One thing I think it would be nice to see in your bow reviews is a description of the valley or lack of one. That is a make it or break it trait in a bow for me. Other than that, nice reviews.
Thank you for the awesome video as always. I was really looking to see if it would be much of improvement over the Solution SS I bought from you earlier this year. So I really appreciate your comparison to that bow and answered the questions I had. Please keep up the great work and awesome information you continue to share.
I just wanna give MFJJ (hope that stands for “My Friend Josh Jones” and not what it sounds like 🤷🏽♂️😂🥴) a huge “shout-out!” for giving the most honest reviews I’ve seen out there on all of these lying bow companies and their falsified specs! If you want the truth - look on his YT site for whatever bow and the closest thing there is to the truth! If your a fan boy looking for smoke and mirrors!?! Well, he’s def not gonna spoon feed you the garbage these companies are trying to! Keep holding them accountable Brother!
Awesome channel. Really helps me in choosing a bow. I live near Montreal, Canada. Really don’t have much choice in bow shops up here. They don’t even let us shoot them before we buy one. Thank you!
I have a buddy that shoots for BowTech he got me one and cannot wait to shoot it I do live on the east coast and Hunt Whitetail so hopefully your assessment of it is spot-on
Ever shot an Athens Bow? Never saw them until this year very good looking bow and from the reviews they are dead on with their advertise specs which is nice to see would like to see your thoughts on one
Really like your reviews. I think they are honest and i like the fact you don't beat around the bush on calling manufacturers out for the fluff. Any chance you will review some Athens Archery stuff. Would live to hear your opinion on the Vista lineup!
I love how honest you are. That means a lot to us listeners. I love forward to your reviews more than any other because of that! Can you do the new bear Refine? I wonder how it compares to the top brands.
Dang Josh! Do any of the bow companies ever tell the truth about their specs?!?!? I just wish that one of these companies would step up and tell the truth, instead of stinking lies! I myself would have so much respect for that company than all of the rest considering the present way things are done! The fan boys thrive on these lies so they just keep on lying to each other! Seriously, which company was the closest to the truth?!?!
I love your videos and how straight and honest you are. I was in a BowTech pro shop just a few hours ago and shot this bow and the reckoning. I didn't spend too much time there since it was a spur of the moment trip and wasn't planned. Wish I could have shot both of them at the exact same setting so I can get a better feel for them. I like them both but can't really decide on which way I want to go. I shoot targeting as well as hunting, even though I'm new to hunting. Most of my shooting will be target. Even hoping to get into some 3D. Although, I always prefer lightweight and compact in any type of weapon that's meant to be packed Or aimed for any form of duration at extension in the arms. Surprisingly, both bows felt fairly similar in weight to me. At least there was no glaring moment where the reckoning seemed very heavy to me. Anyone have any advice on which direction I should go?
I love how informative your videos are on the REAL specs do you think you can do one on the new hoyt carbon turbo series curious on the actual speeds and your opinion on the feel
Hi I'm French, first of all thank you for all the videos you make, it's great work. I have a quick question, I'm looking to buy a right-handed bowtech cp 28 power 50/60# color FLAT DARK EARTH. There are no more in Europe. Do you know an archery that could send one to France? THANKS.
I would love to see a review of the Bear Refine EKO. They're going for flagship prices so I'm curious how they compare to the flagships from the premium brands
I know this is not anything to do with this bow review but I was curious on ur thoughts on the bowtech realm X been shooting it since new in 2018 and I absolutely love the bow
This is one huge reason why I like xpedidtion archery bows because if they say it’s shooting 336 fps is gonna be darn close to that speed if not within a few fps they released a bow called smoke that they didn’t give a ibo speed and mine shot 348 fps with a 367 gn arrow at 30 inch draw 71 lbs and it shot 286 fps with a 500 gn arrow thats fast and I’m blowing through every animal I shoot got a nice mature doe opening morning she was quartering away hard and I shot way far back blew through her butt and came out of her chest
Mfjj - I have a short draw 25 inch and I pull back 50 pounds MFGJ what do you think is the best short throw boat out there for someone who is like 5 foot three now Matthews does not come in a short draw except for the prima so I will be looking at the Hoyt venom 30 Or this CP 28 the new prime in line doesn’t have a short roll so I’m torn do you have any advice thank you great video excellent I watch yours only
I know this has nothing to do with the CP28. But just curious if the BowTech solution set on comfort is easier to draw than the Matthews V3x 29? Thanks
Again...BT going to the drags with the same old Pinto thinking it's gonna win with RT and speed. Come on BT! The ONLY innovative thing they've come out with in the past years is the Dead Lock Cam System. Other than that it's a big YAWN from me with these 2 new mods you reviewed this morning.
Has there ever been a bow that shot faster than published? I'm guessing no.. I don't understand the point of embellishing, especially when chronographs exist.
Wish western hunters would not bottleneck eastern hunters as treestand and close shot shooters. I hunt the ground all the time and take 60-80 yards shots often with great success. Plenty of open areas with no trees to hunt around this side of the country.
I live in Michigan and our bean fields in the south part of the state are as vast as anything out there. I personally killed two bucks at 50 yards last year and a doe at 67. We need accuracy here too.
I mean ibo is up to 80lbs (bows become more efficient as weight goes up) 5 grains per pound and ibo is calculated with an unfletched arrow aswell , it’s literally why no bow you will test will ever hit ibo come on MFJJ you know this
So you’re saying they make 1 of every bow set at 80lbs just to get a higher ibo speed? It makes perfect since that a large company would do that for marketing reasons, I just don’t see how they get away with it when they don’t offer that particular bow in an 80lb setting
@@silentassassin1108 yes go read the actual ibo standard , it is NOT , I repeat is NOT 30/70/350 . They are allowed to use up to an 80 lb bow , + /- on draw length and yes an unfletched arrow .
@@silentassassin1108 ATA measurement Hoyt used to use is actually much more strict and reliant, IBO postings are false flag propaganda like your govt spews . But people don’t do their own reading and understand logically !
Those limbs look nearly past parallel, so I bet the riser is long for a 28" bow. Nice looking bow model. Thanks for your honest reviews.

