When I was figuring out which events to cover for this Volume, it was such a funny moment to realize how important the Masked Mizugi Gang would be for the Eden Treaty! 🤣 I absolutely love that part of the Abydos story, so I was pleasantly surprised when it had real consequences for Hifumi at Trinity!
Her being a criminal and sent to that club was how she was able to befriend Azusa and prevented her from killing Arius members and ultimately causing a bad end as well. Her existence prevented that club from dissolving and losing an important member to Trinity such as Hanako.
@@cunnyman don't forget part when someone bring topic of hifumi how she ended up in that situation in make up work club and look on Sensei face after hearing that info was hilarious I couldn't stop my self from laughing when that topic start 😂
I hadn't even seen the final time stamp on the video when I wrote that line, but I already knew deep in my bones that I would easily spend several hours talking about this game.... 🤭
If the Foreclosure Task Force, 20 stages long, was a 2 hour video, I fear what the 40 chapters of Clockwork Flower Pavane, never-damn-mind the 70+ chapter long Eden Treaty will look like... I'll sit and watch them anyway!
For real though, I am going to have to seriously think about how to structure the Eden Treaty section because WOW there is a lot to cover there; that being said, I did dip into some of the Gematria content I planned on covering a bit later so I've laid some groundwork to make that explanation easier, if nothing else! I'm so glad that you enjoyed this so much, I can talk about Blue Archive for many hours so knowing that it's fun to listen to is so awesome to hear!
Same!! It was such an emotional moment to see Problem Solver show up after all that had happened and they still had the Task Force’s back; I absolutely love the ensemble of characters in this game, it's such a joy to go through the entire story with such a great cast!
I am SO happy to hear that, thank you for your kind words! It was such a delight finally putting a video like this together; I feel like the lore of the game has so much nuance and delving into that is something I'd love to keep doing! 🙏
As someone who just started playing, and has only just beat chapter 1 of volume 1, I'm extremely surprised at how detailed the world of BA is. I thought of it as happy fun times, then Black Suit appeared and told me to fight an emissary of God in the form of a YuGiOh Cyber Dragon with a halo in the desert, while a banger track plays. Needless to say, I'm invested, and while I can't really watch most of the video as I don't wanna get spoiled, you'll be damn sure I'll come back to this. Thank you for dedicating so much time to an aspect of gacha games that often gets overlooked.
Definitely take whatever time you need to complete the story, this video will always be waiting whenever you're caught up! :) I laughed so hard when I read your description of Black Suit and Binah, they really are some Yu Gi Oh level character designs (which is a good thing, at least for me!) I hope you keep enjoying the game as it progresses, there are a ton of fantastic stories throughout it and the soundtrack is unbelievably good!
I don't even play Blue Archive, this shit is just fun to listen to. You presented everything really nice and everything flowed really well, will definitely be waiting for the next volume!
That honestly makes me so glad to hear, I'm so happy that this was enjoyable to hear even without knowledge of the game! The next Volume I'll be covering is a fan favorite and an absolute rollercoaster of emotions, so I am delighted for when I'll have that ready to share with you all!
That is so incredibly kind of you, I cannot thank you enough!! It is such a delight to make these videos and knowing that all the effort I put in was worthwhile is unbelievably gratifying 🙏😖🙏
I'm the only person in my circle that plays BA, finding a community like this warms my heart. I'm so excited for your Eden Treaty video! Also, I love your voice >////
That is so kind of you, thank you!! I'm so glad you found the video and this community, it's been a joy to see everyone coming together to share their love of this game! 🙏😖
I recently found Blue Archive, fell in love with the world and characters, and binged the story up to the boss in the Our Stories chapter that you can use your own squad in. Now I'm grinding out levels but really interested in the world. So here I am, ready to learn.
You can definitely feel Yumie's love and passion for the game just by simply writing this narrative of volume 1. Her narration itself is another thing too. Love hearing your voice!
That is extremely kind of you to say, thank you!!! I absolutely adore this game and getting to share it with you all is such a treat. I look forward to sharing more with you all with future Lore Archive volumes!
I am so glad to hear that!! That was a huge reason why I wanted to start Lore Archive with Abydos; it's a huge introduction to the world of Kivotos, but since it happened right at the beginning of the game, it's been a long time since most people have played it, so I thought it was a perfect opportunity to delve back into the Abydos story. Plus, this ended up being great timing, since the current Summer event directly follows the events of the Foreclosure Task Force story!
After watching the JP 2nd Anni Stream and that spine shivering 4th PV I went onto YT find a lore video for BA and you were the first result and I gotta say I'm impressed. While this video is mostly about the Foreclosure Task Force the bit at the start with the Prologue to the History of Abydos is exactly the info I'm looking for and even then I watched the entire video still. You make things very easy to understand and digest. I can't wait till you get to more the heavy stuff like the Eden Treaty and Rabbit Squad and eventually "The End of the World". But for now just take my sub, you earned it!
That is so incredibly kind of you, thank you so much!! (Also im sorry for this late reply, I had such an onslaught of comments that I stopped getting notifications for some of them!) I debated about whether or not I should just do one gigantic lore review or do chapter by chapter, but I'm so glad I decided to do a deep dive for each part because there really is so much to talk about! I'm so excited for when I'm finished with the next video and can share more Lore Archive with you all, so I appreciate your support and patience while I'm working on that! 🙏
Just found out about your channel. It's rare to find someone who explains the lore of blue archive for my pea-sized brain. Thank you for your hardwork 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for this video, I LOVE Blue Archive, the world, it's inhabitants, the stories, the twisted "common sense" everyone has there even. This video filled lots of holes I had on the lore, looking forward to the next one!
I just finished watching the entire thing and I wanted to say thank you for making this. I have been looking for something like a narrated lore for Blue Archive and this is exactly what I wanted. It is very well made.
Your way of telling the Abydos story and lore is quite captivating. I ended up watching the whole thing in one go despite only intending to watch in parts.
