I am most liking your Space VFX Tutorials I got the most value out of it and it was the most fun to me. The money is still worth it today. Now I have become quite an advanced user in blender, so that your modeling course was not so great for me and I know at least a good portion about Photogrammetry. Still pre ordered in the hope I will learn a really nice workflow and and get some issues rid off. Regardless of whether I learn a lot or just a little, I enjoy your tutorials a lot because of many reasons and it's always fun to follow. Can't wait to watch everything and try it out! I've already chosen a great industrial area to try everything out. Looking forward!

"I've already chosen a great industrial area to try everything out" - that is a good start definitely. So much in photoscanning depends, obviously, on the location/object and its unique character.

Уже многих нет зданий (и кварталов), только в виде 3д моделей и остались. Странное чувство, сохранять слепки городской реальности в таком виде, и не менее странно видеть другие миры, собранные из этих воспоминаний.

I KNOW this course is gonna make me do a jump in quality and efficiency in both blender and even photography. For me proof of this is that all the assets are low poly game ready, which is something that I always struggle with in my projects...

For the basic (and even higher) level, any camera is suitable. Any device that is capable of taking pictures. But as the level rises, there are new requirements for images and devices.
To begin with, it is important for us that the photo is clear and sharp. And already from this we can get a good result. want to move on?
then it is important for us that the device can take raw images.
Colorchecker is also useful for us.
As your own requirements increase, so do the specific requirements for your device. But yes, I think that with iphoneX it is possible to start photo scanning.

Илья, сейчас думаем над тем, как и когда можно сделать русские субтитры. Посмотрим.

What is the difference between agisoft metashape & Reality Capture ?

    • @GlebAlexandrov
      @GlebAlexandrov  3 роки тому +1

Great results can be achieved in both, basically. In our experience, RC seems to be a bit faster, but it also depends on many different factors - and I can totally imagine Metashape being more affordable and efficient under various conditions. A good starting point would be to try both - it's free for preview in both cases.

      @@scamberkk Definitely yes.
You will be able to master our course and get good models from the pictures taken on your device.
As far as I know the iphone 13pro can take raw photos, this is important for our course. Basic (basic) requirements for photographs: sharpness.
The device should shoot raw images.
If you want to further improve your results, then you can think about buying additional pieces. But for the basic (and above the basic) level, the device available to you is absolutely suitable.

    Hi!
Do you have any recommendations for any content related to real context for full panoramic view renders? The client wants to represent his real view on multiple panoramic cameras along his building (a huge building with a large green area and small buildings around), and I want to learn more about it to be able to explain to him all the details of the process that this kind of work requires.
    Thanks :)

It's a good question actually. It's something we're trying to understand ourselves, to be honest.
