    I wanted to share how I add dimension back into my clients who have gray hair and why you should NOT use bleach on their hair, but what I use instead of bleach for highlights on gray hair.

    2 yrs ago I decided to embrace my gray. My lady did the same thing for my hair the lowlights and highlights to blend in the grey. She re did my hair every 6-8 wks. She did a terrific job like you did on this lovely lady. I haven’t seen her in a year because she moved but I still get compliments on my hair. Great video, thank you!

    If you use permanent, how do you deal with the grey regrowth? I mean you can't cover the same hairs each time the client comes to get her hair done..I want to do this but I don't understand how would the stylist deal with that? Thanks for any suggestions

    That’s what I’m doing with my grey hair ...low lights. I really prefer that on me versus the all grey look. Each person is different in terms of how they accomodate all grey hair. A lot of it has to do with skin tone, facial structure, makeup and the color of the grey. My natural grey looks mousy and dull without the lowlights. Thanks for the video!

  • @t.s.5206

    This particular color concept looks great on this client! Seems like a brilliant way to add dimension. The truth is "some" people look okay to possibly great with gray hair and some woman really look really unattractive/unappealing with their gray out. People won't tell you the truth, so you have to critically assess yourself. Yes, it may be easier, less bother and hassle, less expensive, but realize people size up a person by their appearance (hair) immediately, for better or worse. Silver usually looks good, but not all hair grays to silver.

      @theotherkangaroo 5 років тому +1

      Trish, so true! I have finely textured hair which is naturally med/dark ash brown. I have played with the color since I was 16 just because I prefer more diminsion. I now have grey/white at temple/hairline which only makes my hairline look like it's receding! Nobody needs that! 😂 Most going grey women I've seeen on YT went grey really early, so I can understand getting sick of covering it. Many also seem to have thicker hair than I have. I get high & low lights & get the roots colored in between -- prefer the look on me. Costly but I'll continue as long as I can afford it!

    • @jamilgotcher5456
      @jamilgotcher5456 5 років тому +1

      I agree that no one will be truthful on these gray hair grow out reveal videos. All the comments on every single video is about how great they look and blah blah blah. It reminds me of when Rachel convinced that girl to go bald on Friends and told her great she looked like that LOL. I also agree how some women can look stunning with their grey hair and some women just look, washed out, tired and much older with their gray hair. But you'll never see anyone be truthful in the comment section if they do look old and tired with their grey hair.

    Love this and I waiting a couple more years to go grey, so I hope my hairdresser can do something like this as going grey with fine hair makes me look bald.

    You’re the color master I’ve been looking for! I want to transition slowly to grey. I know nothing about hair coloring but I’ve tried to ask colirists how to look nice w/o looking old lady grey. It has cost a fortune; and I’ve got nothing. The supposedly best colorists, I feel, dont know what to do. Wish I could find you! This lady is beautiful. What I am wanting to do if I can find right colorist!

    This is fantastic! Thank you! Do you know anyone in Sydney who you would recommend? I'd love some low lights as I transition! Thank you

    Would someone please list the exact products used? I'd like to take the list to my stylist, but I don't understand or speak salon-language.
