I'm loving the content of this little gem of a channel! Your shots are so beautiful, I appreciate you taking us along to explore this beautiful province of British Columbia. Nice work :)
Another great video Chris. By far some of the best views iv seen. All those stumps and poles in the water looked amazing 😮. You said you were making some of that bag food how is that i always have been hesitant to try ut lol. Thanks for sharing as usual.
Thank you so much! It’s my pleasure. That’s right! The dehydrated meals wouldn’t always be my first choice but for situations where space and weight is at a premium, they’re hard to beat. The convenience factor of not have to wash up afterwards is also a big win 😂 We’ve picked up a dehydrator machine recently, so I’ll be experimenting with some more affordable home made meals too in future episodes.
Hey, Can you tell me more about your skegs? I’m only familiar with the small glue on ones on the website, have you done something different as you mentioned yours are removable? I’m definitely looking to add this to my paddleski
Hi there! Yes, of course. I purchased 2 paddleboard skegs from Amazon and used marine vinyl glue to attach them to the back air chambers. The ones I bought have detachable skegs, so I leave the bases on permanently and slot the skegs in when I want better tracking in kayak mode. I’m working on filming a full walkthrough of my paddleski setup that should also be out shortly.
Thanks for the reply, will look forward to the walk thru as I think you’re onto something. Have you used the outboard with the skegs attached? Would be good to leave them in once you launch but I wonder if they’d handle it
I haven’t had a chance to test how the skegs perform with the outboard at high speeds yet unfortunately. I wish Sea Eagle had a solution for this from the factory, as straight line tracking was a big issue while paddling solo. Happy to report it’s not a problem now! It’s also great to hear from another PaddleSki owner - I don’t think there’s a ton of us around yet haha 👊🏻
@@cedarcabinsociety I wonder if it’s proximity to the axle of the wheels placed the idea in the too hard basket for the manufacturer - on average users would clip / damage / tear off the skegs leading to cost

Beautiful video
Thanks so much for watching and supporting our channel!
Looks beautiful there😁
That was a fun camping adventure you went on!
It really is! Thank you for watching!
Little too cold for me but fantastic views coupled with your camping skills
Thanks for watch, Ken!
first set of prints were too close together for deer. Coyote maybe.
Second set (webbed) were geese or swans maybe.
Thank you!

@@carfamily5701 that would be my guess too! Clearance is also an issue, so operating the wheels with the skegs I have doesn’t work.
