Easy to use. This version does not have a digital timer ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxRDB_bcaZEIluKD5LMPVlvPAA2E1HbFNo but to be honest the analog timer works well --- plus when cooking you often check things and there is probably a clock on your stove, one on your phone, on your wall, etc ...We have cooked a few things using the air fryer, some with the bake/air fryer combo. Also, it toasts bagels perfectly ... or as perfect as you can heat up bread. The air fryer basket takes some scrubbing, sometimes, to get it clean --- but that is the same with any wire basket. Maybe one minute if cheese or something gets on it.
Great video Melissa! My fiancé is going to be so happy now that I know how to get that plastic mark off the toaster oven! We left our pita wraps in the plastic bag on top of the brand new toaster oven and I thought I ruined it! Now it will look brand new!! Keep the videos coming!
(Part2)I get so caught up in the daily cleaning and picking up I didn't even think about things like"toasters".I didn't even know there was a bottom part that came off.Lame huh? One of the reasons I love your videos is because now I carve out time from the everyday cleaning and do some not so obvious cleaning.I don't even care if anyone notices it! I know and it's a GREAT feeling! I'm learning lots(yes,I should be passing it down to the kids.Maybe tomorrow?)Anyway,Thanks for the "mindset"!
I'm curious if you did anything special to clean out the bottom/inside of the toaster. Always scraps getting stuck there. I'm talking about on each side of the crumb tray.
You make great videos that are clear, and the sound level is also clear and steady. What camera do you use and recording system? You're an awfully smart cookie for being so young. Wish you great success on all your endeavors. I hope you answer this, because I don't see any replays to the other ones on this page.
I just found your channel & I've watched about 6 cleaning tips in a row. I keep promising myself I'll get cleaning after the next video. Lucky you've got lots of videos ;)
I wouldn't say to take everything apart, but you can spray and soak these gunky areas for say 20 minutes and then scrub with a cleaning toothbrush. If you can find an enzyme cleaner, you are in even better shape!
My toaster oven inside "roof" area has baked on grease and I find it impossible to get rid of it. It even causes smoke to form at times. I like your videos. You have a vibrant personality.
Hey Melissa, i got a weird cleaning question. Can u please do a video on how to clean ur pepper mill. I mean, seriously, how do i clean it? Thank u...XOXOXO
I was wondering if you could please help me out with my toaster oven! I did exactly what you have said and the inside and racks look great. However, my toaster oven is really burnt from the top. I cant even remember how that happend. How can I get rid of these dark burnt stains? Thank you so much for all your videos!!
i'm a little confused! you didn't mention adding the dish soap into anywhere for the toaster oven, so i'm wondering if your only concoction is creme of tartar and water?
Most people say to use Baking Soda, not Cream of Tartar. She seems to be a yuppie kid who doesn't realize that tiny jars of Cream of Tartar would cost a lot more than Baking Soda.
Heck ... you did such a good job in under 7 min ... I think I can afford to hire you to clean mine. You get a like from me. Every time I start to clean something I hurt my back. Apparently my lumbar and tail bone are out of place.
This toaster you are cleaning is like mine on the inside - mine is a retro version of the old Sunbeam. What makes it hard to clean is the flat metal that holds the toast and the "guides" which are supposed to help the crumbs fall to the bottom. The don't; instead everything sticks to them which are hard to reach - let alone clean. So here is what I used along with your tools: Rubbing Alcohol Artist paint brush & small Foam paint brush 10" Bamboo chop stick: one end is pointed, the other is square & flat Bamboo Kabob stick about as long Green scouring pad that you split in half so its thickness is thin - works like velcro I dipped the artist brush in the alcohol to dampen all the areas where the crumbs were stuck then used the chop stick to scrape them down. Some areas needed to be repeated to get them off. The Kabob stick got in the tighter areas like corners. The alcohol helped to loosen the grease & burnt stuff from the metal. I probably should have left the tray in place until the end, but that is where thinning the scouring pad helped. If you wrap it around the chop stick it can be used where the tray goes to reach the fallen crumbs that won't shake out. I used the foam brush to paint the entire outside with the cream of tartar mix which worked like a polish on both the stainless steel and plastic if you let it sit a few minutes. Gets all the splashed little dots of grease that are so hard to get off without using anything abrasive. The I finished up with a stainless polish that should help keep the outside easier to clean next time. Also the alcohol dries pretty quick...so no dampness issues there.
Hi, Melissa! Your video was super helpful. I didn't know you could clean the inside of the toaster! Why do you use cream of tartar instead of something less expensive like baking soda?
Try this mixture....in a spray bottle mix 12oz of white vinegar, 12 oz of Dawn Dishwashing Liquid (so 1:1) and 1 Tbsp liquid laundry soap (I use Purex). Give a little shake to mix. Spray on your glass shower door (I even spray the tile), let sit for about 5-10 minutes, rub the area with a dampened microfibre cloth & then rinse well with your shower head. Easy peasy lemon squeasy...with no scrubbing. Hope this helps
I don’t have a toaster oven. I have the pop up type. But I want to watch the entire video because I have family members that have the over type. Education is education regardless of the subject. Thanks!
