*I would like to begin with the saying of Allah:*
وَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَ وَٱلْأَنصَارِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحْسَـٰنٍ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّـهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْه
*And the first to embrace Islâm of the Muhâjirûn (those who migrated from Makkah to* *Al-Madinah) and the Ansâr (the citizens of* *Al-Madinah who helped and gave aid to* *the Muhâjirûn) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allâh is* *well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him.*
*[Surah Tawbah 9:100]*
*The Ayah is a clear revelation from Allaah to this Ummah*
*that we Must Follow the Companions and Totally take from their* *Understanding of the Religion. They make this their way in their call and they hold on to their guidance. For that reason, Allah has ordered us to Follow the* *Companions of Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were the ones who took from the tongue of* *Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were the ones who accompanied him.* *They were the ones who took directly from him.* *They were the ones upon the huda (guidance) of Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم)* *and wudooh*
*(clarity).*
*Allah chose from the noble people to be the Companions of Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). And there's the statement of Al-Mustafa (صلى الله عليه وسلم):*
خير الناس قرني ثم الذين يلونهم ثم الذين يلونهم
*"The best of people are those of my generation, then those who come after them, and then those who come after them."*
*They were upon that which is Khair (good, correct) as attested in Allah’s saying:*
كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ
*You*
*[true believers in Islâmic*
*Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلمand his Sunnah*
*(legal ways, etc.)]* *are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind;[Surah *Aal-Imraan 3:110]*
*This clarification of* *what aqeedah (creed) you are upon and the Manhaj*
*Necessitates that a Sunni should follow it...*

*So what is the issue?*
I will add something here: I took my Shahada in 1985 and regularly attended the Masjid on Lincoln avenue in East Orange NJ in the 90s. At that time Dawud Adib was the Imam and Abu Usamah as well as Abu Muslimah had just graduated from the University of Madina. Although those 2 brothers did not say it as much, I quickly learned that everything black people did was "haram" (Much was of course), but the Arab was always given the benefit of the doubt by the black "students of knowledge" as they do the same thing now with the Saudi government being the most corrupt. I SAW how blacks were being used by the Arabs to maintain the myth of "the chosen people" by giving hour long Kutbahs on the excellence of the Arab while calling any self respect on the part of blacks, "Black Nationalism". It was sad to say and angers me to this day when I think of what Elijah Muhammad said (Yes, he was Kaifir, if he believed that Fard was Allah in person! I am not disputing that) when asked why he did not tell black people about the Arab influence in Islam. He said: "I DID NOT TELL THEM BECAUSE I FEARED THEY WOULD EXCHANGE ONE SLAVE MASTER FOR ANOTHER". End of quote.
Instead of confronting the issue you had with your Muslim brothers you stated mentioning a kaffir,twagut,Elijah Mohammed may the curse of Allah be upon him,anyway what’s this anti Arab sentiment,when the Mahdi عليه السلام appears he will be from the family of the messenger of Allah صل الله عليه السلام.The fact of the matter is that a lot of the help of Islam came from the Arab Muslims may Allah reward them it’s a bounty of Allah he gives to who ever he wishes,doesn’t mean non Arab Muslims didn’t do anything Bukhari,nisai,ibn marsh,abi Dawud we’re all non Arab.Issues need to be faced directly,you don’t hear a Muslim from the subcontinent constantly crying over this then start praising and sympathetic with Ghandi may Allah give him what he deserves.This is the same thing bani Israel said to Talut عليه سلام who Allah had made a king over them but they said they wasn’t going to do jihad with him because he wasn’t from their lineage and he didn’t have wealth.As for Saudi Arabia being the most corrupt they have mistakes no doubt but why is your tongue safe from Iran,who curse Abu baker,Umar and Uthman,worship Fatima and Ali رضي الله عنهم.Believe the Mahdi is in a tunnel and when he comes out he will be killed by a women who has a beard. All of the ten promised jannah رضي الله عنهم were Arab,we don’t love them because their Arab but they are companions we Allah loves and his messenger loves صل الله عليه وسلم And they identified and called themselves muslims
I was birthed into that community when I converted nearly 25 years ago; I even taught U.S History at the high school (madrassah Ahlus Sunnah in East Orange) but for only a year. I remember those khutbahs as you describe them. Alhamdulillah for saving me from that sect; I pray those stuck in it find a way out 🤲🏽

So true. I lived in Saudia in the 1970’s. My family was there for 35 years. Very hypocritical society with apartheid policies of different salaries based on nationalities. Very unjust laws enforcement against Pakistanis. Pornography and homosexuality were rampant. Child abuse and sexual harassment were extremely common

I don’t think it was to escape blackness but is a form of escapism. If anything they were looking for an identity. I grew up in a warithudeen community in Philadelphia but I have been in those salafi circles. There are many environmental factors and nuances to their behavior.

I remember the 90s in South London UK Salafis where indoctrinating brothers from the Carribean, and it was black brothers that they where using, not just for indoctrination but as physical enforcement, basically they'd beat you up in.or outside the masjid, some of these individuals where already known to the police as criminals and still sold drugs, robbed and done fraud, they where proud of not working for the state because they were funded by other sources, some drove BMWs and even had private number plates, moving through sisters like a train, they'd marry and divorce like a revolving door, they had nice accommodation and yet none of them.lifted a finger to work a regular job, they had links in Eygpt and Saudi so when things got hot they'd bail out of the UK and cool off over there.

Allah has clearly warned against those who hear rumours from others and repeat them like a parrot with no validation. One must either bring the proof or remain silent. Inshallah you look into such matters in the future before believing in it, otherwise the religion and ummah will deteriorate with each person claiming whatever they desire.