That is so tremendously kind of you to say, I'm so glad it was such an enjoyable video to watch! I'm sure the Eden Treaty will be quite an endeavor once it's complete... but I'm working hard on putting it all together, so I'm hoping I'll have the next Volume of Lore Archive for you all before too long :)
I'm glad this video exists because I tried watching the anime and was way to confused to understand what was going on so thank you for explaining everything.
You are so very welcome!! Honestly, I was surprised they started the anime the way they did, since it really helps to know some of the background for a) what Kivotos and the schools are, and b) why Sensei is trying to help out Abydos. Now that you've got the background, I hope this will make the anime even more fun as they dive into this section of the story!!
Alright, I literally just beat all of Foreclosure Task Force, yes it took 3 months because I wanted to grind events and have my progression be a bit smoother, since I didn't want to get level gated by the missions. I also find it funny that you're allowed to complete all of Clockwork Flower Pavane chapter 1 before you're allowed to finish Foreclosure Task Force chapter 2. But now, with a bunch of events and SLIGHTLY more context on the world (but really not by much) I'm back here to get caught up. Alright, done watching, and goddamn your narration is good. I also appreciate the thematic music added in the background. I am so freaking interested in what Gematria is cooking, they're so damn sinister, I love it! I was also wowed by the extra context on the godly students, it's such a cool lore element. Can't wait to delve into Eden Treaty.
I'm so glad you were able to get all caught up with the Foreclosure Task Force!! I am beyond flattered that you enjoyed the narration and the background music, I worked really hard to try and pair up different soundtracks to fit with different parts of the story, and I'm so happy with how it all turned out. My apologies for the goliath that is the Eden Treaty still awaiting you... it is a HUGE in game story that sprawls across four different chapters, but take all the time you need, these videos will be waiting for you regardless!!
That is so kind of you to say, thank you so much!! I am so excited to keep making these videos, it was a ton of fun to put the Abydos volume together and I can't wait to share the Eden Treaty story with you all in the future!
I'm all in for this, a refresher for that crazy PV of the new main story, and a Vtuber digging into my favorite gachas lore, you are a blessing, thank you for the hard work, I look forward to the next video
That is so kind of you, thank you!! That PV was absolutely NUTS, I am so hyped for that hitting the Global server and finally getting to see what is in store for the many academies and devious players within Kivotos!
Thank you for doing these videos. I started a few days ago in the JP server and your retelling and all of your BA content have been so helpful for me! You gained a new subscriber. Thank you so much for your hard work.
Thank you SOOO much for this, as a parent who doesn't always have time to read the story, but always have a bit of time to play BA. This finally got me to understand the story and lore for the game. Big thanks 🙏
That is absolutely amazing to hear, I'm so glad that this helped!! I always put on podcasts and streams at work because I can at least listen to what's happening even if I can't watch, so I wanted to make something like that for anyone who wanted to know more about the game! 🙏
Yooooo automatic subscription! I needed this so much! This video immensely helps with my D&D Campaign that involves Blue Archive! Particularly THIS WHOLE THING as the basis!
WHOA that is wild!!! I am immensely flattered, I hope that your campaign goes well, that is so awesome that you're running a setting that incorporates Blue Archive! 😳🙏
@@yumietsuchinoko Well, it isn't just Blue Archive in this realm. It also incorporates the upcoming game Lies of P and Steel Rising as well, Would you like to know more?
@@yumietsuchinoko Sorry for the wait, it's been a busy af weekend. So, the campaign starts in Genshin Impact, with a rip in space/time causing Liyue Harbor to combine with Baldur's Gate, causing Zhongli to form a team of conscripted heroes to send them into the sewers of Liyue and rescue Keqing, who disappeared some days ago. The team discovers an ancient temple instead of sewers thanks to the space/time screwup and find out someone came through and was conducting experiments on kidnapped cityfolk and guardsmen and trying to make her own undead army. They swiftly put a stop to it, and sealing the rift, but getting transported to Chaldea from Fate Grand Order, which has become a Security Agency dedicated to protecting the multiverse. In the second world they are sent to, Resident Evil, they are tasked with finding out what happened to the residents of island port city and find a mysterious gem that is tied to what is happening to everyone. There they will face a newly revived Heisenburg, with his homunculus and cyborg companions, all the while dealing with creatures ripped out of Elden Ring and dealing with threats from realms beyond who are also using this predicament to push their influence into the world. In the third world, Arknights, they're sent to the town of Gran Faro to ascertain why people have been flocking to a reactivated lighthouse, only to find out that the populace are being used for conversion into eldritch sea creatures to infest and overrun the world. They descend into this lighthouse, each floor it's own demiplane that has it's own guardian, taking inspiration from the game Sifu, the group fights their way down to the depths of the sea, finding the lighthouse was built upon a crashed spaceship called Aniara, which they find to be haunted and using the power of a gem to power the tanks of evolved contaminated algae to create more adaptable eldritch sea monsters. They find an undersea cathedral where a chapter of the Church of the Deep is holed up, along with one of the leaders, Ishar-Miia. Defeating her and destroying the machinery, collapsing the lighthouse in on itself, stopping the growing threat in this world. In the 4th world, Blue Archive, the group meets up with Sensei, Hoshino, and Rabbit Squad and are airlifted to help the rest of the Foreclosure Task Force defend the school from the Kaiser PMC, who have been digging and unearthing ancient machines (The Murderous Puppets from Lies of P, the Soul Stealing Alchemical Automotons from Steel Rising, and Raptures from Nikke: Goddess of Victory) from wars long past, when Gods fought with each other for control of a legendary artifact said to be able to rewrite history and shape reality to the wearer's whims, wishes, and wills. They were the cause of the massive sandstorms that buried most of Abydos under, while they sent their new machine soldiers to assassinate the city folk for soul power to keep them running for years. After defending the school and beating The Centaur, they venture into the desert, fighting Eremite vanguards and finding out the Kaiser PMC has several outposts fitted with Anti-Air Cannons and upgraded Robots they have recovered. They venture deeper into the desert and discover they unearthed a Pyramid that houses the bulk of the mechanical army, with a device at the top that disperses the sand in the direction of Abydos. Descending into the pyramid, they fight Cyber Mummies, Ancient Luchador Pharaohs, and the one overseeing the operation, a one General Geddes, a cyborg who gained great power to defeat his foe as promised by his own employer. After defeating him, they find out the Pyramid houses an Ancient Superweapon, and they must take out it's power source, which turns out to be another gem. Kaiser was going to use said superweapon to decimate the city and take control of it, turning the academies into factories and enslaving the students to become a workforce, experiments, and possibly worse. In the 5th world, Spec Ops: The Line, after an assault on Chaldea, the group is hurled into a derelict realm, besieged by cataclysmic sandstorms and attacked by the ghoulish remnants of the population of Dubai and the Damned 33rd, who have become a cult who worships It-Who-Slumbers-Beneath-The-Sands, also known as Kaan'raad, an entity that was sealed by Templars back during the Crusades, but was unsealed due to the city of Dubai expanding underground, awakening it and causing the cataclysm to occur, driving people insane. The group fight through the cult and find out there is one lone Templar who lives, sealed in stone. They must pass three trials in order to break the stone. When they do, he helps them by turning into a Paladin class Tank (As in an actual military Tank, a nod to Sabaton), but they need find a way to call reinforcements first, with the help of a rebuilt radio tower and spells, they contact Kivotos and request aid, which they end up sending several tanks with some of the girls. They managed to fight Kaan'raad and his Avatar, Capt. Walker, defeat them, and find the final gem in the area it was sealed in. I can't spoil the final boss and the final world, but it's one heck of a twist.
