of this song by Elvis can be heard on Elvis On Stage... February 1970. Live in Las Vegas.
Kathy Westmoreland is the backup singer you're hearing so clearly. Elvis used to always introduce her as "the little girl with the beautiful high voice". She was petite but that voice packed a punch.
I saw Elvis in concert twice, '73 & '74, & his rapport with his band & backup singers was a highlight of the show. So much mutual respect on that stage was as evident as the talent.
Btw..this song had been a hit twice in the 60's for 2 popular Country singers..Ray Price & Eddy Arnold. I was a little girl & didn't like Country music but I remember that song's popularity & my dad loved it.
Thanks, Pat, for more Elvis. I always appreciate your thoughtful analysis & commentary.
Much love from Kentucky.
💙💫💙💫💙💫💙💫💙💫💙💫💙
In 1970 it was still Millie Kirkham. Kathy started in 71 I think? Most reactors miss the beautiful voices of the Sopranos that Elvis had on stage with him 😊
oh wow. That's interesting and very informative. I can tell that Elvis really respected and appreciated his band and singers. It's reflects during the performances. I can see how happy they all are when they perform with Elvis. Thank you so much for letting me know more about the voices in the background. :)
@@trishf3576 Kathy W. replaced Millie K. in 1970. I don't know what month, but after the conclusion of TTWIS tour.
Thank you for reacting to Elvis us fans, especially the older fans like myself, sincerely appreciate it
You are more than welcome!
Absolutely love this song!! Not heard very often. Fabulous Elvis
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC REACTION MY MAN! 🤜🤛
Glad you enjoyed
Thank u ,Thank u very much 💓
I love your Elvis reactions. It is so great to watch you respond to his voice and emotion. I relate so closely. Thank you for this one, it is one of my favorites. 👏❤️❤️❤️
It was such a great song and performance. Glad you enjoyed it!
This particular song reached into my soul as well. Amazing how when we delve into learning the person and the genius. We then start to love the man. Hope you are doing well. Thought I would touch base. Listen to Hurt 1977in concert and How Great Thou Art 1977 live weeks before he left this world. Brilliance is defined by these performances. 🙏❤️
Thank u for not being political.it should be all about music.❤
Elvis's wonderful lead guitarist, James Burton, is still alive and still playing
Elvis was the greatest!!!!
Pres Pat ... love that in your way paying tribute to the greatest of all times...ELIVIS...don't ever stop
He was truly special his voice was phenomenal 🙏🌹♥️
There isn’t now, hasn’t been in the past, nor will there ever be another singer/entertainer so capable of putting emotion, meaning and true soul capturing experience with what he performs!!!! HE IS THE MUSIC AND THE MUSIC IS ELVIS PRESLEY !!!!! His childhood created within him the power to make music so very powerful and real and emotional for all of us to be able to also feel the power within each song so THANK YOU ELVIS FOR LEAVING US SUCH A LEGACY !!!!!!!!
Listen to take my hand precious lord
Я не знаю английский, но по вашей реакции вы любите песни ЭЛВИСА. Я очень люблю его песни, и как он поёт. И ЭЛВИСА тоже люблю.
My boy my boy, this is singing men. Not normal❤
I agree with everything you say, this song is not very well known but its pure magic, Elvis pours his heart and soul into this, raw emotion and passion. You can feel his pain .Absolutely superb
Probably this song for Priscilla .
@@user-ls1yu7cz2d you need to hear it's midnight shout out to Cilla.. That was 73 after the divorce, now that's pure emotion..
@@bluebuddy46422 I think I remember hearing that. It’s so sad! Even with Elvis’s faults he was a good man and needed his family with him.
Way he said “remember” sounded like what MJ said that word decades later
Thankyou Pat. Loved your reactions to this 😘.
You’re welcome 😊
Elvis has a wonderful voice, a wonderful human being, 2nd to none stage presence, Some of his better songs in my opinion are the lesser known... I don;t think there is actual live performance of it but.... My Fave is worth a listen, especially if you love a good lyric... "We Can Make The Morning"
Tanto sua reação foi show como elvis deu um show👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
Great reaction
Listen to Elvis sing Just Pretend!! My favorite❤️
Whitney Houston’s Mom was his back up singer❤️
I saw Elvis six times in concert and every show was electrifying. The most dynamic voice that ever recorded.
Elvis was the best . No one will ever come close to him . He will live forever .
There will never be anyone that will even come close to Elvis. He was one of a kind he put everything into his music heart soul emotions. He could had away to make him fill the song. He was absolutely beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤
اعظم فنان على مر العصور لم ولن يتكرر الملك بدون منازع
Ty Pat it upset me people hating on Elvis and you made me realize pay them no mind and just listen to this Beautiful man just sing Beautiful song's thank you again ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Whitney Houston Mom ( Cissy Houston ) Was Elvis Back Up Singer from 1969-1977
The high singer is Kathy Westmoreland. Great reaction. thank you
Elvis has lived Eighty eight years even if it wasn’t on earth. No one has has lasted this long with music and his other talent God gave him. Unbelievable.
I am 70 and I was raised on the music of Elvis and my kids and grandkids now know who is was (is) ! I love his songs and he has NEVER done a bad song !!! Wish we had more artists like this today ❤❤❤❤❤
Elvis deserves credit for the musical arrangements. He was a perfectionist and demanding. He would repeat or re-take until pleased. He would always acknowledge the musician or singer who performed a solo piece with his receptive smile.
Elvis on tour outtakes what to know about Elvis
G.O.A.T.
I'm another Elvis fanatic (since I was 15 & he started his journey in 1955). This is my first introduction to your reaction videos. Gotta say you did a phenomenal job. You "get" him & show it. And you seen open to learn more from our often encyclopedic knowledge of him & his awesome background support (from comments you made to our comments). Loved it. Thank you. I have subscribed & will be seeking out more of your reaction videos.
