I highly recommend getting confirmation in email or in writing even if you talk to them on the phone or in person. its proof in court if it gets that far and most of the time its proof enough to stop them trying to blame you or say you're lying.
Hey Kevin, just a thought!!! How about putting the rebar as far into the rock as you can with the jackhammer, then cutting off the excess about a 1/4 inch over the footing, then welding the rebar to the footing??? It will never move, unless you get an earthquake!!! Just an idea!!! Keep up the great vids!!!
Kevin leave Dexter's pink shirt alone. He really likes this pink shirt and there's nothing wrong with him liking pink. Besides he just looks adorable. ❤😊 he is so tiny and since he doesn't have fur, only hair, it could be helping him to keep warm in his chest area. ❤😊

Use the black hose trick. Put hose on roof to get water hot. My dad heated their huge above ground pool. It was lovely.
If the "princess" shirt bothers you...just turn it inside out. Still a warm shirt for him. They also sell little solar covers for pools. It looks like bubble wrap and the sun will warm the hot tub up right away.
Kevin, God bless you and Happy Birthday dear one! Hey, got a tip for you if Graceland doesn't come through on fixing the bottom of your building. I just did this easy fix to my ten year old barn bottom. I had a flower bed next to mine and in that time space of 10 years the bottom of my shed from all my watering of the flower bed made the bottom siding boards began to get water damage. That was easily repaired by purchasing pressure treated 8 inch wide board the entire length of the building and screwing it onto the outside bottom of the building, then on the top of the new pressure treated wood I had my handy man caulk the top of the new 8 inch wide pressure treated board to caulk the areabetween the building siding and board so no water gets in between the siding and new board. That was done last week all around the building. This coming week the building needs to be repainted so that will be my activity for next week two coats to do by yours truly. 😂 I hope this helps you. I started something here around my stomping grounds. Now everyone around me has seen how nice this looks and how it eliminated the siding bottom problem of time and water damage, they have copied my remedy and doing the same quick but permanent fix. It actually looks much better and finished like it should have originally should have been built that way from the factory. In time, to eliminate any more repairs to the barn I think I will just have the entire barn vinyl sided, so I never have to repaint it or worry about water damage or wear on the barn.

Shame on Graceland for wanting to blame a customer, too bad for them that this customer has so many viewers 🤣🤣. Perhaps you could consider a submersible heater to go in the spa. Maybe it would take care of taking it from 70 on up to where you need it. I do prefer this layout of your buildings. And it is making the garage more user friendly. I hope Caroline gets first choice of the parking spots. And, perhaps a sealed trim board around the bottom of the building if all else fails. 🤷♀️. I love how you love your furbabies.

Moving things …. I feel like as you live in a home or property that things will change. Home - moving around furniture. Land - getting things in better place as you have used the area.

Throw a piece of black plastic over the tub. The sun shinning on the black will heat the tub. Dad heated our big above ground pool that was in the 60s. Worked great.

Kevin if they don't address the issues you could do what I've done before. I've cut off the bottom 2 feet and put in Z metal and put a new matching 2 foot section. Quite a bit of work, but the results were good.

Long story short, after shoddy repairs and lots of red tape, Jared got a refund, and the shed towed away. You might want to contact him to see how he got his situation settled.

With your idea of putting heavy stones on the corners of your carport, once you have the stones on, maybe you can build a wire cage around it and fill the cage with smaller stones, gabion fence style.

My hubby (RIP) and I had a 2-4 person hard side roll around portable hot tub that was great until we got tired of it. We have so little winter here that we just let it go and gave it away. It was a lot of fun and easy schmizy to move. Those jets in it were wonderful! 😊

Dear Kevin: I like the house and garage side by side. Looks like they belong together; I thought about that garage's bottom nailing problem and I think would put a nice 2x4 trim lumber all around it and paint same color or a nice dark brown. Maybe paint some of the other trim on house and garage just to jazz it up a little. Your property is amazing. I like it all. Give the sweet doggies a hug from me. OH,,,, Yeah Happy Birthday to YOU! That protruding rebar, just build a frame around it and pour a concrete block on that corner. It'll lock in on that rebar and help hold things down.
Once you get Vagabond Base Camp big enough, you can start a campground for dry camping

Maybe get a solar heating blanket cover from the spa. Our pool in Vegas would get up over 100 and it was 10’ deep.
You could make a solar water heater and use a small pump to bring the hot water to the spa. Bad thing is you would have to drain it in freezing weather.

I needed a ramp at my back door so I could get my mobility scooter in and out of the house easily. I’m not able to do anything but I got my handyman to take a look at building a ramp and instead what he did was he used cement blocks to create a stairway about six inches high, using 4 inch thick blocks, and 2 inch thick blocks, and it worked beautifully. I hired another handyman to install a handicap toilet for me. He would not give me a price without coming out and looking at it, which he did. I told him I would go to Home Depot and pick up the toilet and let him know when I had it. He said he would pick it up because he’s at Home Depot every single day. I said OK. He showed up with the toilet and went to put it in and it wouldn’t fit. The whole time he was here he talked about his church. I felt really good about him. Then when the toilet wouldn’t fit, he said well now I have to put your old toilet back on, take the new one back to Home Depot and get a replacement and then come back and install it so I’m going to charge you more money. I explained since he didn’t measure the rough-in correctly when he was here to give me a price I shouldn’t have to pay extra for his mistake. He said if I didn’t pay more he wouldn’t do it. I said OK just put the old toilet back on. When he left, his parting words were, “you have a blessed day.” Christian? What do you think?

That handyman did not do his job when he gave you an estimate. He has probably done this b4 and got away with it, who knows how many times.
Do what I did, get a riser toilet seat. Can use the old toilet and it works fine.

Looks like Graceland owes you a new building.
Maybe can dig around the long bolt thing and dump some oil in. Maybe it'll soak in so can twist and pull the thing out? Otherwise have to yank the thing out of the ground but might crack the rock and when put the deep stake in might be too large an opening to stay in tight.