@@doktahv8837 Don't apologize whatsoever, life keeps us all busy! It was good timing because I was slammed this weekend as well and only just now was able to check this out, so that was good timing! And speaking of, WOWWWWWWW I am UTTERLY stunned at the time and thought you've put into weaving all these stories together!! Your campaign takes the most tense and interesting characters from so many worlds and builds upon them, while making the story completely your own. How long have you been planning all this out?! I hope your players enjoy having a DM so into this level of world building, I am beyond impressed with how you're using world hopping to tie in Arknights, Resident Evil, and so many other genres into the campaign!!
played BA at launch but unfortunately fell off from it about a year in because the gameplay just wasnt doing it for me. I really wanted to know more about the story though and stumbled upon this video. Let me tell you this narration and retelling is absolutely incredible. You capture all the important story beats, dialouge timings and humor inserts. I even got goosebumps when Aru was reciting the Masked Mizugi Gang's motto. Excellent stuff! I really might just jump back into the game because of this video.
That is SO kind of you to say, I am so delighted that you enjoyed listening through this video!! I absolutely adore this game and wanted to highlight the great story as much as possible, so whether you hop back into it or not, I hope that these videos are a great way to see the incredible story and characters within Kivotos!!
You did an amazing job of retelling the story. The prologue is also one of the best introduction to Kivotos I have encountered. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next lore video. I really like your voice too.
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad that it was so pleasant to listen to, I had a lot of fun filming this and wanted to make it as approachable as possible for people interested in the story!
I just picked blue archive back up after well over a year, and this was an excellent refresher. It was very well preformed and spoken. I will definitely be watching more. Thanks for the great video.
You got my sub just with the preamble. This is an absolute labor of love and 12 minutes in, I love how much it's recontextualized my knowledge of the setting beyond the general theming of each academy and the threats to this bizarro quasi-Lord of the Flies megalopolis. Just this one episode makes me very happy. I'd be over the moon to see the Eden Treaty one. And I bet the sudden appearance of PV4 threw some wrenches into the works, eh?
That is so kind of you to say, thank you!! It definitely was a tremendous amount of work to put this together, but I've been wanting to make content like this for so long that I think it was well worth all the effort I put in. I'm actually planning on covering the Eden Treaty next, so once I've got all my research notes together I'll be writing my script and filming that! The 4th PV was absolutely WILD, it confirmed a lot of suspicions I was going to get into during the SRT chapter, so I'm beyond excited to get into that later on!
I started Blue Archive on a whim just because it seemed like a fun Gatcha Game to try.😅 But the game since had surpassed my expectations and Became one of my ask time Fevourite because of How GRAND and EPIC yet inspirational and grounded the story is.❤❤❤ . I've cried, laughed, felt heated up,slammed my hand in frustrations, raised my fists in the air and I'm glad to feel all these amazing emotions.😊😊😊
This video made me so happy. I wasn't paying much attention until chapter 3 of foreclosure task force and had been wanting to get a refresher on what I skimmed. This was so well done and can't wait for your videos on the other stories!
i cant believe i sat over 2hrs listening to the lore of blue archive and i have 0 regret. absolutely love the story and the narrator reading it with emotion and other background story/information. Awesome job and cant wait for more lore
So, the reason i've seen this channel is just because i was at work at the hospital and was a bit bored, was watching reddit stories on youtube and then i saw this as the next video, i watched it and...there you go, i click subscribed! Hoping a continuation about the lore of blue archive to continue. Its really great and not to mention its really helpful for us who dont have much time to read through most of the dialogues in blue archive but are still interested in the story. Wishing this gem of a channel to flourish
That is so kind of you to say, I'm so glad it was a good listen while you were working! I absolutely will continue this series and am currently working on the next entry, which will feature the glorious saga that is the Eden Treaty; I know how crazy life can get and not everyone can reasonably play through the story, so I'm grateful I can share whatever knowledge I have while sharing the story of Blue Archive!
It’s so great to see someone covering the lore of Blue Archive! I was tempted at times to try my hand at it but you seriously have done such an amazing job discovering so many plot points I had completely missed! I’ll be rooting for your success if you decide to make more of these!
