    Easy to use. This version does not have a digital timer ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxRDB_bcaZEIluKD5LMPVlvPAA2E1HbFNo but to be honest the analog timer works well --- plus when cooking you often check things and there is probably a clock on your stove, one on your phone, on your wall, etc ...We have cooked a few things using the air fryer, some with the bake/air fryer combo. Also, it toasts bagels perfectly ... or as perfect as you can heat up bread.The air fryer basket takes some scrubbing, sometimes, to get it clean --- but that is the same with any wire basket. Maybe one minute if cheese or something gets on it.

    Thanks for the cleaning tutorial! How much lemon juice, baking soda, and water did you use to make the paste?

    • @krisnsons5967
      @krisnsons5967  2 роки тому +3

      I didn’t use any exact measurements. Id say in this video used about a half a cup of baking soda, added water slowly until I got the consistency in the video, and then a small packet of lemon juice.

    My toaster oven has grime trapped between glass and frame that holds glass. This grime is visible on inside of glass when door is opened. Removing the entire door has proved problematic and tech manual does not address this issue.

    • @plaguex1
      @plaguex1 3 роки тому

      Theres not really any method to clean unless you jimmy rig the door back on (which shouldn't be hard). You can use rivet removers to remove..out toaster oven doors like the one in the video.

    Wow! Great video! Thank you for actually cleaning a dirty toaster so we can see real results! Im definitely going to try this method. Quick question did you find the Brilo pads scratched the tray at all? Either way this is awesome thank you!!

    • @krisnsons5967
      @krisnsons5967  4 роки тому +8

      Jo Lowe I’m glad you enjoyed the video! The pan does have a few scratches from the Brillo pad.. I was hesitant to use it at first- but nothing else really cleaned the stubborn parts off like the Brillo pads..the toaster oven has no scratches though👍🏻 the toothbrush was hard enough to clean it but soft enough not to scratch it🙂.
      (I ended up putting foil on the inside tray so it’s much easier to clean)

    Trays are always easy. The issue is the inside of the oven.

    I live in a camper. I always use aluminum foil on my trays to cook a lot of protein, casseroles, cakes, and even fried eggs and bacon, etc. I’ve heard some people say it starts a fire but I’ve never had one. I keep the aluminum foil tightly wrapped around my pan away from heating elements. My problem is the back of my toaster oven. It’s really thick with food buildup. Staying away from my heating elements is going to be the problem. I have a toaster oven just like yours. I got a Wolfgang toaster oven for Christmas year before last that only lasted around six months. The Hamilton Beach one has worked longer than the Wolfgang. But I sure do miss my inside light on the Wolfgang oven that’s sitting in my shed.

    Ketchup is a great way to clean to racks and tray along with SOS or Brillo. Smear on the ketchup, let sit for a while and then start cleaning with scouring pad. The key really is to not let anything bake on. Toaster ovens usually have a removable crumb tray.

    I'm lost on this. I watched until the end. You can't see a closeup of the final result of the pans? The oven looks nice but the pans are always the hardest. You ended up only soaking them overnight in Dawn dishsoap and barely using the brillo pad and that worked???
