Dear Creative Shrimps, the course has been officially released! blendermarket.com/products/photogrammetry-course creativeshrimp.gumroad.com/l/photogrammetry-course
Thank you so much, my friends, for your interest in our products and generally for your support! It motivates/enables us to keep going! :) See you in the course! :)
@@GlebAlexandrov I would imagine. I just left a post on FB, but as you are here, I said - I have signed up and can't wait. I run a Mac, so Reality Capture becomes a problem. I do have Blender, Cinema 4D and Agisoft Metashape Pro, so hope that works.
I am most liking your Space VFX Tutorials I got the most value out of it and it was the most fun to me. The money is still worth it today. Now I have become quite an advanced user in blender, so that your modeling course was not so great for me and I know at least a good portion about Photogrammetry. Still pre ordered in the hope I will learn a really nice workflow and and get some issues rid off. Regardless of whether I learn a lot or just a little, I enjoy your tutorials a lot because of many reasons and it's always fun to follow. Can't wait to watch everything and try it out! I've already chosen a great industrial area to try everything out. Looking forward!
"I've already chosen a great industrial area to try everything out" - that is a good start definitely. So much in photoscanning depends, obviously, on the location/object and its unique character.
Уже многих нет зданий (и кварталов), только в виде 3д моделей и остались. Странное чувство, сохранять слепки городской реальности в таком виде, и не менее странно видеть другие миры, собранные из этих воспоминаний.
These kinds of comments are exactly what help us where to place our focus. The Space VFX Course is hugely important to us, we'll be taking a good solid look at what exactly we're doing with that course right after this one :)
Erindale, that's the thing I'm most interested about, to be honest. It would be unbelievable if our course helped someone to unlock the potential of photoscanned techniques. It would be terrific.
Could not come in a better time! I am producing my graduation project (a short/film) and we are using photogrammetry. This course will help us a ton. Thank you!!
I KNOW this course is gonna make me do a jump in quality and efficiency in both blender and even photography. For me proof of this is that all the assets are low poly game ready, which is something that I always struggle with in my projects...
Everyone struggle with it, because that involves retopology, baking and so on, the difficulty ramps up quickly in the game-ready assets workflows. Hopefully, we make it somewhat manageable or at least clarify the main concepts surrounding this workflow :)
Great work on putting this course together. The video teaser is so well made I have watched it repeatedly, even love the soundtrack. I watch that trailer and see if I can see something new. The little rat scurrying into frame from the right hand side is something that I had missed when initially viewing. I’ve bought the course, cannot wait. Exactly what I need.
I'd be interested to know, whether you change your opinion after watching the course - namely, whether it'll meet your expectations. I sincerely hope so, but we're always open to critique as well :)
@@GlebAlexandrov I will let you know but I’m certain your course will cover everything. I’m very new at photogrammetry and have only opened up Reality Capture three times. I had it open yesterday and really wanted to know about all the options and started to find the UA-cam videos Reality put up but then I thought I only have another two days and I can follow your tutorial all the way through.
The Maya shmucks: oNlee MaYa iZ prOdUKSHUn ReDII soFTwERe! Hopefully courses like these will prove it's a matter of skill and creativity and not software. Since this goes into the higher end of making assets, whereas many Maya users will go about commenting how only Maya is the valid tool to build proper assets.
I take this as a complement, Soufiane! thank you so much, that sounds really encouraging (although it looking *so real* is a little bit creepy as well, I admit).
I hope that the quality bar isn't getting lower indeed, at least we're trying hard to not allow that happen - with the help of the peer reviews, general quality control (critiquing the hell out of each other basically :D) and so on.
Pre-ordered! I almost bought the space VFX as well last week, but then I realised that it's a bit outdated (version wise). Do you think you'll update old tutorials?
Thanks!!! That means a huge amount and helps us immensely! :) Regarding the Space VFX Course as it happens we have been discussing this and testing the ideas during this year. We'll definitely be taking a good solid look at what we're doing with that course right after this one :)
I'd like to buy this course but wondering if the year gone by since released will make a huge difference in workflow with the latest versions of all the software? Seems pretty freaking awesome!
@@GlebAlexandrov guys..... wow! Just coming to the tail end of Chapter 1 and I gotta say.... Already got great value out of this course! Amazingly presented and well put together! Very impressive.
Shalom, that's so energizing to hear, coming from you! My adventure with photogrammetry started exactly with Firefly/123D Catch, funny enough, some of the examples mentioned in the course (with the source files available) come from that time, 10-12 years ago at least I think.
@@GlebAlexandrov You, sir, are a true OG! Very stoked for the big release of your course tomorrow!