That is so sweet of you to say, thank you!! 🙏😖🙏 honestly going back through the story to put all my research notes together was really enlightening, I had missed that Black Suit directly calls out Hoshino as Horus early on, and there were so many other small details that the authors tucked away there! I'm 100% planning on completing the main story through these videos, so the next one I'll be working on will be the Eden Treaty, since it ties so nicely to the Abydos story! 💪
That absolutely made my day, I try really hard to pronounce names correctly and although I don't always nail it, I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed listening to it! 🙏😖🙏
FOR REAL!! I'm holding off on discussing any spoilers from it, since it won't hit the Global server for a little bit longer, but MAN am I hyped for when that drops!!
This is so comprehensive and clear explaination of the lore. Im so honored and moved by the depth of the simple story of a gacha game. Ure more impressive to be able to gather all the lores and theories about the lore. Mad Respect
Oh my word, this is such a kind comment!!! I am so grateful that I've been able to share all this lore with you folks, since I adore it so much and want as many people to learn about these wonderful characters!!
Thank you for doing this video, Im looking forward to volume 2 lore video! i dont have time to keep up with the game so ive been looking for a condensed video of the lore and now im hooked by the story! Please keep it up. i cant wait to see more content!
I love this walkthrough of the Blue Archive lore. I personally like separating my gameplay and story and as such I never get around to reading the story whenever I unlock a new chapter. This really helps understand the story and makes me care so much more about the characters! I'm excited for many more entries to this video series❤
Hi Yumie, wanted to say I really enjoyed watching this. As a returning player who skipped the story first time, this helped me to learn about the story. 🙏
Great model, fantastic voice and good storry summary. Realy looking forward for for the summary of volume 2!! Also, dont worry about getting sponsored, everyone needs to get food on the table!!!
That is extremely kind of you, thank you!! 🙏 that would be wild if I ever did get sponsored, but regardless, I'll keep doing my best with these videos and sharing more fun content on the channel!
Finally got through the entirety of this video and omg the feels. So much feels god damn it. Is it raining in my room? xD What a jolly bunch, especially Aru and company! Was not expecting the massive lore bombs either! holy crap D: The way you deliver your lines and tell these stories was amazing btw. Was at the edge of my seat for so much of the later half.
There was so much rain in my room even just writing this, I absolutely love this adorable Abydos crew! 🥺 Aru and Problem Solver coming back to save the day was such a joy, I'm so glad this event started a friendship with them and the Task Force, even if it had it's share of ups and downs! Knowing that you were on the edge of your seat is such a tremendous compliment; I love to tell engaging stories and hearing how compelling this was to watch makes me so grateful!! 🙏😖🙏
Thank you so much for this!! I've been catching up to the story lately and reading the Eden treaty chapters but I haven't really been that invested in the beginning so this is really useful!
I'm so glad to hear that this was helpful! The Abydos story happens so early on in the game that most of us just haven't thought about it in awhile, so it was really nice to revisit the district and the Foreclosure Task Force again for this video!
i'm not gonna lie. this was almost 2 and half hours, and i'm surprised i actually sat through it. BAs story has always been S teir to me, and it felt soooo good to listen to it be told again. i'm overly excited for the Eden Treaty video to be released😍
And finally finished it throughout 2 days of watching while eating. Afterwards I went into the game to read the rest of the story and yeah I see why you said that the story was unlinearly told. The lore is amazing, Arius squad's story is probably my personal favourite(Saori coming out very very soon). Gonna enjoy your retelling of the story in the future when the series comes to that point!
i just discovered this channel because it was recommended. So I look forward to someone explaining to me the lore, as someone who just doesn't have the time to read through the story or can;t have time to enjoy it. I really appreciate the time and effort put into this.
I'm a bit late to the party with this one but as someone who's played for very specific characters and gameplay who is also kinda lost in what this story actually is, having someone dive into this type of stuff makes me understand why you're very passionate about this game. I'm glad I still play it to this day!
gosh, thank you so much for making this video!! I love BA's story a lot and I am so enamoured by the way you explained it! It just went by so fast that I was sad the video was ending haha~ Looking forward to the crazy chapter that is eden treaty!
I'm so glad you enjoyed this so much!! I'm so glad that my love of this game and it's lore is shared; it'll be a big task to put the Eden Treaty story together in one video but I'm up for the challenge! 🙏💪
That is so kind of you to say, thank you so much!! It was an absolute joy to put this together, and knowing that it was fun to hear me talk about the lore makes it well worth the time that I put into it!
Thanks for this comprehensive and well-written breakdown! This really helps to explain the setting and i’ll probably use it to convince some fence sitters to start the game
UM HELLOO 😅 why has YT not put you in my algorithm sooner. I too am obsessed with BA and will be subscribing to this Chanel bc the amount of work put into this !
I am so glad you were finally able to find the channel! Honestly I'm floored with how many people have suddenly discovered these videos, I am so happy to have fellow Blue Archive fans to share the love of the characters and story!!
Yooo that was such a good retelling of BA! I watched every second of it and can’t believe I passed all this story just so I could pull gacha!! Looking forward to more lore archive!
Thanks for making this video ! , finished it in one sitting xD. i've been playing blue archive since the days it's released in Jp , beginning playing for the OST and Waifus only , now i'm really interested in the lore and story and this video is a great refreshment.
Thanks a lot for this, I've never found good lore videos on BA... You've done such an amazing job ! It was really interesting and fun to watch and you have a nice voice too !
That's so kind of you to say, thank you!! I'd seen a bunch of videos translating the story but felt like there was a lot of untapped potential in delving into the story, so I'm delighted I can share these videos with you!
I finished listenning to this at 2am, and I do not have any regrets whatsoever! After I completed the story, it was nice to clear, and refresh things, which were confusing. Thank you!
@@yumietsuchinoko I was doing codework due today while listenning to it, so I'd like to formally thank you for keeping my sanity kevels up! Ever since I started playing this game, I was an Aru fan, but I got to like Hoshino more, and more throughout the story!