Over an hour in, no one has actually addressed the series of reference-based premises and conclusions recorded in books such as Kitab Al Kitaab. Instead, the comments are allegations about how people applied it in dealing with various matters historically and in contemporary times. It is possible to say something that is true but fail to act on it in a way pleasing to Allah.

Can you please name the scholars who came up with the term wahabia or wahabism? I want to look into it.
Historically, in the early stages, the Wahhabis initially called themselves Muslims. Therefore, you find in their first books, when they were describing their wars, they used to say (the Muslims came and the Muslims did), and when the Ulama of the Umah responded to them, they called them in their books (the response to Wahhabism). In the second stage, Al-Albani invented the name ( Salafiyah ) for them in the seventies, at the current stage they found it convenient for them to steal the name of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah, which is a name that the Ash’aris, Maturidis, and Hanbali Mufawada have carried for the past one thousand and two hundred years. Wahhabism, in short, is a sect that follows Ibn Taymiyah, and he is almost a prophet to them because they follow him in everything and believe he's the only and exclusive Sheikh of Islam, and at the same time They insult all the Umah’s other Ulamas

@@YasinAbdulAleem7 Yes, but currently they love to be called “Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah.” But don't underestimate Wahhabism, because this misguided group, because of Gulf oil money, and because they're building mosques and schools affiliated with them all over the world, control most Muslim countries. If you search the question on Google, the first answers that appear are Wahhabis, but their weakness is that they dot have Ulama in general, and it is their nature that they don't care about knowledge, every Wahhabi you see talking about religion has not studied religious sciences. Rather, many read a book or two. Even the most knowledgeable of them at all, and he is Al-Albani, didn't study under the sheikhs nor did he studied in any religious institute but he readed some hadith books himself

I lived in the 1970's in Saudia, and my family was there for more than 35 years. The deviance and social ills were evident, and the widespread hypocrisy was very disturbing. The racism against Pakistani's like me, was very ignorant, as the kids also used to stone us while singing a song that we are hindus: "Hindi baba, khurgin naga...". So this information from the imams here, and specially from Dr. Ware, make a lot of sense, that saudi royals and their wahabi ideology is deviant. The wahabi style is oppressive, not humanistic.
If I am not mistaken, isn't the Khalid Mansour that Dr. Walid quoted/spoke about the same person who initially shopped Obama around too black bourgeois for help with Obama's college tuition. Wasn't he also called out by Huey P. Newton (in his autobiography} for hyping people up in the Bay area to protest and disrupt but then he'd mysteriously disappear once the police showed up. Huey stated that after stoking the problem and running away he would not offer legal assistance to the people he provoked. Newton felt he should not be trusted.
As Salaam Alaikum this is an interesting and informative discussion. Do any of you think that if we erased the gender specific pronouns that we use to reference Allah rather than Allah’s attributes we might elevate the conscious awareness of Allah to a more lofty consciousness? They are really upset because the black Americans that follow the dawatus salafiyyah do not focus on being black rather the focus is on Quran & Sunnah. Ibn Taymiyyah isn’t a heretic. There’s nothing wrong with his teachings or those of Ibn Qayyim. Wahhabis deviate from their teachings. A good example is their beliefs about tasawwuf and Sufism. Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Qayyim weren’t anti-Sufi like Wahhabis think. They were both Sufis in the Qadiri order. When Ibn Taymiyyah made statements against Sufis, he was referring to those who had deviated. He wasn’t referring to Sufis who still remained firmly in the fold of Islam with their tasawwuf.
This belief never existed until the teachings of Greek philosphers infiltrated the minds of the Muslims. None of the first 3 generations ever uttered such beliefs.

This is from the strangest things. What is meant by Wahabi, a connection to Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab, Ibn Al Qayyim passed away in the year 751 (H) Imam Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab was born in the year 1115 (H) !
This is the affair of the ignorant person; the one that you will find viewing anyone who is on the correct minhaj and on the straight path to be a Wahabi; even if they lived a long period of time before (Imam Muhammad Abdul Wahab).
And Wahabiya is not a new course of action or new minhaj, or new creed or new sect.
Rather, Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahab, may ALLAH have mercy upon him, did not come with anything new, and he did not come with a new minhaj, and he came with what the Salafi of the nation were upon.
Reviving that which had been extinguished, and supporting the book and the Sunna and that which the Salaf of this nation were upon. Therefore the thing that he came with is following the Sunna and treading upon the path of the Salaf of this nation, not something new.
Unlike these new minhajs that have been invented; and they have particular minhajs and particular paths.
Rather it only revitalizing the Sunna, and manifesting the Sunna and holding firm to the book and the Sunna; therefore he did not come with anything new.
That which Shaykh Muhammad (Ibn Abdul Wahab) came with is that which Ibn Al Qayyim and Ibn Taimiya came with, that which the four Imams came with, which is what the Companions came with, like this.

Ibn Qayyim was his own man and wrote a very needed book on the good character of BLACK MUSLIMS. He did so after seeing a black Muslim that was depressed due to the racism of his community. The book is a large one and is almost never talked about although you can purchase it today. The same goes for Jalaudin As-Sayuti, another "Sunni" scholar.

The guy talking about "tawasul" is an ignorant and has lied about ibn abdul wahab. "Tawasul" is a major kufr in explicit quran and sunnah, even though we believe that not everyone doing it is a kaafir because of one has to establish evidence and make so that there is no preventing factor, that is the only time you can make takfir on people. Just like the early imams would say " who ever said the quran is a creation of God is a kafir" the statement in an of itself is a kufr statement but not who ever said it is a kaffri, because the making takfir of somebody requires these things mentioned above.
So i advice you people to go and ask sit under scholars and learn.