I have a countertop toaster oven&the drop down door isnt easily removable&its always full of crumbs&gunk.Any suggestions on how to clean the crack&around the hinges?Other than submersing it in water, cant do that,I cant figure out how to remove the gunk.Ive used a brush to scrub it but the goo left behind wont come out&since rinsing it out isnt an option do you have any tips. There might be a way to remove the door to clean the hinges&I havent figured that out either.HELP!
i had goo stuck in the hinge space of the glass door of the toaster oven [the bottom edge]. i sprayed it with 409 and then let it soak, then i crammed paper towel [a small bunched up piece] in it and working front then back over and over finally got that gunk out. [i slid the paper towel side to side in the crack and pushed to the opposite side at the same time] good luck!
Thx very much for that demonstration. I am wondering if you can clean the heating rungs the way you cleaned the rest of the interior - is it alright to get them wet with the soap and vinegar?
Can you and chad do another q&a video. And I also have a question for it so here it is if you have something sticky on hardwood floors how can I get it off without discolouring or scrapping it. And my suggestion from the old q&a video is wayq.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has burned some food in my toaster oven and now that the oven is stained any food I put in oven gets burned under that stain. Any suggestions on how to remove stain? Are cleaners like spicy n span ok or do I need to get a new one?
Can you help me out answering my question? I cleaned my Hamilton Beach toaster oven with Easy Off and some other harsh chemical and I also cleaned the actual heating rods in the process. What ended up happening was I scraped off some of the protective black layer and now my toaster oven has chemicals inside of it which I cannot remove. Can I slide in a tray with water and let it evaporate on high heat for an hour or is that dangerous? Am I going to poison myself heating food in this toaster oven now?
the one thing I wanted to know and you did not cover it.. can you help me out ? The metal covers over the heating elements.. how do you clean those.. will water or anything burn out the heaters if it gets on it ? Thanks
I keep my pop up toaster in a cabinet under the counter top, it is on a shallow sided cookie sheet that stays under the toaster where ever it goes thus crumbs are always corralled. When I dust out the toaster I do it in a clean and empty kitchen sink and rinse everything down the garbage disposal.
What if my son tried another method to clean; and messed up my stainless finish? If I go over with your method will it correct it? It look 👀 Great but took away the shine.
My fiancé likes cheesy toast and bread like Chad! Some has spilled onto the heating elements that look like yours. Any suggestions on cleaning that part? Thanks!! Love you and Chad!
mine crumb tray was hideous..after 8 years of usage all the gunk..i was so naive i didn't know that there was no barrier between the oven racks and the tray! for many yeas i didn't even know about the tray....i tried to clean a few months ago but the gunk wouldn't come off....so today i tried again, this time i used a razor to remove the gunk, which worked...then i lined it with the foil. lol mortified!!
Uh, don't look now but...oh, that's a fun, superimposed fire trick of yours. hee THANKS for the nail polish remover tip. My toaster has been plastic bag "tattooed" for decades. Where've you been all my scarred toaster's life?!
TRUELY A GREAT VIDEO and on a topic I have thought about a lot, so thank you Kyle;-). but personally I would much prefer it without the background music. Perhaps because I watch the video while the rest of the gang are watching tv. Plus it makes for cleaner information:-)
Hey there, thanks for the information, but what about the glass door? I use my oven for baking and toasting and there are baked on brown lines like stuff I can't get off with my scrubber. Thanks.
+Susan Alexander I just used some stuff called "bar keepers friend" on my window/door and it went from not being able to see through it to brand new looking. You can get it for a couple bucks at walmart/home depot.

my Diet & nutrition tutor says that aluminum foil promotes Alzheimers. Can you look into it please as so many of us use foil when baking or roasting. I haven't used foil on food for several months now.
Thank you so much for this video! I had been toasting cinamon crunch bagels and a piece of cinamon had gotten inside of the toaster causing it to start smoking which could start a fire. this is a lot of help :)
My toaster oven has a non-stick tray. It is sticky from my non-stick sprays. I have tried soap and water...but it is not coming out. Please help...how can I get this tray clean?
Do you know how to deodorize the pantry and keep it smells good? I bought a house a year ago, and the pantry is a disaster of the house, it's got very tough smell from the preowners!! I bleached it, re-painted it, cleaned it and used vinegar !!! But it still smells!! Believe or not, we leave the pantry door open for a whole year!! Save me!

Wanda McGroarty You won't have grease built up if you deep clean it once every other week and a quick clean after every use.
Michael Hinchey Yeah but how do you clean it once its there?
how did grease get in your toaster?
Wanda McGroarty I’ve realized a scrub sponge and soap and water works as good as anything. If it’s really bad I’ll scratch it off with a butter knife.