This is the first video ive seen of yours, but your voice and the way you told the lore was extremely pleasant to listen to!!! You've definitely got a new subscriber, im happy to see someone making content about the lore! The lore of this game is what got me interested, i was reading lore more than playing the game (until last week) so this appearing on my feed was literally fate
That is so incredibly kind of you, thank you!! It is so wonderful to meet other lore enthusiasts; it is a ton of fun to delve into the worlds within games, and Blue Archive has such an intricate, fascinating world, I love seeing how it has all come together in the story! I'm so glad that you were able to find this channel, I'll be covering the colossal Eden Treaty next and then we'll be visiting SRT just in time for the second Millenium chapter to hit the global server! :)
Much respect for your dedication in making this video. I will definitely be waiting for more on the next chapters of the story. Loved the way you wrote the narration of each chapter with so much emotion. Congrats
Thanks for the great video! My favorite part is the fact Shiroko held onto her bank robbery stuff the entire time till it was actually needed and then Hifumi wearing a tayaki bag on her head! I also see Hoshino differently now at first I thought she was just a sloth in the shape of a human lol I been playing since the first week of the game but never payed attention to the story, as I was also playing Arknights and busy grinding through League. Only got curious after seeing someone post a vid of a new loading screen and I went, "eh what's happening?!? Depression?!?!" Your video was really well done! I was surprised when I saw it was 2 hours I thought it might have just been a open discussion stream upload, but happily instead it was a really well done scripted video! There was never a moment where it felt like stalling, and it never broke the score! If it was a rhythm game it felt like watching someone never miss a beat! Did you do this in one sitting? If you did I'm surprised your voice didn't die towards the end lol
That is so incredibly kind of you to say, thank you!! Mercifully I didn't record the whole thing in one sitting, but some of the recordings were anywhere from 10-25 minutes each so it was a crazy thing to edit it all together! I'm so glad you enjoyed listening to it, and I can't wait to share more with you all in future Lore videos! 🙏
Just finally finished the entire story of the game including Volume F and im now here to get a good recap of all the old stuff ive partially forgotten, god i love this game
I’ve recently gotten back into Blue Archive, well before the new PV that came out. But ever since seeing it and now watching this, I truly appreciate what you have done here. You’ve definitely got my subscribe 😊
I'm so glad you're enjoying the game and feeling the hype from that PV! It is incredibly gratifying to share my love of this story with you all, so I'm excited to keep making more videos in this series as we delve into the rest of the story!
Thank you UA-cam recommendations for giving me something good for once. As someone who's also a really big fan of the game's lore and has always wanted to make their own video on the lore of this game, this definitely seems like an interesting video! Although I'll hold off on my thoughts on this video until I find time to finish the video, it seems very well written from just having watched the prologue. Good work!
That is so kind of you to say!! I'm always delighted to find other lore enthusiasts, so I hope that the video is an enjoyable watch when you have the spare time! 🙏
GOAT video. I got into Blue Archive because of a friend's recommendation and all of the art that I saw. I dropped the game after several months due to the gameplay not clicking for me. Your videos help me still enjoy the world, and I plan on actually reading the Eden Treaty arc once I watch your Volume 2 video.
That is SO kind of you to say!! I completely respect not vibing with the gameplay, it's definitely not for everyone, but I'm so glad that you've still been able to enjoy Blue Archive's world through these videos! I hope you have a great time watching through, and definitely grab some tissues, because there will be a lot of tears shed as you embark through later chapters!
I like the video! Still watching but a note that's sort of easy to miss because it comes and goes quickly-- Far as we know: halos are not why the students are impervious to gunfire, explosions and more. All Kivotos citizens/natives have this surreal durability, and in the prologue they explicitly say "Sensei isn't from Kivotos, so even a single bullet will take them out". If you're from Kivotos, you can survive ordinarily lethal force. Stuff like Kirino's events show her shooting a dog person, and I think there's also more dog-person shooting in some side stories too (Remedial Nights (Serina/Hanae) comes to mind, where they open fire on a guy). Uh, spoilers for some really later Blue Archive lore. . .. . . . . . . . Halos, if anything, seem to be a weakness. Every time halos are brought up in the game it is in the sense of "destroying it will kill you". Saori mentions Sensei's lack of a halo being why Sensei might die from a bullet, but Saori is also a very innocent, ignorant character. When the game mentions halos explicitly, it's always tied to how the halo can break, and thus kill you. Essentially, although it will allegedly take an extreme amount of effort to kill them, surprisingly those with halos--students--are possibly the second most vulnerable people in Kivotos, the first being outsiders like Sensei and Gematria members. And, the fact that halos are only mentioned in terms of "death" really needs emphasizing I think because they don't even mention halos in casual conversation despite them being such obvious things. Every single time halos are brought up it's deathly (literally) serious. No "your halo is cute!" comments, no "we have similar halos" comments, no nothing. If someone is talking about halos, it's because they're talking about death or murder. It's a part of the world building in Blue Archive I really respect. That alone tells you that it's practically a taboo subject.
Technically Azusa also mentioned that Halos break when you die. When the description of how she was taught to kill came up, it was never “we must snipe at the halo” or something that suggested the Halo was a weakness. Instead the Halo is like a health bar, the moment you received fatal damage it visually breaks and thus serves as a kill confirmation. That is why it is always referred in a matters of life and death, since you can see if they are still alive by seeing the state of their Halo. I may also add that it is not just Saori who mentions that Sensei can due from a single gunshot, Hina and Sena also panicked and hurried to treat his wound, suggesting he lacks the same protection the rest of the girls have. We have seen that regular animal people and the robot citizens are less durable too, as shown by how most of the hospitalized people in Kivotos tend to be regular civilians, suggesting the Halo may have something to do with it.
