the new rs5 and rs3 both interior and exterior looks stunning the exaust sound is also quite good the rims look bold overall a very sexy car i dont understand why most people hate and calls them boring

audi has a lot of problems, pulled S4 and S5 from the market to change something on the engine, then they sold cars that share the same VIN in china. In germany u get massive discounts on Audis if u trade in your old car. (which has to be from a different brand). They´re having a lot of problems right now.
From a design aspect I think they are ahead of the game. Their interiors are way ahead of the game, their cars are absolutely stunning looking. Beautiful design inside and out. Purely subjective but I'm sure many would agree.

Thank you. Yes, the exhaust is too quiet for an RS. They sure need to upgrade that. Everything else is a major step forward.
Auditography I appreciate the modern reasoning behind the six cylinder technology. Lighter, equal power, more torque and better efficiency than previous generation V8.
But sound has diminished and the Plus V8 would have been nice, at least as a special-order (practical) option. After all, Lexus features a V8 with the wonderfully sounding LC500.
I know it's not reality.
The exhaust is the problem, not the 6-cylinder engine. It sounds great in the Panamera.
kraenk12 There are other detracting factors, too, as many see it. The B8/B8.5 had wider aero aesthetics than B9. The specs and styling present as more suited to S5, not an RS5. The sports differential is optional, after all. Would anyone desire one without this? By the time one adds all the spirited equipment, you're nearing RS7 realm. (The pricing gap wouldn't make up the difference in the performance gap.)
For that pricing, Audi could have presented the B9 RS5 on a level above the M4/M3/C63/RC500 and comparable to Corvette GS. The weight saving is notable for handling, but B9 is below its competitors despite this anyway.
Meaning, they could have offered the 4.0LTT akin to RS6 as a premium option. But the pricing would have been beyond their target.
Efficiency wouldn't have been so much a factor.
The new RS6, for instance, as reported by Top Gear, “is a decent chunk more fuel-efficient than the old version - up to 30 per cent. Part of that is down to clever aircon and thermal management, but there’s also COD (Cylinder On Demand) tech in the engine, which we’ve seen before on various cars. This simply shuts down half the cylinders when running a light throttle. In the case of the RS6, if you’re using under 3,500rpm on a constant load, then the car drops cylinders 2, 3, 5 and 8 out of service. Doing so generally reduces fuel consumption by about five per cent on the usual combined cycle, or as much as 12 per cent at a steady 62mph cruise.”

Presumably this RS5 was without the optional sports exhaust, the sound is rather disappointing comparing to the old RS5 with V8.
Call me old school but I'm not a huge fan of virtual cockpit, it's very functional but the analogue clocks are far superior in terms of their look and feel in this kind of car.
It's with the Sports exhaust. There is sadly hardly any difference with or without..

my dream had been that Audi has taken the audi rs6/7 engine to the rs4/5!!!! 560hp!!!!!! and the standard of rs6/7 is 605 hp and perf. model 680 or 700 hp!!!! carbon roof, carbon chassis and make an audi sport quattro that has a camera that see the corners and automaticly shifts to rwd and on lines awd/ quattro!!! audi sport quattro and carb roof standard on all s/rs/r models (you can have another roofs to but it costs 0) get Audi to see this please!!!!! biggets audi fan ever. (maybe this not make any sense but I am an 12 yrs old boy from Norway so...)

Looks good overall. Not a fan of the wheels, giant "Quattro" printed on the front, dashboard that is all one long vent, nav screen that is permanently sticking high above the dash.

Auditography You mean too heavy? It's not too heavy for 6 platform. That's only one slight model up from 4/5 platform.
As said, the 4.0V8TT is way to heavy for this car. Theis new B6 BiTurbo engine is much lighter and much more agile, and its MUCH faster than the old RS5. Just needs a better exhaust.
Auditography I covered the "TOO heavy" element. You just repeated the same. It would make it no heavier than RS6. I don't agree with you on your premise. I have already mentioned the efficiency element (in my other posting below). Still, a special option for that V8 would have been nice.
I gave you the answer that the engineers from Ingolstadt told me when I asked them. But I guess you know better.

I don't like ABT's bodykts either, they look kind of cheap. But i really love their wheels. ABT's DR 20" or GR 20" really fit to Audi's design language.

We had the newest TT-RS recently (as you could see in a video), and also raced these two on Autobahn 100-200km/h, and I didn't see any laughing there. They were side by side.