Love you honest reviews!! Keep doing this great job! Paying that much $$$$ for a bow isn't something we all can afford. Appreciate your help!!

I love your videos Mfjj I would love to know what you will be shooting this year

I wanna see the Athens vista...seen others do it but no one reviews like MFJJ!!
Hamskea is releasing a integrated rest I believe.
don't want SS I want more speed in short ATA bow! damn bow tech LOL
What does comfort setting mean vs performance? How does draw cycle compare to 2021 v3 from Matthews which i bought last yr? TY
Hi, MFJJ. Just wondering if you've ever done a review of the new Bear Adapt bow?
Is there a bow on the planet that actually shoots as fast as they say it does?
Exactly! I myself just wish one of these companies would tell the truth!
PSE EVO NXT 31 outperformed it's IBO specs
Bow hunter planet shot the same bow at 29/70 at 324! That is on par.
👍
you should short to 24 ind d.l to see how fast shoot
If I wanted to further my technician education is there a school or certificate class you would recommend?
I hear CP28 is more efficient at lower drawl length? Have your Elk Shape boys try it out 27" drawl and check it out. Thanks
You getting your hands on any Athens to test? Preferably Vista 31
Hey have you guys done any Bear bows the new ones especially
Jeeze did Bowtech make anything that was accurately advertised this year?
Will you be getting a new Hoyt Highline to put through a review?
Another short bow, more companies seem to be jumping on this bandwagon. at least they also made a few adult bows as well.
please review the Bowtech SR6
Need links everywhere, in the about page, in the description.

Check out the Bowtech solution SD
I know this has nothing to do with the CP28. But just curious if the BowTech solution set on comfort is easier to draw than the Matthews V3x 29? Thanks
Yes
Yooooo revolt XL review boss.
we all know you'll get 8-10fps after your strings break in though.

Oh crap. This one too!? I just commented on your CR350 review :( very disappointed

Surprised nobody has sued a bow company over false advertising about speed . Use to love bowtech bows , now I won't touch them
So you're not going to touch any of the bow's in the market? Because they all are guilty of fudging their speed spec.
Every chrono reads different too you can take 5 different chronos and get 5 different readings. All chronos lie to some degree im convinced too
Jump on that "sue happy train" !🤣🤣 Bet you that you will lose.
Looks like you’ll never be shooting another bow again 😢
I am sick of the bullshit smoke and mirror marketing, lying about bow weights and speeds
I mean ibo is up to 80lbs (bows become more efficient as weight goes up) 5 grains per pound and ibo is calculated with an unfletched arrow aswell , it’s literally why no bow you will test will ever hit ibo come on MFJJ you know this
but bowtech only has one bow thats 80lbs and it was also released today
@@silentassassin1108 yup , and you missed the point

Shot this today, YUK. It’s not good and it feels like a kids bow
What's the msrp on there bows?
1199$ for this model
@@wcwcgarner2717 that's not bad just wish they would have come out with some better improvements.
Bow is quiet
Yay, another stupid short ata bow!!!