@@lenleon3699 I mean that's disingenuous, there are nursing and hospital type groups that help students when they get heatstroke, collapse, are shot too much etc and of course Saori regularly has to stop Misaki from killing herself. Girls are also usually taken down by gunfire in story and in gameplay (for instance for named characters, Momoi got put in a short coma from Aris attacking her/everyone else there at the time was taken down), there's never been any mention or exception given to them to suggest or say that they're more durable than the general citizenry. And again yeah, of course they panicked? Like I said, in the prologue you're outright told that since Sensei isn't from Kivotos, Sensei will be taken down by a single bullet. My point is that unlike the regular people of Kivotos, the ones with halos are the only ones said to be able to take mortal wounds. In fact Seia even talks about how death is otherwise somewhat of a foreign concept in the city. I never said they're a weakpoint, I'm saying that evidently having one introduces the possibility of death to you--a possibility we've seen throughout the game's story has only been the case for students (we know of/even see (through flashback) several students who die/had their halos break)
@@terrenceswiff Funny you give Aris as an example when she is using a FRIGGING SCI-FI LASER which is shown to be capable of leveling an entire building. And speaking of Millenium, C&C’s MO to rescue their operatives is to literally destroy the entire room, meaning they trust their operative to be durable (and even during the whole assassination scene, the only reason given for Seia having a low threshold was that she was apparently frail in comparison to others). Also, I get the feeling people don’t ever use the word “disingenuous” appropriately. Unless anything you said proved that I was being dismissive of similarities (you only mentioned that they also get injured, which obviously).
@@lenleon3699 Disingenuous as in you're highlighting only cases of regular citizens being hospitalized even though we have other cases and see girls going down to regular gunfire often. And I do mean often, I honestly can't think of that many "regular people" being taken care of by nurses or the like, but obviously we mostly see students in need of aid.
Jesus christ this was so entertaining I had a whole meal while watching this. I wanted a refresher after seeing that recent PV and I gotta say this was an amazing video, I am eagerly awaiting for another chapter!!! But once again spectacular job 👌
That makes me so happy to hear, thank you so much!! I put a lot of hard work into this, so hearing it was so enjoyable to watch makes me unbelievably grateful🙏I'm looking forward to making more of these videos, especially with the Eden Treaty being the next Volume that we'll be covering!
This game has such a nice lore and character design. I feel bad for skipping the early chapters so I can work on my account immediately. I really needed this. Looking forward to more videos like this!
Yoooooo this was a complete work of love! Thank you for the awesome breakdown and compelling narration. As someone currently catching up to the main story quests for Vol. F after putting it off for so long, it's very refreshing to see more people appreciate the worldbuilding and Lore that went into Kivotos! 🌌 I also rarely feel the need to comment online, but I truly appreciate the amount of effort making this easy-to-digest video format, especially to the tidbits of information not quite placed in the game's dialogue like Hoshino's flashback to the Desert Festival, and how Binah ties into the events. Also wanna add huge props to the timing on the OST placement during the video, definitely sets the tone for the scenes! Looking forward to watching the Eden Treaty, Clockwork Pavane, and more to come! Marvelous work! 🧡❤💙
Oh my word, that is SO kind of you to say, I can't thank you enough for checking this out and taking the time to leave a comment!! I spend a lot of time trying to carefully pick songs and images to pair with each section, so knowing that helped to enhance the experience makes me so glad to hear! The writers of this game spend so much time building this world but only have so much time and space to delve into it, so I've been really excited to make these videos to dive into the lore and highlight things that might have been buried otherwise; I also desperately hope that the Abydos girls are able to host their own Desert Festival at some point!
This was honestly amazing, I blew off the story for so long and am close to maxing my account level. But after the recent livestream I rushed to finish taskforce and watched this video and am dying to see where to story goes. Please keep up the good work and I’m eager to see the next part!
That makes so glad to hear, thank you!! I am so grateful to share my love of this game's story; that PV was absolutely incredible, I'm so excited to see where the plot takes us and for all these awesome storylines to reach the global server as well! I'm waiting until the Eden Treaty is finally complete on global in two patches, and then I'll be compiling all my research for the next video on Trinity, Gehenna, and the more devious members of Gematria! 🙏😖🙏
I would love to see more deep dives on blue archive like this! This game's lore is nothing short of amazing and even though I know alot about the lore, i still thoroughly enjoyed this!
I'm so glad that you enjoyed it!! I can talk about Blue Archive for... many... many hours, so I'm glad that my love for the lore of this game is shared within the community! My plan is to cover the Eden Treaty next, since it ties in really nicely to Abydos (and I want to wait for Millenium to have their full story completed on Global), so I'll definitely be making more of these videos in the future!
Nice video! I am maxed in BA and play for the characters, but this video made me view some of the characters I have in new light, and consider looking at the lore more!
I was so hyped for this and you knocked it out of the park! Clearly a lot of love and care for the game went into this video! I had a lot of fun revisiting the story with you. You did a great job of restructuring the story in a more linear way and you explained the setting, inhabitants and politics of Kivotos much better than the game does in my opinion. Even though I read the whole story in the game already I still picked up on quite a few new things. I never noticed that Arona shares similarities with the president of the general student council for example. I could start gushing over the story itself now, but this is probably long enough already^^ I can't wait for Lore Archive part 2 and the Eden Treaty section of the story!
I am so beyond happy to hear that the video lived up to the hype!! 🙏😖🙏 it is such a delight sharing my love of this game with you all; there seriously are SO many small details in the story, so I wanted to try and weave them all together as best as I could. Hearing that this was well worth the watch, even after playing through the main story, is such a delight to hear! I am thoroughly looking forward to bringing you all more Lore Archive; the plan right now is to cover the Eden Treaty next, since it connects so nicely to Abydos, and then when the Global server gets the Millennium story update, I can gush about the Game Development Club and how insanely adorable Arisu is! 🙏
Yo I was laughing my ass off when reading ingame, but you made the story a whole lot emocional, kinda made me tear up a bit. that's a really tall order, good job
What a wonderful video, I actually watched the whole thing, it's been such a long time since I played Foreclosure Task Force story, not to mention your storytelling is top notch! The lore in this seemingly cute game is insanely good. The next episode Eden Treaty is literally my favorite. Keep it up!
I just wanna say a big thank you to you for making these Blue Archive videos. I never heard about you at all before so thank the youtube algorithm for letting me find you when looking up blue archive guides. But yeah, your energy and joy when talking about the game really came through in your videos. I think the timing for the videos seem quite good too lining up with everything that's been going on with the game. Me personally this resurgence and the new year made me wanna come back and actually play the game instead of just login in every once in a while for the login rewards. And for actually playing the game, I think your guide video was probably the very best one out on youtube at the moment. its very comprehensive yet the length is not felt at all. Spealomg of length, sorry this comment went on way longer than I intended >__
Don't apologize whatsoever, you're totally fine!! I am so glad that you have enjoyed the videos; it's so nice to hear that you found them to be really comprehensive, that was exactly what I was going for in them. I can get really passionate when talking about the games that I love and it has been so nice to share my love of this game on the channel. I really appreciate your kind words, I'm so grateful that my enthusiasm for this game helped in learning more about the story as well as how to play the game!
Thank you for the lore video, there isn't a lot of videos that really go into great details about blue archive or the story like this, so thank you for the great video.
That is so kind of you to say, thank you!! I am so grateful I've been able to make this series, it has been such a pleasure sharing the lore of this game and it's extremely lovable cast!
Your presentation style is really engaging and your passion for the lore really shines through. Would really love to see more lore videos, especially covering the Eden Treaty
You're in luck, because that is the next video I'll be making! It'll be a tremendous task to tell that story, but I am delighted to share that with you all on the channel!
I went back in playing BA after a year (my last event is that small stalin girl), and my God thank you very much for this recap. Subbed and will lurk in your streams :^)
Looking back now from experiencing the whole saga that is the final chapter of Blue Archive, your way of narrating and laying down the lore of the Abydos arc was very helpful and enjoyable. If you decide to put out any similar content in the future, I'll be sure to tune in. (Other than the ones you have uploaded of course)
That is such a tremendous compliment, I'm really glad that these videos helped to lay the groundwork for some of the later chapters! That is 100% my goal to make this series as approachable and understandable as possible, so I'm really glad these have been so enjoyable to watch. I'm working on finishing the next part of the Eden Treaty as we speak, and then once the next Millennium Chapter is released on global, I'll be working on that next!
I'm so glad to hear that!! It's been such a long time in the making but I'm so happy that I could finally start compiling the lore of Blue Archive for everyone to enjoy!
It was definitely a herculean effort... I didn't intend for it to be so long but before I knew it, I'd written and recorded over two hours of footage and editing that was wild. That being said, I definitely learned a lot from the process so I'll be spreading out the work more and getting some more sleep before releasing the next Volume! 💪
This is so helpful for me since I been so busy with school and don't have time to read through the story but always wanted to know about it. Although I've been spoiled, this video just made me all the more excited to experience the story myself when I get my free time :D
That is so kind of you to say!! I'm looking forward to making more videos in this series, we'll be covering the Eden Treaty and all the chaotic happenings that will take place! 🙏
It's so crazy how a one off joke about Hifumi being a crime boss became one of the major plot points in Volume 3 HAHAH
It's was really funny moments lol
Her being a criminal and sent to that club was how she was able to befriend Azusa and prevented her from killing Arius members and ultimately causing a bad end as well. Her existence prevented that club from dissolving and losing an important member to Trinity such as Hanako.
@@cunnyman don't forget part when someone bring topic of hifumi how she ended up in that situation in make up work club and look on Sensei face after hearing that info was hilarious I couldn't stop my self from laughing when that topic start 😂
this being the first comment is a crime. I couldn't even not read it.
"More than a little obsessed with this game" I felt that
I hadn't even seen the final time stamp on the video when I wrote that line, but I already knew deep in my bones that I would easily spend several hours talking about this game....
@@yumietsuchinoko Just put more hours. I'd rather a comprehensive summary
Oh my, it can’t be, Razgriz...The demon of the north sea....

when aru showed up to help foreclosure chanting the motto i legit shed a tear
Same!! It was such an emotional moment to see Problem Solver show up after all that had happened and they still had the Task Force’s back; I absolutely love the ensemble of characters in this game, it's such a joy to go through the entire story with such a great cast!
I appreciate someone finally doing videos on this games lore. It's blown me away and so underrated!
The next Volume I'll be covering is a fan favorite and an absolute rollercoaster of emotions, so I am delighted for when I'll have that ready to share with you all!
didn't expected you to be here😆
Watched the entire thing.
It's extremely detailed and very well put forth. Just the way I like to watch lore.
This channel is a gem.
It's been so long since I last did the previous chapters, this is a great refresher.
Any mention of Hifumi is so precious to me. Hifumi is MY Blue Archive protagonist
@Yumie Tsuchinoko I will be eagerly awaiting for your future content. Keep up the good work!
Being recommended this video changed my entire life. I am so glad it showed up.
Hey, I just wanted you to know that I love what you did here. Hoping for future series!
This is great, exactly the kind of story/lore video I have been looking for. Super excited they are finally getting an anime adaption.
Thank you for doing these videos. I started a few days ago in the JP server and your retelling and all of your BA content have been so helpful for me! You gained a new subscriber. Thank you so much for your hard work.
There was a lot of things about the Vol. 1 that I wasn't aware or didn't remember.
Love the video and I'm excited for the next one!
I got extremely invested in the lore of BA after this video essay, thank you!
You're very welcome, thank you so much for checking it out!!
@@doktahv8837 Absolutely!! I think that is so cool you're bringing all these different IP's together, that is so awesome!!

And I bet the sudden appearance of PV4 threw some wrenches into the works, eh?

It definitely was a tremendous amount of work to put this together, but I've been wanting to make content like this for so long that I think it was well worth all the effort I put in. I'm actually planning on covering the Eden Treaty next, so once I've got all my research notes together I'll be writing my script and filming that!
The 4th PV was absolutely WILD, it confirmed a lot of suspicions I was going to get into during the SRT chapter, so I'm beyond excited to get into that later on!
Finally, a diligent and well detailed summary of the Blue Archive Story
I started Blue Archive on a whim just because it seemed like a fun Gatcha Game to try.😅
But the game since had surpassed my expectations and Became one of my ask time Fevourite
because of How GRAND and EPIC yet inspirational and grounded the story is.❤❤❤
.
I absolutely will continue this series and am currently working on the next entry, which will feature the glorious saga that is the Eden Treaty; I know how crazy life can get and not everyone can reasonably play through the story, so I'm grateful I can share whatever knowledge I have while sharing the story of Blue Archive!
thank you for doing this i think blue archive lore is very under rated and good to see that someone care this much to share to others
I really love how you pronounce the names in the video. I will watch all you up coming blue archive video for sure
That absolutely made my day, I try really hard to pronounce names correctly and although I don't always nail it, I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed listening to it! 🙏😖🙏
Getting to listen to this and having the news drop a little later of the anime adaptation made my week
Ahhhh that makes me so glad to hear!! I absolutely lost it when they announced an anime adaptation, I am so excited to see how it all turns out! 😭🙏
Man, that PV yesterday was FIRE
FOR REAL!! I'm holding off on discussing any spoilers from it, since it won't hit the Global server for a little bit longer, but MAN am I hyped for when that drops!!
Subbed for the story runthrough and explanations of Blue Archive. I love LOVE blue Archive, and I need more story breakdowns. 😭😭😭
Thank you for the recap.. The story is more interesting than I initially thought... makes me want to read on the initial conversation chapter now...
@@syaondri wait, they announce anime already ??
@@syaondri will do... 👍👍thank you..
I love this walkthrough of the Blue Archive lore. I personally like separating my gameplay and story and as such I never get around to reading the story whenever I unlock a new chapter. This really helps understand the story and makes me care so much more about the characters! I'm excited for many more entries to this video series❤
I wasn't expecting to see something like this, but I honestly hope you'll keep doing these for the rest of the volumes. It was a great listen.
It was fun listening. I'm glad you made this so that I can listen to it while working on office
Is it raining in my room? xD
What a jolly bunch, especially Aru and company! Was not expecting the massive lore bombs either! holy crap D:
The way you deliver your lines and tell these stories was amazing btw.
This was great. I love lore videos and I sat through the whole thing in one sitting. Enjoyed this with my dinner.
gosh, thank you so much for making this video!! I love BA's story a lot and I am so enamoured by the way you explained it!
It just went by so fast that I was sad the video was ending haha~
Looking forward to the crazy chapter that is eden treaty!
I'm so glad you enjoyed this so much!! I'm so glad that my love of this game and it's lore is shared; it'll be a big task to put the Eden Treaty story together in one video but I'm up for the challenge! 🙏💪
This was so well written and made! Thanks so much for producing it!
That is so kind of you to say, thank you so much!! It was an absolute joy to put this together, and knowing that it was fun to hear me talk about the lore makes it well worth the time that I put into it!
ITS AMAZING, IT WAS REALLY WELL MADE, THANKS FOR POURING TIME INTO EXPLAINING A TELLING THE STORY OF CHAPTER 1, I AM EAGER TO SEE THE NEXT CHAPTER
WOW im going to buy some snacks and watch this! thanks for the present!
It is my pleasure!! It ended up being the length of a feature film so having some popcorn and snacks is a perfect way to watch it!
Great vid! Your insights and script were pretty nice to hear. Looking forward to your next videos on the Lore Archive!
Thank you!
I'm so glad to hear that, thank you for watching!! I hope you were able to catch up on sleep and get some rest after everything was said and done! 🙏
I also see Hoshino differently now at first I thought she was just a sloth in the shape of a human lol
I been playing since the first week of the game but never payed attention to the story, as I was also playing Arknights and busy grinding through League. Only got curious after seeing someone post a vid of a new loading screen and I went, "eh what's happening?!? Depression?!?!"
Your video was really well done!

@@yumietsuchinoko I look forward to it!!! 👍
I also rarely feel the need to comment online, but I truly appreciate the amount of effort making this easy-to-digest video format, especially to the tidbits of information not quite placed in the game's dialogue like Hoshino's flashback to the Desert Festival, and how Binah ties into the events.
@@yumietsuchinoko thats so hype! ill catch up so i can finish eden treaty and watch the next video. Can't wait to see more of your stuff!
I could start gushing over the story itself now, but this is probably long enough already^^
I can't wait for Lore Archive part 2 and the Eden Treaty section of the story!
@@yumietsuchinokoand great character design too
Your presentation style is really engaging and your passion for the lore really shines through. Would really love to see more lore videos, especially covering the Eden Treaty
You're in luck, because that is the next video I'll be making! It'll be a tremendous task to tell that story, but I am delighted to share that with you all on the channel!
I love this game, the lore and I appreciate the narration. I was looking for something like this for over a year.
I went back in playing BA after a year (my last event is that small stalin girl), and my God thank you very much for this recap.
Subbed and will lurk in your streams :^)
I skipped the story because i don't have time so this is really helpful and now I'm excited for the next part(thank you very much for this video)
FINALLY IVED BEEN WAITING FOR THIS, organized lore!.
I'm so glad to hear that!! It's been such a long time in the making but I'm so happy that I could finally start compiling the lore of Blue Archive for everyone to enjoy!
Can't wait for the next episode, this must've had been REALLY mentally draining to make this long video. Looking forward to it
It was definitely a herculean effort...
Yumie Hitting us with that "Theme 105" For me one of the best bangers from BA, and BA has a lot of good tracks, Also Hina best girls no matter what
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FINAL VOLUME LORE! ❤
love your vids 😄
I need more, MOREEEE LOOOREEEEEE!!!... also, your voice *chef's kiss* can't wait for the next chapter
That is so kind of you to say!! I'm looking forward to making more videos in this series, we'll be covering the Eden Treaty and all the chaotic happenings that will take place! 🙏
